The Huron Club

Don't usually post 5*, but the ownership and staff of The Huron Club have earned this. Food is very good. While I would call The Huron Club a pub, the menu is quite extensive. Service is excellent, as is the atmosphere. You will want to make reservations on busy evenings.

We had the most amazing experience at The Huron Club. The owner and staff are so incredibly friendly. My boys left with the best souvenirs to take back to the states with them thanks to the owner. This was an experience none of us will soon forget. Thank you all!

Work Christmas party a few weeks back. Had a bunch of appies that were good for bar food. Server was prompt and lovely. Expected it to be fancier, would've given it a 4.5*.

Overall good. Great vegan options.
The pub atmosphere was a bit loud for my liking but on the right night it could be your thing.

This place by far has the best burger and fries I have ever had! Wow! The brisket tacos and the pork belly are absolutely outstanding. If you are out this way check it out. You owe it to yourself. The staff are super friendly. Go in and see Connor he will take good care of you! Thank you for taking care of us today and your menu recommendations were spot on!

Way over priced, not very good food and not a very well thought out menu.if you're just looking for drinks then by all means

Everything was great. It's was a little too loud for my parents with hearing aides. Next time we'll ask for a quieter corner.

The food is good. Not the right selection of plate for the burguer - it was dancing all over the table - but flavours were nice, and it felt healthy. It is the first time I get to have mashed potatoes as a side for a burger. Loved the flexibility!

Fried cheesecake is a 10/10. Delish food. Good service. Slaying all day. (Brisket is top tier. Burgers also slayed)

I ordered the fried chicken dinner and it was very dry. The fries tasted like they were from McCain's. Service was exceptional but music was too loud, forcing everyone to yell in order to have a conversation.

Amazing lunch. Very filling, brisket, chicken and sausage platters were delicious. So were the brisket sandwiches and burger. The waitress gave great recommendations, and there was a good selection of craft beers, ciders and seltzers

Our family of four visited on a Friday night and all I can say it AMAZING! From the menu items we ordered to the outstanding service from Sam. I would highly recommend you visit this place! The atmosphere is also beautiful - a converted historical house with so much charm.

We had a great experience. We had a large group - 15+ and they were great getting us setup and providing a positive experience for all.

The food is fantastic - I went with the burger which is a can't miss!

The wait to get in was long, unable to book reservations it's just turn up and hope they have space or join the wait list. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, it highlights the restaurants popularity.

The food here was fantastic, good sized portions, brilliantly executed.

There is a large selection of drinks to choose from.

The waiting staff were friendly and attentive ensuring our visit was pleasant.

I will be returning.

Service, food and atmosphere where all really good. There are so many things on the menu I want to try so will definitely be back.

The food was over priced. The Pad Thai was VERY spicy & the tofu wasn’t cooked well. No attempt was made to make it better & the waiter was rude.

The Huron Club building has fascinating Collingwood history which is part of its charm. Not everything on the menu is quality, but the service is great, just chose wisely what meal you order. Once you are familiar with it and you pick a good meal, you're experience dining there will be worth it!

I understand logistics of running a restaurant are tough but if one offers to take a full table offer for one take it. I will never come to your place or recommend any of my customers or family.but I am sure you are too busy anyway

Service is good, quick seating and they come around often. Cauliflower bites are solid, good sauce. The toppings were a little skimpynon the Greek fries, but not awful. Would probably visit again, especially on Monday. 21 dollars for a burger and beer (the burger is 21). Great selection, super classic.

The pad thai was disgusting. Server was great and removed it though.
It was very slow to get food. An hour and a half. Seems to be a common problem.

Re your reply: it tasted like when you over cool noodles and they are super starchy. They had zero flavour. I don't know how you mess up pad thai. Or how this is a best seller.
It was so gross i lost my appetite. Once was enough, that dish cannot be saved

Although the service was slow (over 75 minutes to get food), the server was kind, the food was good. Perogies were great topped with thick bacon slices, sour cream, cheese, and chives. Spilt the brisket sandwich and Nashville hot chicken with a friend. Unfortunately the ciabatta bun was stale and hard, but enjoyed the brisket! Good meal portion sizes. Cocktails were delicious! Would come back to try other things in the future.

As usual, Tony runs a tight ship, the food and atmosphere of the place has never been better. The pad-thai and Nashville hot chicken sandwich were particularly great! We'll be back just as soon as we can swing it

More of a sophisticated vibe to the place. Toronto sports teams always on. Love that the owners are involved with both the staff and customers. I frequent here with my best friend and his wife; it's my favourite hangout in Collingwood.

Very good drinks, food and service. They currently don't take reservations but if you call ahead they will hold a table for you.

Friendly and fast service, good portions and some of the best fries I've ever had. All in all a fantastic place to dine.

Great service. We were being seated at a high top table. When one of the employees noticed my mom was having a hard time getting on seat, he moved us to a regular table. The food was also great!

Wonderful experience! We stayed in Collingwood for couple days and walked in to have dinner. It was fantastic! The food, the ambiance, the service! Will definitely come back and recommend this spot! Our server Devyn was super nice, friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! The brisket, the spinach dip and the cheesecake were way beyond our expectations! Sooo delicious!

