Best about this place is hot table. Food is like you are dining in a 5 star restaurant.
Fruits are fresh and great quality

A little pricy, but great grocery store so 5 stars overal, however DO NOT be tempted by the mini chocolate croissants they will disappoint. They look good, but taste like they were made three weeks ago, they are an abomination of the name croissants. They should be renamed "stale coffee soakers".

We have had them more then once. It is not a case of a bad batch.

I go there often, while in downtown Toronto. Food is very nice and fresh.

Meat and other products are priced well. Staff can be a bit rude, more CSR training needed for cashiers that have attitudes and roll their eyes at you.

Overpriced Grocery Chain - ride your bike to China town and your produce at market is a tenth of the price.

I hesitate to write this review because generally I'm a huge fan of Longo's grocery stores. Growing up in Vaughan, I always had great visits at their markets in that area. Since moving to the Yonge/Bloor area, I haven't had the greatest experiences at this location unfortunately.   Simply put, some of the cashiers are quite rude.   If you choose to use the self-checkouts, you can literally feel the hostility and eye-rolling.   Today, for example, I accidentally put my cart away in the wrong area after self-checking out.   I immediately apologized to the cashier who continued to roll her eyes and chastised me loudly in front of another customer.   I was quite embarrassed and kept apologizing.   It was an honest mistake.   Maybe put a sign where you would like the carts to go? - it's not obvious.
As a family that spends hundreds of dollars a week here, I hesitate to go back.   I'm a member of the Longos Insight Panel and will also be sharing my experience there.

Amazing little store on Bloor Street. Love the variety, the fresh products, as well as the staff. I find myself here several times a week and I'm always satisfied with my experience here.

Today I went to buy pizza dough, everything there was expired by a few days already. We asked a staff member if it is really expired, he said it was, and another staff member took it out from the fridge. Few minutes later when we came back to the fridge, the same dough was back there. Another customer was about to buy it. We told the the cashiers. Hopefully that dough was removed!

Good little market. Not amazing selection, and lactose/gluten free options are thin, but still ok.

Weird rule about more than 10 items can't be self checked, so might be slow at times to get out depending on traffic jams.

Love this Longo's. They have amazing options for pre-made food options that they assemble in-house. Our office picks up cakes monthly here and we love the variety and freshness. The staff are always available and friendly. Loving that they brought back the hot food table. I picked up the most delicious rice and fish today! PLEASE BRING BACK THE BREAKFAST HOT TABLE

Nice selection and fresh produce. But, you may as well use the self checkout if you bring your own bag because Cecilia will walk away and leave your purchases on the counter. I actually had left the store and had to come back because I didn’t see that she left part of my order on another counter. Apparently, if you wanna clog the environment with plastic bags she would be happy to pack for you.

Man this place is a rip off! $12 for 2 meatballs & a half cup of ravioli at the hot food bar? No wonder they don’t show the prices until you have to pay at the cash.
Edit: the food was delicious, I wish they’d have a price estimate though cause that’s a lot for a couple meatbois

We certainly do not agree with the sentiment of some of the reviews and its rather low rating. Longos market offers very good quality produce, amongst other things. In fact, we feel it's a notch above many other grocery stores in the area. We frequent Longos often and we recommend it.

This place/store is a rip off! They raise prices every month and ready made food packages get smaller! I know it’s not the store’s fault and “head office” dictates everything but be aware. Today I picked up a package of Butter chicken for 7.99 (it was 4.99 six months ago and bigger quantity). You can count the 4 pieces of what they call chicken Breast in mainly watered up sauce! Definitely look at other less expensive grocery stores in the area (No Frills, Freshco, Metro) before you go here. Metro offers a great hot food buffet at half the price.

Fresh meat, produce, baked goods and seafood. Looks very organized, all flood here comes with a higher price tag.

I just wanted to grab a few things, bought some cookies decided I wanted some milk to go with it. To treat myself I bought the organic glass bottle, made my venture home to pour a glass of chunky milk. It expired over a week ago.

Longo's! Yum yum yum okay you better be prepared to either not be hungry or want to eat the entire store when you come here warning.so here we are at one of probably what is considered a flagship stores they have not only a hot food bar and bakery and almost everything you could want from Deli to fresh fish but OMG.
The best thing about the marketplace that is located here downtown are the prices are exceptional and the quality of the food is terrific a much better break from a fast food restaurant or the convenience of a convenience store.
The staff work hard and I've actually been employed in multiple grocery situations I've been a produce clerk several times a deli clerk and dairy clerk and I've worked for some of the leading providers of produce including Bamford produce and I can proudly say that this location does a great job the staff and the delicious food are all high quality.
So enjoy yourself downtown but avoid markup by coming out to the marketplace if you want they even have whole pizzas or slices you would be surprised so take a stroll and either have an empty stomach or an empty fridge because warning you will see delicious food here.
I know that many of the longos locations are actually full service so I'm used to the full grocery store but this is actually a very spacious location and you'd find that they have everything you would want.

Small selection and overpriced. Hit and miss when it comes to freshness. If you’re looking to buy items like cereal and coffee you’ll be fine.

