Katie the leasing agent was very helpful and easy to talk to about my concerns about my unit. She first helped me sign the lease, and then when there were some issues, she was able to assist me right away. Katie was really amazing and helpful, so thank you so much Katie!

Many thanks to Maggie Ma for her fabulous support and remarkable service. It is highly appreciated. Thanks to the Hub team as well. The Hub is very nice place to live in especially it is very close to shopping stores, service and Waterloo University. It is also good for a walk in the evening.

I lived in the Hub for 4 years with some minor issues here and there. There was a charge of 97 dollars on my account with no explanation as to why. My inspection went through fine with no comments. I never got an email about the charge or any reason as to why. I attempted to e-mail to ask about it, with no reply. Months later, I got a call from collections about this charge. I have called Accommod8u several times and no one is able to tell me what the charge is for and says someone will call me back, but I know better. This is predatory.

I lived in 365 albert street, room 627. I left the building in august 27th, my lease was over in 28th august 2022, on the 27th I gave them keys and clear out everything and they told me we will return your deposit which was 500$, after 1 months we called them they forgot. After 2,3 months we called again and again they were not responsive and not picked up the calls, and not were not giving relevant reply. I’m tired of this. Today it’s 6th Jan. 2023 still they didn’t give my deposit back, and don’t pick up my calls; though, I’m in the different city otherwise I could have reach there office. I sent one of my friend who live in waterloo over there at office, they told him same call on this number we called and emailed as well, but no response….
Worst customer support.
Unsatisfied experience.

There’s no clear way to distinguish the underground parking lot zone, and you will tickets. I hope they have no intention to earn money by doing so:). And the management is irresponsible as they don’t reply email

It's safe to say that this is the worst apartment I've stayed in. If you're looking for a place with frequent broken elevators, ac or other amenities, this is the perfect place for you. With this rent rate you can easily get a way better place somewhere else. Ridiculous.

Stayed here for a year, all around a good experience some minor issues but Ayesha Asim was fantastic and very helpful in figuring things out.

The staff here are very careless, one of the worst service I have encountered. I think they should hire some serious employees than passing tine dressed up in their office.

Overpriced, many problems with the building from cockroaches to constant drywall problems, thin walls that you can hear everyone, takes forever to get maintenance to do anything unless you call endlessly, parking stupidly crazy plus the cars are constant being broken into and they don't have working cameras for above ground or underground lots. Avoid this place

I am renting one of Accommod8u units and I had an issue with accessing my mail. Naz Hirji was super helpful and managed to resolve my issue right away. Congrats to excellent people like her.

The worst renting company we've ever met. When we checked out, the staff told us that everything was ok and what we needed to do is to wait the cheque of a full return of our key deposit $500. After one month, they sent us the email to charge $250 cleaning fee without any reason. Two months passed, we haven't receive any cheque. SCAM!

Poor living experience at the Hub
1. They inspected my suite before moving out and found it to be CLEAN/NO ISSUE. They charged me a $287.50 cleaning fee a month later.
2. Paid $500 key deposit and $250 hydro deposit and have not received them back after moving out.
3. Two leaks in the ceiling during 1 year lease. They left dry wall all over my room and personal belongings. Also, they entered my suite without notice.
4. The hydro company Provident Energy Management is expensive and has bad service. Read their reviews before signing a lease.

I appreciate your honesty including firstly the janitor Paulo who found my car key in the garage and handed to the office, then the employees who hold it for me until I came home from a vacation. The worst apartment I have lived ever.
1. They dont return our key deposit which is 500. What kind of key deposit is 500 and they don't give it back after we returned all keys. (They don’t reply email) That is rob
2. They charged 870 dollars for cleaning fee including mattress cover loss, removing stickers. They never provided any mattress cover and those stickers were there before I moved in.
3. The heat was broken in the winter for two weeks. So you know how good their maintenance is.
Don’t live here if you have other choice

The worst experience ever. When it comes to charge you they do it right away when it comes to refund your deposit, it will take them weeks. You need to fight with them. They won't answer your phone calls. Each employee gives you different information, they don't even know what they are doing.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Charged me $287.50 "cleaning fee" for absolute no reason and no proof whatsoever.

Before I moved out I cleaned my unit completely and get rid of every personal belongings. Then I took photos showing everything clean and submitted them to the HappyCo inspection form as they requested.

When I went to return my keys, I specifically asked if they need to perform any in person inspection other than that online form, and I was told no, and no problems at all.

Months later got an email claiming my unit is "not returned in an acceptable state", without give any proof & details about which part is damaged. And let me "refer to document" when I asked what is going on.

Absolutely disgusting management team.

BTW, they still own me my $500 key deposit

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Worst property management team in the world. I moved in a week ago and they told me they had already set up the internet but when I moved in they hadn't. So I had to spend a week without internet waiting for Rogers to install it.

When I signed the lease they also promised to funish the apartment but when I got here half the furniture was missing. I emailed them about this serveral times and no one replied to me for 2 weeks. Then they told me they will not be providing the furniture to me even though it is stated on my lease.

These are just 2 of the 20 different problems I had in just the 2 weeks of me living here.

These criminals take advantage of students, don't respond for weeks and are the least accomodating people I've ever met. Try to avoid them if you can. Rent from someone else!

Edit: They commented on my review and told my to email them. I did that and they called me back. They gave my fake apologies and then I told them I want my furniture that I was promised they still said they can't fix the issue. (Basically they just wasted my time with a 20 minute phone call). Furthermore I emailed them about more problems I have been having and it has been weeks since I have gotten a response. Don't trust them when they comment on reviews saying they want to fix their mistakes. They don't care about their residents and take advantage of the fact that they are students.

On Tuesday, I came to hub to rent a room. Chloe recommended several kinds of rooms on WeChat, and then showed me the room. Her attitude was great, and the introduction was very detailed! Looking forward to checking in September! (´︶`)

I had an amazing experience with Accommod8u while seeking housing for the spring term. Nadim ensured that all my needs were fit and really went above and beyond in such a short period of time. I have loved my stay here and would lease again with Accommd8u in the future!

The electricity bills are very expensive and unreasonable, the power supplier company DOES NOT RESPONSE at all and charged the so called “delivery fee” which is more than the actual electricity bills.
Also, the laundry room is dirty and there are often broken machines, not to mention that there are only 3 at the first place.

I enjoy every single time living in the Hub, anytime I have questions, the office will perfectly address them, especially CLARA who provided lots of help! And I am so nice:)

Every 5 star rating here is FALSE, likely from their employees. Constant false fire alarms that do not stop until the fire department arrives to stop the false alarms. Ice and water Builds up INSIDE my window and melts everywhere during the winter. Worst Place, do not rent. Facilities would be great, maybe.if they existed. Commerce shops, gym and more were all promised but never delivered. Do NOT sign here, they will take your money and play you like their laundry cards that can only be reloaded 10$ minimums at a time and doing only 1 load will cost you 5.25 on the minimum settings, probably so that you have to give them 10 more dollars.
How are they SO cheap for higher than usual rent?
