Absolute favourite spot for Persian style kebabs in the York Durham region.
We frequent this place for take out and they have a great selection. The “family meals” are a great value and comes with the meat, rice and choice of salad or soup + crispy rice.
The family Meals are great for when you have a crowd over. And the portions are generous.
All the kebabs (beef and chicken) are all fantastic and we love the crispy rice served with the meals.
Service is basic and sometimes it’s hard to order over the phone depending on who answers but we always get fast friendly service when we go to pick up our meals.

Food was fine. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches with pop. Advertised price was 10.99. I got charged 27.91. I asked and was told it was plus tax. Didnt pay a second thought until later. Add 13% to 22 and you get 24.86. Not sure what the additional 3 bucks was for. The receipt just shows total with no breakdown. Transparency in pricing and billing goes a long way. They probably have a loyal clientele already but would be difficult to convert new customers to repeat customers if you are left with a feeling of being overcharged.

Very delicious kebabs. Lots of burnt rice pancake and rice was tasty. Lentil soup was also very good.

Yesterday, I ordered the party package#1 (for my Muslim family who came from Vancouver to attend a funeral) because I needed a variety of great halal food, fast, and a lot of it. I went with this restaurant because they highly recommended this restaurant at my work place and because they offered party packages which is rare.

It was ready on time, wrapped up real well, easy to pick up and load in the car, there was plenty of food for everyone, it was hot and ready to serve, and it was so fresh, delicious, tender, moist and soft.

We were all impressed with the food and they all said it was delicious and I'm not exaggerating!

It was a sad event but the food was superior trust me. I recommend this restaurant for all.

Thank you so much for doing this for us with short notice, for not compromising on quality, and for making a hard day easier for us.

The tadig here is honestly amazing and you must try it. Always a nice selection of stews and soups, fast and friendly customer service, affordable prices. Coming here for a few months now and no complaints:)

This place used to be amazing, an absolute staple of weekly indulgence. Now, the quality of the meat has gone down hill, they've changed the seasoning and the over all demeanor of the little man working the front desk is absolutely awful.

It's an affordable Persian restaurant. The prices here are relatively lower than other Persian restaurants. Their quality is still good. In general, it is recommended for take out if you have a large party.
They can further improve their decoration and dine-in options there. However, they probably spend less on interior design to be able to serve food for cheaper.
Anyway, they are hospitable. I liked their Gheymeh stew, but Kababs were average.

The koobideh and rice had no flavour, and it was so dry. Nothing like koobideh you would find in Iran. And the lentil soup just tasted like tumeric

Used to be a great place. Good food at great price. Last time we were disappointed as they placed the take out containers in front of us on the table! Blaming it on covid. I guess it would be a good take out place going forward but for me. I think with the competition you can get better quality food with a little search these days i don't recommend this place anymore.

It was really good before 2020 but today I ordered kubideh and qeimeh both were horrible and uneatable the unfortunately they’re still pricy but no quality any more

I like the Vaziri here and the staff is friendly. Make sure to check your food if you can because they can be a little bit scatterbrained.

Very Tasty food. But very disorganized. We were in a hurry, phone 30 minutes prior and placed order saying we will pick it up. Big line when we got there and they hadn’t even started making ours. The guy scribbles down the order in a boom that clearly isn’t used. Then he said “5 minutes”. But our lamb needed to be cooked (unlike the other meats that seem to always be ready). So waited 20 minutes. Which was far longer than everyone who just walked in. And didn’t order the lamb chops.
But as I said, food was very tasty.

One of my favorite places to get Persian food. I would always come to this place when I use to work 6 years ago beside this area. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. I would always order the Chicken Kabob Skewer Combo

This place is disgusting being in the restaurant service’s I’ve seen things but the hygiene and cleanliness here is something else. Anyone who recommended this place has no idea what they’re talking about or they rather eat cheap and not quality. If you find yourself in there take a good look around on how they prepare “work” the food.

The owner is super nice and the food is top top notch can’t go wrong for nice healthy food wish it was closer to us

Probably the most tender chicken (joojeh kabob) anywhere. The koobideh is very good as well. This little place where the main person is not Iranian can claim to be better than most for Iranian food.

Usually good service and food, but ever since the pandemic hit, they've been going downhill heavily. Quality and flavour of the meat has gone down, Rice is dry and tasteless, not to mention the recent unprofessionalism of the staff. Ordered for takeout over the phone the last two times I visited here. The guy told me 20-30 minutes until the food's ready, I end up going there after 30 minhtes just to be held up for another 30 minutes because he didn't even START my order yet. Was very disappointed for this to happens twice in a row therefore I made it my last visit there. Sure the price is good for the food but you can find better quality and customer service for a similar price elsewhere. Would not recommend anymore.

What a delight to eat here. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and now I have kids and they are eating here. Quantity, value and amazing prices. This is a hidden local gem enjoy. Everything is tasty and every thing is good. Call ahead as they are busy for a good reason. Well done little house of kebabs.

