The Kasbah Mediterranean

Appetizers, soup and salads were all fantastic. Entrees were good, but flavors in the seafood pasta didn’t pop like the rest. Large portions, great value! Felt more like a local place than a tourist trap.

I am so glad this restaurant is located no where near me — I would go broke eating here because I would want to go too often! It was sooo good and the service was excellent. The best Greek food since we ate in Greece. Fresh, tasty, and huge portions. We had the four course meal and had to take dessert home.

Beautiful restaurant with great service, food, and a stunning patio. Our server was amazing and one of our party was especially grateful at how well versed she was with dietary restrictions and which menu items were safe.

This restaurant is really inconsistent. Sometimes their food is amazing and other times, it’s just meh. The rice is my favourite and their baklava is huge. The decor and acoustics could use some work but the servers are lovely.

We came here for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Service was quick and our guests enjoyed their meal. Portion size was larger than we expected. Will return.

Waited over an hour for food to arrive. Everything including soup was served at lukewarm temperature. Grilled items were reheated and the meat was very poor quality. Veal chop was leather dry.
On the positive side, when we complained about the quality of food, they did not charge us for the Kasbah platter and the veal chop that were barely eaten and returned to them.

Our family had a great experience dining there. The food was very tasty. Above all the owner and restaurant employees were super friendly.

The kebabs were microwaved, that was not fresh, not matter if they said they made everything to order.

The falafel were literally not eatable.
And the worst of all is that our bill was 60$, but since we meda a reservation they charged us 15% gratuity (it is understandable) but the problem is that nobody said anything to us, when they brought the bill I gave 15% and after I paid, I checked the full bill and the gratuity was already included in the bill.
At the end we had paid close to 40% on tips, normally you should mention to the guests that if you take a reservation they will include the gratuity in the bill already, and the food is really not good, all the 6 adults were extremely disappointed, 2 of them are Armenians and I personally know Armenian food and I am not very difficult with my food, but unfortunately couldn't even eat this kebabs, I don't really know how come you can cook Greek, Armenian, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, just stick with one of them, not mix it up, especially if you don't know them very much.
It was so bad that my wife who loves sweets couldn't even eat the baklava they brought for her.
Extremely disappointed, actually I have never been this disappointed in my life with a restaurant, I really don't understand how come you can have so many 4 and 5 stars in your reviews.
Please save yourself some time and $ and go anywhere else but here, even the worst fast food will before authentic than this.

A hidden gem, as many have also said. Quality food at reasonable prices. Our waitress, Carrie, took care of us and recommended good options. We ate more than enough and didn’t waste any food. We had the grilled meal for 2 which could feed three!
The chef/owner came at the end to personally check out every table. We will be back!

First time coming here with family. This is a well designed restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Seems like you are dining in a foreign place, which I really liked.

The customer service is seven stars. Staff are so friendly. The owner even checked in on us. Even staff that were not catering to our table were thanking us for dining and asking us if we had a good experience.

We ordered the falafels and bruschetta for appetizers. Falafels were really delicious and well seasoned. Also tried the Armenian Pasta and chicken souvlaki which were very tasty. Well seasoned. Lamp chops and salmon were also delicious. They do serve halal meat for some of their items, which was great.

I would recommend people to come here and try it out. I would definitely return to try other options off the menu.

We visited the Falls in April and made a reservation at this restaurant. Excellent food and customer service! Athough my bf's pork was dry but everything else were very good, we liked their sauce so asked to exchange the sauce and they charged us but it was not much so it's okay. Definitely will be back next time!

DELICIOUS food, if your hungry eat it here, portions are good. Got family size 8 for 10 of us, and it was more than enough

Not recommended. Very overpriced and while the portions are decent, the food tastes microwaved and bland. I got the Kazbah platter, and the meat was chewy and tasteless. We also got a strawberry daquiri, which was just juice with with a faint inkling of alcohol somewhere in the background. There are also flies within the restaurant that ruin the ambiance. The whole atmosphere makes it difficult to eat here comfortably, and combined with the substandard food and outrageous prices, it is a place to be avoided.

Excellent food and great outdoor atmosphere. Ditch the tourist strip and take the 5 minute drive for a delicious Mediterranean feast.

We just ate at Kasbah Meditararean, and it was awful! I am no middle eastern, or meditararean, but I can appreciate a proper meditararean meal. For start we tried almost all of the appetizers. The falafel was so so, and the tahini sauce was very good. The kebeh was bland and left me feeling quite disappointed, and the calamari was oily and plain terrible! The mango margarita was salty and without any alcohol. The leak soup had clumps of potatoes and it was mild at best. The chicken tenders were done fairly well and the fries were excellent! The moussaka was a disaster on every level, it took one taste and my brain immediately rejected it. The lamb souvlaki was tender, but the accompanying rice was not warmed up well, and it was cooked too soft to begin with, the pita bread was edible and that is what I ate for dinner. I checked the reviews before making reservations, but the restaurant fell way too short for me. Kasbah meditararean needs a bit more training in the food prep department. Overrated and deeply disappointing. The waitress was excellent and the service was swift. We will not return ever again. Ever!

First time here and it was fantastic. Food was delicious! Can't believe the amount of food you get for the price. The staff is really friendly and our server was great. Will definitely be our go to place.

We were here to celebrate an occasion on Friday night had the four course pre-fixe dinner. The portion and flavours were good and authentic. My kid had the pepperoni pizza which according to him was the best of the best he had till now. The service was timely and good, at the same time discreet.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Weekend Special. Each of the four courses was delicious and the service was fantastic! So many excellent gluten free options as well which I appreciated.

