The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Windsor Riverside

Consistency is the best way to describe the Keg. Every time I have been here the food has been cooked perfectly and the service has been on point. What sets this Keg apart from the rest is the beautiful location along the waterfront. The space is quite large, but is the perfect size no matter if you're coming for a date or a group event and you've booked a private room.

We celebrated our parents' 38th wedding anniversary at the Kegs 50th anniversary. It's always been an amazing 5-star experience at the Keg. They never disappoint with their blue cheese filet mignon steaks and twice baked potato. They offer free parking in the garage nearby if you bring your parking voucher to The Keg front desk after your meal. Make sure they scan it for you afterwards, instead of giving you a new one.

I had the best steak dinner of my life at the Keg. It was absolutely phenomenal and I don't say that lightly. The staff were all extremely helpful and polite. It was packed, but we were able to sit at the bar and got pur food quicker than I expected. 10/10

Honestly, when we arrived, it seemed nice, but the longer we stayed, the worse off it got, we got our appitisers taken my a lady who wasn't even our server it seemed like they didn't really care for Americans even tho we tried our best to be extra social and friendly the table was wobbly we had to ask for refills I don't know if that's coustom or not in Canada felt like we was being stared at tho I will say that closer to the end of dinner I felt like the staff opened up a little more minus the manger he was friendly and social the first time we met him they did give us a free desert due to us being there for our 5 year anniversary, mashed was not the best in my opinion and my wife asked for no veggitables but they brought it anyway the beat part was the steak this is my experience and is based on how I felt and my opinion

I decided to take the wife for a nice evening out, and it was the best dining experience we have had in years! We are vegetarian and the menu has many options if you are looking for fine dining in Windsor. Our server Brandon, I kept calling him Brian (sorry man) was amazing and did his due diligence making sure what we ordered was vegetarian, the wife wanted a spicy margarita and was not disappointed! From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was well done! I will be coming back soon! Thank you to the kitchen staff, hostesses, and our incredible server Brandon for the lovely experience!

Steak and lobster are all over cooked. Steak is no flavour but only very salty. Price and food do not match. I can cook steak at home better than they did.

I booked an outdoor patio table on Saturday for my sisters birthday. Our waitress was so slow after being seated 10 minutes later so came by took our drink order. We ordered a bottle of wine and shared it and was almost done before she came back to take our orders. My daughter ordered chicken and she said it was so salty and lots of butter on it. We asked for more bread and never got it.
She never offered the cake for bday we had to ask. I usually love the keg but it wasn’t up to par that night.

It was our first time at the Keg Steakhouse and it won't be our last.

First, it's in a beautiful location and if you are seated outdoors you will enjoy the beauty of the riverfront while you dine.

Inside, the service is impeccable. From the moment you walk through the entrance, you are greeted with smiles and a service staff that are near and will dressed.

For the experience, I expected to pay at least 30% more than we did for restaurants in this category. I found them quite affordable.

The food was a "solid good. " It was cooked, presented, and seasoned well. There wasn't anything that we felt was so delicious, we will order it again when we are back. But it was our first time, and it was just my husband and I.

We are excited about coming back again for the experience with this beautiful restaurant and top notch staff.

When we made our reservations, we wote about my husband's egg and tree nut allergies. And when we got there, our wait staff Mo, went above and beyond to make sure my husband knew exactly what he could order.

We spent $131 CDN, without drinks.

I took my daughter here for her 19th birthday. The food and service were excellent. The waitress gave us a free dessert for my daughter. Excellent overall!

Haven’t been here in Years. Moe was absolutely outstanding, even my guest was impressed with him.

When you ask for a glass of dry red you assume it’s a house ($7-$12) and not a $25 glass of wine. Very deceiving and will never go back. Been going since I can remember and this definitely seals the deal. The waitress knew exactly what she was doing.

I went here on Saturday night to dine with a few of my friends. Service started out really well. Appetizers and Caesar salads came out promptly. I had the lobster bisque which was tasty. My friends had the stuffed mushrooms and escargot. They both stated their appetizers were tasty as well. My friend was underwhelmed by her chicken entree and it was pretty small. Another friend stated there lobster was over cooked. I had the peppercorn steak which was tasty and the twice backed potato was a 3/5 for me. Overall it was a decent experience but I’d only go back with a small group since service was a bit slow.

I had a fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious, The staff was attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to visit!

I recently visited The Keg and was going there to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant atmosphere was great but the service was sub par. She was nice but didn’t take her time to actually talk to us. Also I requested an end of the meal birthday cake, once when making the reservation and another time just before our meal. We did not get the cake as requested. I had very high hopes for this dine in experience but could of have gone much better. Food was good.

Service and food was great! Our server Brandon was so patient and kind. He provided excellent service for our large party. Definitely will be back
