The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Aurora

Great place to have dinner with friends! Food is always pretty good. The escargot and the fresh bread are the best appetizer. The calamari is going down hill, they are adding lots of preppers and jalapenos and the calamari is overcooked. Food is getting very expensive, one steak for 60 is a bit too much, plus a glass of wine and dessert you end up paying 200 for two!

It was a busy night but I managed to sneak into the bar area and get seated right away. Perks of eating alone sometimes! My food was hot and fresh! My drinks were refilled quickly.

I love the keg in general. The Aurora location is always accommodating, the food and service is always on point

This is one of our favorite restaurants, we enjoy the food and atmosphere very much, usually we have a wonderful time and receiving great service. Unfortunately on our last visit, we had a very moody waiter, who had lots of attitude, we didn’t take it personally at first, until we felt, his attitude was mostly towards us not to other table. Just the way he throws the bill on the table at the end, completed his bad service. I understand people can get tired, but we spend a good money at this type of restaurant, we deserve to have a good time rather than dealing with a unhappy person who ruin our happy feelings too with his negativity. I hope the management train their staff and if necessary give them break so they won’t take their problems onto their customers. I must say his behavior caused us not to tip him as good as we normally do, hope he understands the massage and correct himself.

A chewy New York Peppercorn Steak and a very average filet mignon was what we got. The server, though, was very nice and made the disappointment regarding the food less bothersome.

The Keg is a favourite for special occasions like birthdays or graduations. If you’re coming here might as well get a steak - they’re amazing every time! Billy Miner Pie is the favourite for dessert (it’s an ice cream cake, not so much a pie). Of course the atmosphere, service, and cleanliness is as good as you might expect from a higher-end restaurant.

Had our first dine in meal with 100% seating capacity. It’s was really busy but the staff did a great job. Meal and service was great. We were a party of 10 and there was a group beside us with more than 20. Every table was occupied, it was a bit odd being back at 100% seating capacity, it was crowded. However service was great and would definitely recommend this location.

We had a family takeout and it was absolutely perfect! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! Staff and service is wonderful! It's always a treat to get Keg Aurora!

Went tonight for my wife's birthday amazing service right from the start, lady was going threw the line to ensure everyone in the line had vaccine passports. Then was ask to scan contact tracing. We got our seat in the corner as per my reservation request. Service was great, food was great was a amazing night out.

Although there was a long wait, it was well worth it for the wonderful service and delicious meals. Our favourite place to get steak and the calamari, shrimp and lobster were fantastic as well. We will definitely be coming back and trying more off the menu!

Steak is good appy the mushroom Neptune was on the bland side and wasn’t hot enough, some got the runs but the steak was tender

Dropped by Saturday evening. Had steak and garlic mashed potatoes and a rum and coke. I normally eat at various keg locations so I have an idea of the standard. The steak was perfect medium rare but the flavor just wasn't the same. The rum and coke barely had any rum. But the service was great, the staff was attentive and helpful. It was extremely busy so maybe the kitchen was under pressure that night.

I understand about how the Pandemic hindered & changed Service. (Been in Customer Service most my life) However the signs might say "We are Happy to have you back" but definitely some staff didn't appear soo happy! Especially Hostess/Seating front desk. I guess it doesn't matter anymore if it's your Birthday and took the time to dress up. The appetizers were not worth it. The meal was good. The Escargots are not in Whole Mushroom caps only half a mushroom with no cheese a snail in the bottom & in oil. Some things tasted precooked. Disappointed.

Nicoletta, Our server went above and beyond. She was so pleasant. After not being able to go out for over a year she made our night most enjoyable. Thank you.

Made our reservatiion they have us waiting for over 30 mins called the newmarket keg they took us in right away and were much more hospitable and kinder than the hostesses at the aurora keg. They should definitely reconsider who they have working at the front.

An absolute outstanding experience. I was recently diagnosed Celiac and finding a place where I can go to enjoy has been a very big struggle. My mother and I traveled from Guelph for work and we decided to check the Keg and see if they had gluten free options. I was amazed when the hostesses and manager let me know there was a menu and many options! They even assured me that everything would be checked by the manager herself. I was beyond amazed! When we were seated we were served by Terry. Terry provided the most amazing service, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my safety and making sure we had an extremely enjoyable experience. The plating and food was amazing. I was enjoying my meal on a whole other level and appreciation, so much so I closed my eyes to take in the moment. Thank you Terry, the kitchen, the hostesses and management for your outstanding efforts. You truly don't know how much last night meant to me.

To the kitchen, I know how difficult this must have been to make sure that I was safe. I can't thank you enough for all your care and efforts. I didn't get sick at all! And that's because of your amazing line and their compassion.

This location is absolutely ridiculous an organized. They need to have a new manager to handle the service better in front.

The worst keg. Sent my steak back twice here. I asked for blue cheese crusted steak they sent me a regular steak then they came back with a new one it was well done steak and I asked for medium originally. How can you mess up two steaks? I sent back my dinner twice to a point I didn’t even eat and went home. Terrible experience look at the reviews and be the judge…

I would give them zero if I could. Apparently they do not understand what reservation means. Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode involving a rental car. Oh and as far as any sort of plan for arrival at the resturant goes, and lineup management, they completely failed and did not meet public health standards. I would encourage further investigation into their lack of covid protocols.

Always a lovely experience at the Aurora location! Steak was cooked perfectly, super juicy and delicious. Paired the filet mignon with garlic mash and jumbo grilled shrimp, so good! Amazing service as well, very friendly and polite!
