The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Hamilton Mountain

Our server Kaylee was a complete standout! We have been to many of the Keg locations over the years, and Kaylee, by far, exceeded all of our experiences!

Pre Christmas dinner for 2. The restaurant was very loud with large groups.we should have expected.
Table service attentative. Food very inconsistent. Both ordered same strip loin special. One was very good. The other mostly inedible. Received free dessert as compensation.

Food was so delicious. Steak very tasty, cooked perfectly. You have to try Chicago Cooking, best seared flavour. Service was awesome as always.

We went there for steak dinners. We end up having the baseball steak and a 10 ounce fillet mignon. Bottle of wine I ordered medium well, but my fillet mignon came out bloody the side. Vegetables were undercooked, mashed potatoes, were cold fillet mignon was not fillet mignon.
No bacon wrapped around it and it was too thin to be fillet mignon but Took it home and a doggy bag and fed it to our pet dog. You were very busy so I did not want to complain about my meal because it was not the waiters fault.

Andrew was an excellent server and the steaks were delicious. Busy time so it was somewhat loud but tolerable.

I found the food and the staff here at The Keg to be exceptionally remarkable in their customer service. Special mention to General Manager Jeff Cowpertgwaithe who went the extra mile in making sure I am a satisfied customer when he righted the billing error and handled my request wonderfully. So if you’re looking for great food, service and a relaxing ambience, The Keg is the place to go.

We made a reservation, when we got there we were told our table will be ready in a few minutes so we sat down…. They literally forgot about us, about a half an hour later my boyfriend asked the host what was up and she realized she had forgotten and given out table to another person- we watched people walk in and get a table yet we still waited. Our server Shea was absolutely amazing, seems he was the only one who cared about us tonight.

Great server and food was amazing as usual. However louder than previous when we were there.

Even though I dined alone, they took excellent care of me. Delicious as always - actually even better than it usually is - had a great visit!

The food at this keg location is always amazing. But I want to focus this review on the amazing server we had. Blaise was the best server we have had at any dining experience ever. He was quick and always checking in. He almost made the keg experience make it feel like you are at one big family gathering. He was so personable and funny and all around just made the dining experience 10/10. I can safely say this was the best dining experience we have had.

From the time I ordered to picking curb side I had amazing service. Thank you to Riah for her friendly service on the phone. Looking forward to when we can eat inside.

We ordered our Covid-19 Anniversary dinner and it was perfect. Hot and filling. We would recommend the Keg Steakhouse and can't wait to visit them in person soon. Thank you!

Ordered Take-out for my Covid birthday dinner tonight and I have to say everything was perfect! The food was so delicious and everyone complemented on the Quality for take-out! Service was fast and on-time for pick-up. Will definitely be ordering take-out again. Thanks again

Should have written this review a long time ago. The food is always perfectly cooked and what we just ate was nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend this location even for take out during COVID 19

Finally tried takeout and they did not disappoint. We got meals from the classic menu which included salads and choice of side along with vegetables. Delicious and hot. Made my mom's pandemic BIRTHDAY extra special!

The family ordered takeaway tonight and we picked it up. We ordered a variety, steak, lobster, hamburger and salads.
First off the meal was outstanding!

The way they package up there take out is amazing! Foil bag, metal containers, moisture absorbers I think and I have to say it makes a huge difference. The hot and cold foods were separate from each other. They take care. Normally when you take home any meal it's soggy, cold, and all around less impressive versus dine in.

Not this place, your meal tastes extlactly the same as dine in! Steaks were warm cooked to perfection, salad was cold and crisp still, bread was still warm and fresh not soggy, even the whipped butter was intact. Even our icecream cake was still cold!

I never tried takeout from the keg before. I wasn’t really sure how it would turn out. Just as hot and fresh as it would’ve been if you’re in the restaurant. Incredible.

I ordered a wonderful meal for my husband's birthday and picked it up curbside. Everything was prepared to perfection and they even included all the condiments for the potatoes and the butter for the lobster tail. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I went here with a party of 4 for my mom's birthday. Food was excellent and our server, Robin, was very fast, funny, and knowledgeable. Thanks again

This restaurant provides excellent service as well as tasty food. One of my favourite spots ever. The food and drinks served fast and the prices were fair. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Order for Valentine's day and they did an outstanding job very simple communication and when receiving food was package very good i was surprised to get home and the bread was still warm very impressed and will be ordering again!

Ordered takeout, great service, easy to order, fast at the restaurant. Packed expertly, hot stuff was hot and cold stuff was cold after driving home.

We attempted to order online from this location for dinner on Sunday, placing the online order Friday evening. All seemed to go well and I received confirmation of my online order through an email. On Sunday morning, I received an email notification that my order had been cancelled for some reason, at this time I ordered online through another Keg location, later Sunday morning I received another email from the Hamilton location telling me my original order would be ready for pick up at the time requested and placed on Friday evening. I called the Hamilton Location and spoke with Jeff/Geoff who informed me this problem occurs and he'd correct it with his IT department. I apologised to him that I had to place the original online dinner order with another Keg location and to avoid confusion about why I wouldn't be showing up to collect the order from their location. Hopefully, I'll be able to order from Hamilton again now that this glitch can occur with online ordering. Some takeout menu items are $1 more at this location compared with other Keg locations.

We wanted something special for greeting 2021. We thought that the Keg is a great restaurant so why not order food to pick up. We were surprised on how good it was. There was a prix fix menu for new years and we selected the Filet, Lobster, Caesar Salad, twice baked potatoes and Billy Miner cake. It was just as good as eating it in the restaurant. The food was very easy to pick up. They had a great system. It was so nice to enjoy a meal like this even though we brought it back home. We loved it.

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars as the customer service here is exceptional. The manager Jeff is very understanding when our order was not up to par and rectified it right away in a polite and courteous manner. I will be back to try here again!

Ordered takeout steak dinner for my mother in law as a special treat for her birthday. Excellent job friendly curb side pickup and delicious hot meal cooked exactly as ordered

We had take away for a special occasion and I was skeptical. However, The Keg has a better system for food packaging than most of the non-traditional take away restaurants. The meat was cooked to perfection despite the travel time to arrive on our table.

We did curbside pick-up for my wife's birthday and it was delicious! Great experience at this location and will continue to be back. Staff are friendly and the food is top notch. The prime rib is melt in your mouth delicious, but they also offer kid friendly options as well. I recommend you try this place!
