The Jewel Event Center

Went to an event on Sunday the venue was good but the food was the worst food I have ever had. I want to to call the food police if there is ever one. This is supposed to be - 9

Fantastic food great service, I wold recommend penne all vodka, the best I have ever had, beleive me you won't be disappointed.

This is a great place to host your company event! I worked with Mina the Event & Operations Manager in March 2023 and she is exceptional. The Jewel is professional, quick to respond to inquiries, has delicious food in abundance, accommodating day-of staff, and an esthetically pleasing atmosphere to boot. I will be back for sure!

Having held several events at The Jewel Event Center I can say that each event was fantastic. From the planning to the execution, the team at The Jewel did not miss a step. The staff are professional and extremely knowledgeable in the event planning and delivery. The food selection was incredible and the taste was delicious. They were able to accommodate guest dietary restrictions without any issues. I will be returning to The Jewel for our future events.

The jewel has been so accommodating and helpful during this time of uncertainty while trying to plan an event during a pandemic.

We had our wedding here and other family events since. The food, owners, staff, and service are always great!

Myself and my family have held several of our events at the Jewel Event Center, this, I feel is a testament to the service provided and how much we enjoy holding our life milestones and celebrations at the venue. We've now had the pleasure of hosting an event in 3 of the halls that are available at the Jewel Center and have never had a single complaint or been disappointed. The food is amazing in quality, taste, quantity, and presentation. There is a good amount of variety for menu choices which allows you to be able accommodate just about any preference. The staff is always great and helpful whether it is during the set up, the actual event, or the end of the night they are always there for you. Lisa is incredible, and truly there to make sure your special event is everything you hoped it would be, she is understanding and accommodating, we really couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you to Lisa and all the staff at the Jewel Event Center for making yet another one of our special moments this past December perfect!

If i can, i wanna give 5+ ratings for this wonderful venue! Lisa was our manager and she was so accommodating! She tried to give the best of everything and provided so much for us! Some things were already there and we didnt have to prepare at all I cannot express more how kind and helpful all the staff were. Even the bartender was super fun to talk to and super energetic!

Our number one focus was FOOD and the vibe of the venue and Jewel got those two spot on! Especially the FOOD! I got sooo many compliments and good reviews on the food. I didnt see anyone who talked negative about the food. The seafood pasta was SO GOOD! We asked multiple times to make sure the steak comes out MR and they were! Guests were so happy the steak was delicious! It’s really hard for the venue or any caters to make steak good but Jewel! Guests gave so much good feedbacks on the steak.

And the POUTINE! The late night snack bar was absolutely amazing! Me and the groom was too busy to eat and i had just a single fries () but omg it was good! Im Sso sad i had no time to eat them! But my guests constantly came back to me and said the fries were amazing!

Their price is also reasonable. We got the open bar as well.

We have 0 disappointment with the venue.staff even helped us clean after the wedding. The fact they let you stay until 1am was also a plus point! Thank you so much Jewel!

Only one disappointment is that we were so busy greeting, following the sched, etc etc we had no time for finger foods (didnt even see them we were that busy- but everyone said finger food was great too), garlic focaccia bread pasta, steak ahh poutine! So sadddd i wanna go back and have them all

The Jewel made it easy for us to organize with lots of great suggestions and tastefully decorated. The food was really good (honestly better than I thought banquet courses would be e.g. Served hot and the meat was perfectly done) and the service team lead by Zamora did an excellent job.

Recently we organized a 50th Birthday and had it catered offsite by The Jewel Event Centre. The food and trays were packed meticulously, and arrived at our location piping hot. The servers that the hall sent to assist were gracious and professional. They plated and served the food to our guests, and cleaned up afterwards. We received numerous comments on the quality and freshness of the food, as well as the courteous servers. As a host, when you throw a party, the one thing you want most is to have your guests have a memorable time. Great food and good service is a large factor in having a successful event. We will definitely use The Jewel to cater our events again. Mille Grazie Lisa!

Our entire experience at the Jewel was amazing! We celebrated my parents' 50th Anniversary last Friday in the Opal Garden Room and it was SO beautiful! From the consultation to the food to the service we were very impressed. Lisa was very knowledgeable and helpful during the planning process. She is friendly and makes you feel comfortable while maintaining her professionalism. Our servers were great and attentive to our needs throughout the evening. We loved all the food! My favorite was the truffle and spec risotto and the ribeye steak, just phenomenal! Thank you to everyone at the Jewel for making it a wonderful and memorable celebration!

I hosted my spouses 50th Bday party at he Jewel Event Centre, the Leadership team right down to the servers and bar tenders were courteous, friendly and extremely accommodative to my guests. Food & beverage and the overall experience was nothing short of perfect!

We had an awesome engagement party hosted at the Jewel. The food and service was amazing. We had a nice clean space perfect size to accommodate our guests.

Great service from Lisa and her team, friendly staff able to accommodate last minute changes. Food was delicious and exactly what I was expecting. The room design what exactly what I was expecting and met all my needs for my bridal shower.
