We had an Amazing Eve on Saturday Feb 18th.

It's hard to find a good bar in New Market, either overpriced, overcrowded or full of hipsters, the Lion is none of that id go again, 5 stars

Love this place.always great people.great band's.love watching the hockey games there.great service and the wings make me want more lol

Large group went to this pub unannounced and the staff accommodated us all in a timely fashion. Never complained once!

I would give a 4 stars if it wasn't for the live band they had on New year's night.
We had to leave earlier than planned.

Ez best wings in newmarket. Half price after 9pm. Hard working kitchen staff too and all of the servers are really nice. I'd give it five stars but it's just a little dead sometimes. Then again that could also be considered a good thing tho

Half off wings after 9: 00pm you can never go wrong. Sometimes I forget to take the pic before I eat lol!

They have a great beef dip sandwich here, and their fries are really good too.
Going to go back and try more foods

So I ordered food from this place for delivery that everyone tells me is so good, I haven't had Shepards pie and I only got a half cup of meat and vegetables.the mac and cheese was very cold and so was the container it came in. The dessert was great and I love their fries.

Disappointed.
Food was cold and dry (I live 5 minutes away and there’s no way everything would get this cold this fast). Fish and chips had no tartare sauce, garlic bread had barely any garlic and was very dry. Taste is mediocre.

Nice local pub with a decent selection of beer on tap. Do yourself and favour and order the nachos with chili.you will thank me.