Overpriced. Small. Fish odour in the store. Cashiers either don’t understand English or don’t hear you because of loud music

Longos is included in the list of favorite groceries. But, yesterday I was disappointed, I am a vegan and an environmentalist. The store has imposed the use of the plastic bag despite telling her that she did not want it because I brought my own bag and she almost refused to buy me if I did not have the bag.
We all know the damage that plastic bags cause to the environment. As if that were not enough, when the cashier handed me the receipt, she only took it from the tip to give it to me, with a gesture of revulsion.
It is the first time that I see such imposition and such customer treatment in this city. I do my shopping in different stores, but this is unheard of! In no store have I seen such an obligatory imposition, neither with a bag nor with the obligatory use of a face mask inside the store because if not, they won't let you buy. Where is free will? Has the city imposed those rules and I didn't know?

I only have good things to say about the store and the staff. Thank you so much for always smiling and being the very best.

Moved into the area few weeks ago. I’m an aspiring chef and plan to attend culinary school next year. I’am so happy how well stocked this store is from fresh produce to meat. If anyone is looking for a store with fresh produce or meat this your location. There is also starbucks in here

I usually shop at maple leaf square location stopped by to pick up some produce on my way from work and for a market ton of produce varieties everything fresh and clean

I always shop in this area and i found all the team members are friendly, irreproachable and kind.i like there salad bar because it has a lot of options to choose from.food in the kitchen was amazing.i will probably recommend it to my friends.

Today I Had An Interview. Reach There 10 mins Earlier. Walking Around The Store No One Comes To Ask If You Need Help. I Had To Take The Initiative And Bother someone to find the manager. I Meet The Manager For Food The Food Prep Area. He Didnt Show Hardly Any Interest In Me. Gave Me Application To Fill Out At Dirty Table. I Ask For Napkin To Clean it, Someone Just Told Me To Go To Salad Bar, Where There Wasnt Any. Waiting There For Over 15 mins, He Has Even Come By To See If I Was Done My Application. Hes Over There Having Conversations With Employees And Just Not Attending To The Interview. Keep Telling Me To Wait and Laughing With Employees. I Never Felt SO DISRESPECTED AND EMBARRASSED. I just Left. I Would GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. No professionalism at all.name of manager Jason.

For quality of products, selections (despite being just a market store means smaller than the regular stores and big location stores), serviceability and most of all customer service performance!

The bakery is nice but they never state when it was baked which makes it a bit misleading.its a bit expensive too which doesnt make it very convenient.one time i got cinnamon rolls and they were super delicious.the following time they tasted horrible.i was very surprised that they were clearly not fresh, tastless and chewy.i tried it a third time in few weeks and they were good.the lack of inconsistency is slightly worrying and surprising.

I had a bad experience at this location about 2 weeks ago, wasn’t going to talk to anyone about it but one day I come cross the store manager I told him what happened right away he apologized and asked me what would you like me to do for you to make you happy and all I said to him, plz I need a good customer service this is all I wanna from you and actually he did, I thank him for taking action right away I really appreciate bcz I use to shop at whole foods but I stopped since lingos opened right below my place. Thanks to this manage who appreciate and valued his customers

I love this store. My only complaint is that sometimes the kaiser buns are day old and they are not marked day old. This drives me nuts. When your favorite baked item is a kaiser bun from Longo's.you know when it is not fresh.

Today, I went for purchase and the produce associate are so good, helpful and they are always willing to check in the backroom. I remember an associate Amal he was so helping, friendly and I had a good experience.

Longos is my go to place for all snacks. They're fruit and baked goods taste better than other places to me. The cookies are great!

I passed by on Friday morning at 10: 30am > i wanted to surprise my hard working colleagues with a box or 2 of pastry’s. The bakery/pastry counter had 2 people waiting in line. No one working at the counter. 10 mins went by and i could see staff at other counters looking at us but no one felt empowered to come and help us. Finally lady come walking towards us she watched us as she shuffled boxes of baked goods near the hot counter and then came to the counter to serve the first customer still not acknowledging me or anyone else waiting.after 15 mins i left because i start work at 11am. Very pretty pastries but they keep them behind glass and no one was willing to serve them to me >>>so i coldn't buy any

It is my go-to place when I don’t know what for lunch. They carry lots of good stuff. I rarely was disappointed. The place is small but it has what you need. I even found one of my favourite snacks there. Easy access under ground. The staff are very nice for the most part. It is super busy during lunch time and with all cashiers working you still got to expect to wait in line.

Small and expensive. Not much option in vegetables and it's not as fresh. I barely go unless I'm looking for something very specific they might have that's packaged.

One bad apple shouldn't spoil the whole cart. I continue to shop at Longo's but this particular store.never again.

Great customer service! I lost my rewards card and they prevented my points from being redeemed by a stranger and then held the card from me at the store. I'm so thankful.

My favourite part in this Longos is how nice the cashiers are and how they don’t judge me when I arrive 5 minutes to closing and try to buy as many chocolates and Cheetos as possible. They judge my purchases only slightly, and only with their eyes. Judging by how sad the guy looks when putting back the street furniture at the end of the night, I can usually gauge how much my last minute presence there would be an annoyance. Customer service is quite superb always, as they would never tell me how selfish I am for making them go home late to fulfill my incredibly selfish, nightly binging quest, and that is why I would always go here first instead of the Rabba next door. They judge me hard AND they’re open 24 hours. Come on Rabba, let me eat my chips at 3 AM on a Wednesday night.

One of my favorite stores in Toronto. The choice is big but not overwhelming. Meet selection is really good. Also salmon they cook is delicious