When you buy Koobideh Kabob you expect it to be porportionate through the whole skrewer this place is a rip off, the kabob is not porportionate and the food has little to no flavor compared to other places. Would not recommend. It's just a shame some businesses get away with this and serve people unequal portion sizes where half of the skrewer has more meat than the other half. When you buy a skrewer of cooked meat you expect it to me the same everytime. Will not be going there again.

I miss that they moved from their Yonge st.location, even after all these years. Though it’s out of my way, I still get out there from time to time and it’s still consistent. Love the owner, food is always fresh, cooked to order and always left feeling satisfied. Looking forward to going back. The chicken shish and kebob over that amazing rice, plus the fire roasted tomato hits the spot each and every time.

Been coming here since they were at Ryerson as a student. When they moved to Richmond Hill I've been a loyal customer since. Food is really good but the service has been plumetting for years.

My orders keep getting messed up and there are too many people doing too many things. Things are very disorganized and it would be better if everyone just manned one station to complete the orders. Taking names or assigning order numbers would be helpful as well.

Great food quality and they have managed to keep the quality high over the years. Better to order in advance as they have a lot of take out orders and will take a while to get your order ready but for sure worth the wait.

This kebob house is the best in the city, the owner of this place was the person who originally invented kebobs.

Been eating at this restaurant since I was university student at their downtown location. Their food is excellent.

This place is my favored. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The crew is very amicable and the cooking they serve is so good. I am always happy to have a decent dinner here. Highly recommended.

The person who cook thier food is very unclean and they she is very rude and their is no taste in their food and price is not even reasonable

This is a best Persian Cuisine and they are very expert in making the best fresh food al the times and I enjoy the real taste of Persian traditional food in Richmond hill area, I recommend every one to try and see the difference food

Amazing food hosted and created by a person you can tell truly loves what they do. Authentic cuisine with all the right touches. Great for take out or an unpretentious lunch

Juiciest kebabs ever. Every dish comes with a complimentary lentil or garlic soup. Amazing value for price and the staff there are very down to earth. I go there at least a couple times a week now.

Great and fresh food. Very delicious. Have ordered twice for big get togethers but each time I have gone to pay, the price is $5 to $ 10.00 more than what was quoted to me at the time of ordering. I find that very disturbing. There is a short guy who gets the orders ready and also handles the cash. Both times I advised him that was not what I was quoted and he says ok whatever. Overall the food is good and big portions but the little guy has got to stop doing that.

The food here is amazing! Some of the best kebabs I've ever had. I'd definitely recommend going and will be going again myself! Yum.

The kabobs were big and have great flavor. The portion was a lot but I found the rice to be quite bland. Only color not enough flavor. The service was good and the owner is friendly. Worth checking out.

Amongst the best Persian restaurants in the city. Always consistent with quality and friendly owner and customer service. They are very busy so call ahead for pick up or enjoy dining in as well. Glad they are close by as its my go to spot after the gym.

Great family owned restaurant serving up delicious Persian food. Their skewers are delicious, and the meals typically come with a soup or a salad. I recommend the soup! Service is quick and friendly, and the tables are movable which makes it great for large groups!

Very good food but the person who takes the orders almost everytime gets something wrong so when we pick up food we check every pack but still one of the better places for kebabs

Meats were good- lamb chicken pretty tasty, rice were good too. Salad wasn’t so good (bad dresssing, black lettuce, tiny). Service was ok

Big portions for the price and relatively fast service. Staff aren't very friendly. The food Looks good but no taste. Looks like they are using more food color instead of Saffron. The meat quality wasn't good at all. Don't know what they mix with the ground beef/lamb. I hope the Stews are better! I don't mind paying a little more and get a better quality food.

Had a horrible experience with some takeout. The kebabs tasted like SOOT. Bitter as HELL. How they could let food that is inedible leave the kitchen is beyond me. Will not be returning.

First time here. Once you park your car u can smell the BBQ smell in the plaza. Walking in the restaurant has seating but not a very big restaurant. I ordered two vaziri plates. Came with option of soup or salad. The soup was really good. Once the food arrived it was hot and fresh. Taste just like back home. Really enjoyed the food and definitely be back

Be prepared to wait, I go here often but the food is NEVER ready. While the food is worth the wait, save yourself the call and just order when you get there because it's the same thing. They'll ask you what u ordered and then make it when u get there.

Prepare to wait 15mins for anything but you will be rewarded with an amazing meal.

Just tried this place for the first time. Good portion, taste and price! Very impressed with everything. It was a delightful surprise that they included a little piece of "burnt rice" (It's a real thing, many asian cuisines have it too). I will definitely visit there many times.

Not call it the best Persian kebob place, but the experience is so much different.

If you dine in, for each food order you get a Persian style bowl of soup option for free. Barley Soup was really good.
Pricing point of view beside the kebob quality was AMAZING! You won't find a Persian place with this price, especially as dine in.
The place isn't as small as of some other Persian places; so, finding the spot to sit even on Sunday afternoon is fairly easy.
Kebob options are wide enough to mix chicken with beef or lamb.
Restaurant and washroom both were clean.
Staff & owner were nice and friendly.