It was a delicious meal! Two of us ordered the 4 course Greek dinner and one ordered a lighter meal. We all left full and very happy. The food was excellent. The service was attentive. The outside patio was confortable.

Great food, great service. They initially forgot to include cutlery in our order, but the manager promptly got cutlery delivered to us at our hotel. All 3 dishes ordered were delicious. I recommend trying this restaurant. A bit stingy with the protein though but it wasn't greatly missed.

It was a vegan night out and this place for the bill. It was really nice to get away from the tourist trap vibe. Portions were very generous, prices fair and service friendly. The food was anywhere between good and great - we tried a lot. Plus there’s a ton to choose from - pasta, vegan and veg options and plenty of meat and seafood. Free easy parking makes it a no brainer. Great spot for rowers to eat!

The service here is just insanely slow. They take forever to bring food and then when they do, a lot of the meat was cold. There was also complete indifference on part of the servers who just didn't seem to care or check on us when we were waiting for the order. I have no idea how this place has a 4+ rating.

Very very disappointed with this takeout!
We have been going to Kasbah for the last 5-7yrs and have had excellent food/service. Unfortunately, this takeout did not live up to the standards. The ratio of rice to the veg/potatoes is a joke! Was I to serve my guests 1 potatoe piece and 1.5 carrot? I feel like I paid for a tray full of rice with the chicken/beef souvlaki.
I had ordered this for p/u Oct 23rd - requested the Greek Family Dinner (4-6 #5)
There were 2 salads with this order too, but was missing the pita bread also!
And the Kasbah Combo Dinner 2 meals @ $25 each (requested only beef and paid the diff).

Vaughan, the owner, apparently was away. I spoke with Crystal who I believe was the stand in for Vaughan - when picking up order. I wish I had opened and checked my order prior to leaving.

I called and spoke with Jocelyn who offered more potatoes if I could come and pick up (that was impossible due to guests arriving and not going back 40min drive for potatoes! She apologized and would pass info onto Crystal!
That was the last I heard.
Btw the baklava? Was more of a pie with all that pastry, definitely not the traditional style!

Great service and prices. Large portions for what you pay for. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Also the cook/ perhaps owner came out and greeted us and was very nice and friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting to eat before seeing the Falls.

We had a lovely birthday dinner at the Kasbah, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for good Mediterranean food in the falls. The owner is kind and personable, he makes fantastic hot sauce as well (it's definitely got some heat, make sure you're ready!). Michelle gave us outstanding and memorable service.

We were 4 adults and a child last night. We all ordered different things and everyone absolutely loved their orders (my child had fries only - huge amount of fries for almost the same $$ as a small bag of fast food fries - and way better!). I ordered the saganaki for app and moussaka for main - omg best I've had! My husband had chicken souvlaki - he cleaned his plate and he LOVED the chicken. The server was very friendly and nice. The most important thing is the owner came to check in with us to make sure we were enjoying our food. Will definitely return! Thank you!

Worst food and service that I have ever experienced! My husband and I were visiting for a weekend getaway. Not from the area. Love Mediterranean food! So when we came across this place online … the menu looked fantastic! Our First sign should have been, how dark the outside was.no lights on and when coming inside it was gloomy. Second sign should have been the shape of the menus.all peeling and frayed. The restaurant was not busy and the service was slow. Waitress kept saying the kitchen is backed up… but barely any customers. Portions are so small … we ordered the mussels as an appetizer.they we’re ok. Not enough portion wise. Then had the Feast for 2. The Saganaki was so small, they give you one small Greek salad to share.then the souvlaki that came out had no flavour, dry, gyro meat cold and dry, the rice cold, vegetables shrivelled and cold, same with the potatoes, hard and cold. We barely ate any of it. The pita was not warmed up and was dry. When we told the waitress she didn’t even apologize or offer anything. When she brought out the balklava, it was not even edible… hard as a rock!
I will never go there again and highly don’t recommend it for anyone else!

We visited here for an early dinner on Saturday. We sat in the very large outdoor patio but they have lots of indoor seating as well. Great spot with excellent food; generous portions and good prices. They have a very large menu including a 4 course prix fixe offering. Our group had chicken souvlakI, fish & chips and veal parmesan. All cooked to perfection. Not much room for dessert but we split a few orders of chocolate molten cake with hot fudge and ice cream. So good. A must for anyone dining in Niagara Falls and looking for a great meal away from the main strip. We’ll be back.

A few days break in a Niagara hotel, with an agreement not to eat at indoor restaurant left us with many take-out options. Kasbah was a great choice! I enjoyed the Gnocchi Genoa with mushrooms, spinach, artichokes, garlic and marinara sauce. It came with a choice of salad (I chose caesar) and garlic bread. My partner enjoyed the lentil soup, a large Greek salad, and chicken skewers. All the food was hot and delicious - and delivery was free (over $20) so all we added was the tip! We'd certainly recommend this place - and try it again if we're ever in Niagara again. Next time I'll try the Gnocchi with gorgonzola - it was a close second!

We order from here often. Everything is always high quality, and cooked properly. I honestly believe you can not find better tasting potatoes or rice than at the kasbah. It is absolutely ridiculous how good they taste for such simple items. Eat here!

I wish I knew about this hidden gem on past trips to Niagara. Great food and beautiful patio. Service was a bit slow when we went to be honest but the server was very apologetic when she finally came to take our order. The food definitely made up for it and we had a great time.

After reading the reviews, we thought we'd give it a try. My friend and I shared "The Feast". The appetizer was half the portion size of a normal order and so were the desserts (the baklava was not edible). The main course were good.
