The Market by Longo's

Went there this morning. Staff was super friendly even in the morning. I was inspired by the fantastic cashier. She was working Tuesday Nov 7 2023 at 8: 15am. There was a line of customers on one side and one lady lined up on the other and cut in front of everyone. When I explained to her that we are all waiting and we wetter here before you she got upset and stormed out. The cashier explained to her calmly that we were first but the customer was not listening. This cashier was excellent on dealing with this difficult situation and is a great asset to Longos

Even though this is a small store, they have pretty good variety of produce, prepared foods, and pantry staples. There's also a Starbucks inside. The main issue I have is how the bakery items are stored, I always see flies on them. Also the prices are very high.

Frequented this little supermarket while I was living in Canada and I always had a pleasant time here! Cashiers are super friendly and they had most essentials.love their convenience foods (especially for a college kid). The potato salad is great, the serving size is large for the price and it tastes surprisingly good for convenience.don’t recommend the fried noodles though.tikki masala is also

I digress.besides the convenience food and assortment of perishable and non perishable groceries, Longo’s also has a mini Starbucks inside and more freshly prepared food on offer. Pizza, and a section where you can build your own meal! Just a heads up though, prices are Not Walmart, but I wasn’t expecting them to be.for a small supermarket, the place is really diverse in its offerings and the staff are lovely.pay it a visit if you’re in the area!

Delicious fresh snacks, healthy produce and fresh groceries at reasonable prices for the city

I bought today roasted chicken leg with roasted potatoes and mix veg. $8.49 seemed like a great deal. Chicken was decent for 7/10, veg was almost raw but I can give it 5/10, but potatoes had unpleasant aftertaste and were not edible so 0/10 as I disposed them to the garbage, general advise, just buy the chicken, thanks.

I visited there this afternoon and didn’t buy anything. When I went out of the store the staff locked the automatic door don’t let me out. Seriously? And no one explained to me why don’t let me leave just look at me.

Small store but decent selection. Good selection of cooked foods (chicken, pizza, etc).
