THE STEAKS WE FOUR HAD WERE VERY RUBBERY AND HARD TO CUT WITH THEIR STEAK KNIVES. THE COLOUR OF THE STEAKS WERE WHAT WE ORDERED BUT ALL WERE TOUGH AND VERY CHEWY. THIS WAS DEFINITELY NOT AAA BEEF, NOR AGED.
DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE. SHOULDN'T BE TAKING SHORTCUTS ON WHAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE YOUR SIGNITURE PRODUCT.

The steak is somewhat Ok overall. For its price point, I would not say its value for your money. My rib steak is average ok, my wife though is unhappy with her Prime Rib (more like boiled meat according to her).

Besides the starter salad which is good, there’s not much good to remember about our dining experience.what we can remember the most is the service… the terrible service.

The waiter doesn’t seem to have the basic training of serving in a restaurant - don’t know how to serve wine, handling knife wrongly, very confusing to talk to when taking order, unfriendly…. A big let down on what otherwise would have been a nice evening with the family.

"Worst The Keg Experience Ever - Stay away from this location"
I am a The Keg fan but I am extremely disappointed with the awful experience I had with my family tonight.
Everything was bad from the time we sat down. Wednesday night and there was a bit of line up so we decided to sit at the lounge area, went with my husband and my 2 kids.
1 and a half hours to get our food: (
We ordered right away as we knew what we wanted. I asked the server to bring my kids food ASAP as it is a week day and they were tired. Also ordered Wine for me and juice for them. Had to remind the server a few times about my wine, their apple juice and also the bred that was taking forever. After multiple follow ups about the food, over an hour in, we received 3 of our dishes but my 9 years old did not get her food, we had to start eating and when we were half way eating, they finally brought her food. She couldn't even eat our food as she is Celiac.
I was planning on having dessert but my kids were almost falling asleep so I asked for the bill. I told our waitress a few times about how slow things were and that the service was not good, she simply said she was sorry but they had a large party and were busy. Not my problem I would say, if you guys cannot handle a busy Wednesday, then close your doors and don't accept more customer.
Waitress said she was sorry and that she would talk to her manager and she would come talk to us. Never showed up! Also, I ordered the kids meal that also comes with dessert and they didn't care about asking or bringing my kids dessert. I paid and didn't get the full meal.
At the end after asking a few times, she brought the bill and said that I could take a complimentary desert home. What a joke! Of course I said no.

VERY VERY disappointed and would not come back to this location. You guys should learn how to treat your customers better.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting this location. I really enjoyed my Bday dinner at The KEG. Prime example of Great Customer Service was delivered by Anthony, the server who went above & beyond. The food wasenjoyed by me & my guest (except the mash potatoes, it was pasty)

Server comes around asking and waiting for more tip! Even after tipping over $50. Pay staff more or accept the tip given, don’t walk up to customers and ask for more

Great service - server was fantastic and was extremely engaged. Food tasted great and came out within a reasonable time. Atmosphere was a bit dark, but manageable.

The server was exceptionally. Couldn't have asked for anything else. When you talk about service, you have to go to this keg to see what service is like. Thank you, Daniel

This was my first time visiting this location. First table offered was wobbling a lot but we were given another table, on request. The service was generally acceptable, but a bit slower at times. The food was good. The Caesar salad was a very generous portion and very tasty. My NY striploin was cooked perfectly. The twice baked potato could have been a little bit hotter temperature-wise. Enjoyed the mini crème brûlée. Compared to Keg experiences at other locations in the GTA, this one was not quite as good. However, this location has potential.

Great cocktails and great steak, as can be expected from The Keg. Filet was made exactly as ordered, temperature was on point, and the whole meal was great tasting from beginning to end.

This location has been around for a few years now but it was our first visit and it won't be our last. We found the atmosphere at this location to be better than other locations and of course the food is on par with The Keg's standards. Get there early or make reservations because they were super busy.

Enjoyed an early birthday dinner with the family at this location.

The service was amazing and the food was even better.

We enjoyed the steaks, twice baked potatoes and the seasonal veggies.

We also got the amazing BILLY MINER PIE which I definitely recommend!

You should also call in and see if they’re busy before you go!

Took about 40 minutes to clean someone else's table, ordered food and a drink, drink came fast, appetizer came as promised, now watching them talking to other customers and taking shots is ok, but what about customers, some get their bread faster then others can get their beer. Music atmosphere is awesome, the way it supposed to be. Perfect not loud beats. I think this pace needs more coordination between bartenders and weitresses and kitchen and floor managers. It ain't Olympic size pool restaurant. Still waiting on my sirloin steak after 45 minutes wait Already.oh yeah by the way. I am still waiting on my second drink. (10 minutes since they asked me for it). What's funny, that floor manager still talking to same group of people for about 30 minutes now. A good manager won't do that. By the way, a dirty table Infront of me they just dusted off with hand and seat new customer. 15 minuts to get a second drink. And weitresses brings me a sharp knife that's it, nothing else. No drink no food. And it's been 10 minutes already. By the way, non of the tables that left been wiped or cleaned with some sort of disinfectant spray. Food is very tasty, but they don't give you salt or pepper even. I make sure other people won't come here for just food. Drinks sure. But not restaurant experience.

