The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Brantford

- Went on February 13 sat in a booth in the bar area - understaffed at the beginning - I ordered the Sirloin Oscar - steak came without the toppings - I had to point that out they said it may be at the counter as a side. I have never had to assemble my own Oscar - not the same when they bring you the food items and you have to assemble it yourself Server said she punched it in correctly and the kitchen must have missed it - we go often and this one was very disappointing.

Went there for a late lunch on December 15 Love that they are open for lunch in December.
We were promptly greeted at the door and seated. Our server Dani was fantastic along with all of the other staff. It happened to be a special on Margaritas that day and they were made perfectly. The food was very good as well.
Great specials in the bar at certain times.
We will definitely be back

I wish I could leave more stars! We had the best experience tonight, the manager, our waitress Christine, the whole staff went over and above to make sure our boys and ourselves had the best time together and we did! Thank you’s again!

Service was always good, but been there two times in a row now where they messed up cooking a steak.

We ordered a medium and it came out bloody and cold. TWO seperate times! The second time they took it back and brought it back and it was still the same but more charred as they tried to reheat it.

The servers and the managers were nice and came to help with the situation, but in the end we came to eat and got disappointed.

Been going to The Keg for years now at other locations in the GTA with no issues ever, but this location has been off every visit so far.

WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST ANY KEG ASIDE FROM THIS LOCATION!

Develins & Speekezzies is a much better oprion for fine dining in Brantford

The absolute worst keg you could ever go to, if you wanted to attend a keg where you'd be treated properly the Hamilton locations are worth while. The Brantford Keg is run down, dark and a gross atmosphere to spend your time in. Let alone that none of the grill cooks know how to cook a steak aside from Chevron

First it was cold in there. The sourdough bread was cold.normally it's warm to hot.it was cold. Ordered medium wells steak that came very undercooked.not a fan of the veggies served either.overall it's been the worst experience at the keg so far

Another fantastic experience! My wife had the top sirloin, and I had a baseball top sirloin. Both perfect! Our server was great!

My husband and I visited The Keg at the Brantford location to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. It was a very busy night at the restaurant but Jackie, Tyler and Scott provided above and beyond service for my husband and I. They were very warm, polite, friendly, kind, made our evening very special and made it an unforgettable experience for us. We truly appreciate the above and beyond service they provided and the delicious food we were served. We will definitely be returning to the Brantford location soon. Big thank you to Jackie, Tyler, Scott and the rest of the team!

Had the surf & turf as usual and it was great. Our waiter was very attentive, apps and mains were served up hot and with good timing. A very enjoyable evening.

My husband and I were there for dinner last night. Our waitress Lindsay was absolutely amazing. The food was cooked perfectly and met my very picky standards by a landslide. However, I will say the service was the thing that stood out to both of us the most! Excellent job! Highly recommend!

Great place good location. Everything you’d expect from a keg anywhere but with a touch of Brantford. Would definitely ask your server about off menu classics, they do exist if you’re not privy to keg tribal knowledge. Been coming here since they opened I think 16 years ago? I’ve NEVER had anything but a good experience and never a single complaint. It’s location is good for travellers and locals alike, seconds from the 403 and most major hotels which are recognized by most large companies on account. Stop in and give it a try!

Perfect meal: 2 beers, 1 perfectly prepared Tuna Tartare for start and medium Prime Rib, unfortunately Prime Rib wasn't available today but the Rib steak was cooked ideal.
For desert excellent service!

Definitely not impressed! The only good things were the appetizers and Caesar Salad.

We came in with party of six under reservation.

The waiter was asked to bring Pepper (forgot it and we never received it, we ended up asking another server). We asked for a Pepsi from the server (waited ten minutes before we asked a gentleman who got the server to get it for us right away). The Pepsi was then sent back because it tasted like water twice. (We will be asking for it to be taken off the bill because it wasn’t drank.)

Ordered a Blueberry Lemonade - three people at the table tasted it as well to confirm that it had no flavour and tasted like just carbonated water. Was replaced with a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri (which tasted amazing compared to the Non Virgin).

My burger was dry and tasteless (a Big Mac tastes better). I’ll be going to McDonald’s straight after to finish up eating.

The birthday woman’s strawberry daiquiri was horrendous. However, her steak was good.

After not being here in years, and only coming because of a Birthday Party …. I would definitely not return in future.

We were also approached twice with Food for a different table.

Fantastic food and service. Jason, the kitchen manager, made our staff party experience at the Keg an amazing one. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our evening. The food was so good and of course dessert always gets special mention. Billy Miner pie, always. Our server was warm and friendly. He was exceptionally helpful with our questions.

