I’ve dined at The Keg restaurants for many year, always our go to place for celebrations. Last night my table 3 out of 4 ordered prime rib. Always been impressed until now, the meat seamed to have the appearance of being under a warning element. The texture was dry, the meat wasn’t juicy and lacked the normal flavour. But, that being said, everything else was excellent. Must have been due to the late hour and how busy it was. I think the server might have been aware, due to thee fact he never asked how the meal was, my mistake I normally would say something. Hopefully I’ll try the prime rib again. I will still go back, to many good meals.
Amazing dinner. This is the place to celebrate we celebrated our anniversary and the food, service, and drinks were amazing! I was so glad to go to this location while the Burlington one is under renovation. Definitely worth it!
Normally - Keg is very reliable. This location is not. I’ve found that they rush you out, they seat preferentially and are unable to ask for basic things like: how would you like your steak? By far, the worst experience was this evening where the server was clearly finishing their shift and was nowhere to be found.
Traditionally the Keg is always fantastic for food. But what sets this Keg apart, is the incredible people working here. They are fun, Whitty and truly understand that guest come to dine for the experience. Not just to eat. Amazing job done by all!
I have visited the Keg a dozen times and the steak was one of the best experiences. Service was really ok and only twice were we sitting. Overall a 4 and i would go back. Was not too busy so that might have helped
The Keg at Waterdown is exceptional of its customer services. Stacy was amazing, very welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent. The sirloin steak was cooked as requested. The Lobsters were at the dry side but still delicious. The twice baked potatoes are delicious. The bread is so fresh and served steaming hot. I actually asked for a second serving! The caramel ice cream pie (Billy Miner Pie) was the best finale. Great experience!
Typical keg experience, everything was clean, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I played dinner roulette and ended up with the Waterdown Special. I left extremely satisfied!
Our first visit to the Waterdown location and it won't be the last! Logan, our server, was very attentive and very professional. The food was excellent. This will be our go-to location going forward!
Awful experience. Went for our anniversary had to send back my prime rib twice and it still wasn’t cooked. Manager refunded me for my prime rib but wouldn’t say the customer service was overly friendly. Left with a bad taste in my mouth and a empty stomach.
Everything was great, except group of people.woth preschool children and no discipline arrived. We moved inside away from them and continued our good experience with the food and staff.
The Keg Waterdown is really a top notch restaurant for great food and great experience. Very consistent food and service with every visit. This location is MUCH nicer than the other Kegs in Hamilton or Burlington area. Worth the drive for sure.
Amazing dining experience! Attended The Keg in Waterdown for my son's graduation. Samantha our server was friendly and exceptional. Our meals were fantastic. Highly recommend The Keg in Waterdown!
Service by our waitress Chrystal was excellent! The atmosphere was great. Food, especially for the price, was just so so. The Calamari was disappointing. It included battered red peppers and jalapeños.for some reason? The 2 little bowls with sauce were so small you could barely get Calamari in to dip. It included a spoon too big to fit in these bowls so you couldn't put sauce on your side plate. The 14oz prime rib was 1/3 fat.but very good and nicely done. The steak was cooked as ordered and pretty good. I tried both my wife's (a little fatty and tough) and our daughter's. I must say the steaks at Chucks are much more tender, fat-free, and tastier by far! And half the price! This might sound petty, but the dinner plates' shapes were strange. If you were to place your steak knife properly on the edge, it would fall off and slide into your dinner. You had to put the handle on the table and the blade on the plate. Baked potato and mushrooms were great. Water was good, a full flask with ice. Billy Miner was great and free promo for our birthday girl! Very nice! I was also surprised how poorly dressed most people were. T-shirts, blue jeans, running shoes and caps.we could have been at Chucks. I have been to the Keg probably 50 times over many years, and have loved it, always very special, but now in no hurry to return. Value is sadly not what it used to be, in my opinion.
Been here several time before the food this time was disappointing the baked potato was the smallest I'd ever seen and my steak not only was not cooked the way I ordered it but was tough
Went to this location for my birthday dinner and had such an amazing experience.will definitely come back to this location again.service was great and food was excellent.