Food was great, but a little on the expensive side. I thoroughly enjoyed my popcorn shrimp, my husband was disappointed by the lack of celery and carrots with his wings, but the wings themselves were good. Staff were friendly! 4 stars because of price/value for money and the missing touch of veggie garnishes on the wings

If anyone ever wanna have a feel how racism feels make sure you visit this place. Even if someone have some time to waste still i wouldn't recommend you wasting your money and time here. Now matter how early you go or on which day you go there kitchen is always closed, sometimes i wonder even if they open the kitchen or no. I was having such a good day and my friends were here so we went there to have dinner and this was the worst decision I made in my life. There is a guy who is on the counter i don't know what's the issue with him but he seems always angry but he always make sure he comes with a good excuses and that is always the same "KITCHEN IS CLOSED ". Such a bad experience in three times in a row i would say you better think twice before going there. I would request the management to look after this issue and contact me before i reach to any big authority regarding this issue. I hope they would pay some attention to this matter and I'll be looking forward to hear soon from you guys.

Food was amazing! We had Cajun dry rub wings, fried chicken and THC burger OMG all so good! And the dessert for my fiance bday was cheese cake sticks.omg.delish!

Quaint little restaurant but lots of room for patrons including bar area and more private seating if desired. Prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious for lunch. I had a turkey club w/fries and it was more then enough for a hungry man. Many choices on the menu all looked inviting. (including liver & onions if your palate desires)
Lots of choices for beer on tap, bottled domestic and foreign.
Located one block from the main drag so if you want to get away from the traffic, this is a place I would recommend.

Recently, my girlfriend and I went to dinner at The Huron Club without reservation. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all tables were occupied. Within a short period of time, we were given a table. Staff was super nice and super friendly. Glancing at people's tables, I could see why there was a full house, the food was fantastic and coupled to a friendly staff, you have a formula for success. Well done Huron Club.

Best service, friendly, and just fun people. Food is always yummy and fresh. I personally love the salmon on mash, and surprisingly their wings and fries are really delicious!

The Huron club is my favourite restaurant in town. The staff are wonderful, especially Sabrina. The food is consistently amazing and the prices are reasonable. I love the environment and location and it's always where I suggest we go to when my friends and I go out.

You’ve probably read amazing reviews of this place if you’re thinking of going there - and trust me, The Huron Club does not disappoint. We went for an early brunch on a Sunday, and the food was pretty darn fabulous. Highly recommend the Chicken penne pasta and the Thai chicken lettuce wrap (appetizer). Ofcourse, everything else was delicious as well. We’d happily go there again.

Pro tip - they are pretty full up on evenings.make sure you get a reservation beforehand.

They were awesome. Tony seated and served us. He was exceptional. They were short staffed but we were served in less than 20 minutes. Everything was fresh. My appetizer - the muscles - was so flavourful. Thank you!

So, for the second night in a row I tried to place a pick up order. Yesterday, Saturday, when I called at 6: 45 I was informed that they stopped take out at 6: 00. OK, so today we tried at 5: 00 and was told they were too busy to speak with us and to call back in 15 minutes. When I called back. "sorry we closed the take out time at 5: 00, the kitchen is too busy". Based on the reviews I was expecting something special, I guess I got it!

This place is great! It was my first time there for dinner on Aug 10. Had the rib dinner and the portion was huge. Did not leave hungry. Food was great, great atmosphere and staff were great! Thanks for a great meal.

Great food, and great service but the reservation/use of call backs just isn't working. We called and we're told it was very busy and to call back in 30minutes. (No name or info was taken) then when we called back in 30 we were then put in que of everyone on the waiting list. When we arrived 1 hour after we initially called it appeared as we were almost turned away but the manager (I'm guessing) brought us in thankfully. It's great service but when someone calls their info should be taken and put in que at the first call. We've been a couple times and the food is delicious so we were willing to wait but appreciated that they respected the fact that technically we had already waited one hour for a table. Still look forward to returning again.

We ate inside at The Huron Club Restaurant as it was so hot out and the noise in the place from other patrons we could hardly hear ourselves talk. Food was good though had the Fish&Chips

Excellent place to have some salad and burgers obviously. Thank you so much for friendly service. Sweet potato fries and vegan burger is one of the best things. Nachos was good as well. Servers are very helpful. Clean restaurant and washroom.

The worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Rude and inconsiderate. They definitely don't understand customer first when it comes to customer service. If you want to be treated as if your business is valued and appreciated, don't go here.

We had our lunch on a Friday and we were running late after holding the table. The host was gracious enough to hold it for an extra 30 minutes for us.
The food was amazing. We tried a variety of cuisines - vegan burger, Thai chilli lettuce wraps, pad Thai and yummy drinks. The best part- good portion sizes
except the onion rings which were too oily, great food

Their food was amazing! While visiting Collingwood we had lunch and drinks on their patio - then ordered take-out from them for dinner since we loved it so much. The menu also had lots of meatless options as well. Highly recommend!

This place gets five stars for the buttermilk fried chicken, really outstanding! Light, crispy batter, but moist, tender meat. Expertly prepared! With a honey hot sauce, spicy slaw and grilled corn. I'd return just for this dish. Generous portion too: thigh, breast, drumstick and wing all included on one platter. Nice patio, on a quieter side road. Friendly service too. Recommended!

The Stingin Hot Honey Garlic Wing are perfect! Best wings in town! Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu!