Good experience at this location. Our server was very kind and attentive during our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our Calamari as well as our salads before our meal. We were a bit disappointed with our baseball sirloins for our main course. The menu says they can only be cooked to medium rare, but there was no pink in the steaks. The veggies and others side were delicious though:). We also very much enjoyed the Billy Minor Pie. The patio was great to sit on as well. Would go back again!

The manager of the restaurant reached out to us about our dining experience. I really appreciate the care they have for their customers to ensure everyone has a top notch experience. I would highly recommend this location. Updated my review from 4 to 5 stars.

2 year anniversary and Leah puled through with some excellent customer service. Highly recommend. Great food, good people, fun times.

Steak is always good there but i feel the prices have got a little high for what you get. $38 for a 3/4 lb steak and potato is a little much. I can but a top sirloin for under $10 and a potato is maybe $. 20. Thats quite a mark up if you ask me.

Worst piece of prime rib in my life. Best thing on the plate was the baked potato. Ladies bring a winter coat for inside. Good server, kitchen let her down.

Shanelle was wonderfull! Great service and great conversation! She even came running to bring the garlic bread that I forgot!

My partners favourite restaurant, we were there for his birthday. There was some confusion over who was to serve at our table but they made up for the error 10 fold with drinks and appetizers. Lovely meal, great service, thank you!

We had one of the best experiences of any restaurant at this location! This was our first time back since lockdown and they did not disappoint. Without prompting, they removed our apps from our bill just because our entrees were coming out close behind them. As well as offered free desserts. The manager came out as well just to apologize and make sure we were happy. We never complained once, and we’re just happy to be back, but this experience made it so much better. I will 100% be back to this location! Our waiter and the manager Jay were both absolutely fantastic!

Great experience, so nice to be able to visit The Keg again after so long. Very courteous and professional staff that follow all regulations to ensure a pleasant and safe dining experience. The food was as amazing as always and a great value.

Did the curbside pickup. The meal was brought out with the debit machine. The person bringing it was super friendly and engaged in some conversation. Great food, great customer service!

Took the wife here for a date on the first night of re-opened patios in Ontario. Ordered the pistachio-encrusted salmon filet with garlic mashed potatoes and a starter of calamari. Wife ordered the oven-roasted chicken. Food was all excellent - especially the calamari, which was incredibly crunchy. Service was reasonably prompt and staff were friendly. Patio area is quite nice. Room for maybe 12 tables, with umbrellas for shade and outdoor heaters. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.

Had the best experience last Friday! Big thanks to Jay one of the managers. I accidentally made a reservation for the Keg in Guelph. They were fully booked but Jay added an extra table to the patio from inside and made it work. That was so nice of him and the 4 of us had one of the best nights in a long time! Food was excellent as always and our server Shunire was amazing! Thanks for a great night!

We tried take out for the 1st time at The Keg Brantford and I have to say that I was very impressed. The food was well packed and delicious as usual. We had a 30 minute drive home and it was still warm. Adding their yummy bread with butter and their chocolate mints was a really nice touch. Good job!

Great experience. They're doing the social distancing well. It was easy to make a reservation online. Next time we will request a different area to be seated in however.

It was great to get out and just be able to enjoy a great meal at the Keg in Brantford. Service was top notch thanks to our server Justine. Great food and great service. I would definitely recommend going.

Our servers name was Justine and she was the sweetest person to greet us and we had a wonderful time laughing and chatting with her, the food was also very good and the wait times for the food were under 15 minutes

Phenomenal service. The Manager Jessie went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction after a small delay on our New Years take out orders. Although our order had been delayed on New Years we totally understood as the demand for take out that night was excessive. We never complained yet Jessie took the time to call everyone that ordered that night. He insisted on offering us a full credit even though we were okay with the delay. He then personally followed up with us. Amazing service! Have to give the Keg and Jessie a perfect 5 Star review especially considering the challenges they face delivering food during COVID. Cheers.

It was so nice to get out again after being shut-in for so long due to Covid. The patio was a great place to spend the evening with family. Customer service and food was excellent as was the ambiance. Very nice clean restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back!

I recently posted a one star review due to an issue since then they got in contact resolved the issue and sent a personal handwritten note they truly go above and beyond when there is and issue thank you!

Ordered just now for take out on New Years. Meal was an hour late, despite booking online in advance. To make matters worse the entire meal was cold. Good job ruining our New Years dinner. Next time don't overbook if you can't meet demand!

Went to this location for a friend’s birthday. Nice a clean. Roomy booth. Lots of parking.

The service was excellent. I wish I could remember the name of the server. Refills for my pop came fast. Couldn’t drink as I had to drive back to London.

All 4 of us were very happy with our meals. I had the NY Peppercorn medium rare with a twice baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly.

They gave us a large piece of Biily Miner pie for the birthday dessert. Excellent as well. Nice location.