The 20oz rib steak which I ordered to be a medium rare was overcooked to medium. For a AAA steak I was surprised to find sinew. The garlic mashed potatoes and the vegetables were on point and the button mushrooms were well cooked. The waiter was really nice and accommodating.

We sat in the back area where things were a lot more calm and that was a really nice experience. It was a lot more enjoyable to be able to talk with our group over dinner without having to yell over others, etc.

Tip section: forgot to ask.

Not coming back to this location anymore! $50 tip was not enough for our waiter, so he decided to turn his back and not greet us back when we're leaving. Shame on you!

You can always count on the Keg to go above and beyond with service and the food. Our server was outstanding, friendly and always on the ball. He was always available if we needed him. The food was and always is hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. The steak was mouthwatering, the sides homemade, what more can you ask for. This location is outstanding and I'll be back again and again. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with anything you need.

My partner and I always have great experiences at The Keg.

Yesterday night was no different.

We went to celebrate her birthday and had a great time.

The staff were skilled, attentive, and friendly - the pre-meal bread was warm and soft, and our meals came out exactly as we ordered them, cooked to perfection, within a timeline that was reasonable for a busy seating time.

We had a great booth that allowed us to have conversation while enjoying the ambiance.

As always, The Keg made our celebrations special and we will definitely be back, this time saving more space for the Billy Miner Pie which we unfortunately couldn't finish, and it probably wouldn't have survived the drive home.

Not the best keg experience I've had. Been to many different ones in and around Toronto and I've come to expect a certain level of service from keg franchises. This one seems to miss the mark. I'll give it another try. Could've been a off night.

I have always enjoyed The Keg across the country. This one was very disappointing. The waitress asked what we were celebrating and it was my friend's birthday. No birthday cake at the end.

The service was 5 star, the food was 5 star. My family brought me there for my birthday. They kept the cake in the back and surprise me at the end of my dinner. At the end me and my family leave the restaurant happy and full. We even had alot of left overs. I offered our waiter a slice of my cake and he accept it. So I gave him nice slice. Overall we had fun

Awful. 8 oz is really 3 oz. Twice baked rock hard, veggies raw. Food sent back. Kitchen manager comes with a hard attitude and is very argumentative. Birthday people weren't able to eat together. Server incompetent Don't come here. I did 3 times and it's a regret. Never again. I want a refund.

This is the worst keg meal I have ever had. For anyone who knows how to cook you could tell the twice baked potatoes and vegetables were pre cooked well in advanced from the texture/dryness of them. They must just keep them "warm" for their busy evenings. The prime rib had more fat then there was meat. Ordered a 14 oz prime rib and 6 oz of that was pure fat. Both steaks were not cooked to request. We were served both of our meals at the same time with 1 knife provided to us. There was no available staff to assist, or to bring us cutlery. Waited 15 minutes before being able to get someones attention to request cutlery. It took one hour to receive cold food, the worst quality food i have ever had. Save your money - make a better meal at home.

It was really good quality food with good presentation. I must say they have an edge over others. They served freshly prepared bread, calamari, and garlic cheese toast. We were three friends. One ordered blackened chicken, Keg ceaser, and one ordered vegetable meatloaf. But the vegetable meatloaf was something new to us, full of flavour. I would say it's good for Asians to try who prefer vegetarian. It was full of flavour, better than other main dishes.

Food was good, service was pretty bad - waited 20 mins for bill after finishing meal. Despite asking 3 different people for the bill - ended up just going to the front and paying.

Overall great experience! Great service, my steak was on point and even got an early birthday cake.

Me and my husband just came here today (28 aug) at 4.40pm and had a very bad and disappointed experience in this location. Our waiter’s name is Dan. He had a unfriendly attitude with us. I guess because we are immigrants and not good at English speaking. He didn’t smile at all with a cold face. When I asked him a box to take out, he basically threw it at me in my sitting (not put the box in my table). Then we asked a bill, he just fold the receipt, gave it without communicating and then gone? We’ve been the kegs so many time at 927 dixon and had great experience there because of friendly staffs. This is the 1st time we have visited this location and felt being treated discriminated. Never ever we go back here again.

Food is always good, and management will go out of their way to ensure it is. Service is fantastic, super friendly and engaging. Very well layed out with nice views and atmosphere.

If I could rate this lower than 1 star I would. I am currently waiting for my food and we got here at 7 pm. Our server forgot our appetizer, and since the time we ordered our mains, it’s been an hour. Got half out food, but not all of it haha. Better off ordering from Uber Eats.
10/10 would not recommend.

My daughter celebrated her bday with a group of friends and the staff made it memorable. The food was delicious.

Amazing Service! We had the opportunity to have Christian as our server at your location and I am beyond impressed by his kind nature and incredible service. Wonderful smile and a great face for the business. Will be coming back for our next anniversary.

I noticed there are tons of usher but not so much servers. As much our server is excellent, he seems like he is taking care of too much tables and he doesn’t really visit our table that often.
