THE MEDICAL PRACTICE , WALK-IN & FAMILY PRACTICE CLINIC

Originally would of given this review 4 stars. One star minus (they moved very far from their original location) Now to even get in contact with my physician Dr. Gin i have to call book an appointment just to get a refill or a note sent to my employers. Then it went from $30 to $75 to send one form back to my insurance company. The clinics website is so outdated that the doctors they show don't even work there anymore. They need to really work on making sure to stay open and not have 3 days out of the week closed.

Went to get a blood test done, waited over an hour just for them to tell me that don’t do the test only for them to give me papers to get my blood test and not sign the papers or give the numbers, making everything done in past two days useless

I booked an appointment, came in and the office was pretty empty.about 3 people sitting in the waiting room. I get sent to a room and after 20 minutes of waiting, the doctor finally shows up and tells me he is incredibly busy and to tell him my top problem. I said I have a few I'd like to talk through, he says I need to pick just one. Every single time I come into this place I feel awful, they rush me and don't take more than 30 seconds to listen. They want to rush you through the door as fast as possible and they are all incredibly rude. I advise you find another medical practice and these people should be inspected.

I called them for making an appointment but they don’t have doctors: (They have only telephone consultation. I had skin issues, so I wanted to see doctor.what’s happened this clinic. Person who took my phone call was nice, but you guys need doctors though.

My experience with Dr. Gin has been good so far! (This is my third family doctor at this location). Unfortunately it's hard to get through on the phone to make an appt and the receptionist always seem very rushed on the phone. I understand they are busy but it can be frustrating at times.

Just a heads up. Do not go if your expect to speak to a doctor in real life, I wish I read the reviews prior. If you don’t mind being assessed by a medical assistant and only speaking to doctor via zoom then this is your place but if not, go someplace else or like they told me “ call before to ask if there is a physician available on site”.

If you have the unfortunate experience of getting Dr. Gin as your walk-in doctor, do yourself a favor and just hang up.plenty of other places in toronto that won't make you feel like your health problems are 100% your own fault. Don't give this man the time of day. Bye! Will NEVER reach out to this place again.terrible doctor, terrible experience.

I call so many times during business hours and the secretary was not there. I sent 2 emails around 10 am mentioning I was needing to see or talk with a dr because an ear infection and "Shirly" answered around 4 pm mentioning "we have no in person service " but not offering any service at all. Then I asked her to provide me a phone call appointment and she didn't answer anymore. LAZY FAUX DOCTORS and assistant. We are all working! Do your job and respect the Hippocratic Oath

UPDATE: Yes I have spoken to that doctor via email and phone. Maybe address your patients concerns before they have to go public and warn others to avoid your clinic through a review.

Absolutely terrible experience, whoever is there that replaced dr obrien is doing an awful job. Ignoring me as a family doctor patient and ive had to seek health elsewhere due to this useless place. Nothing like having a doctor scream at you on the phone, not listen to you and disregard all of your concerns.

I called twice, they put on hold both and disconnected the calls. It would have been easier to say that you guys were busy

As a former patient here, I’ll be honest. If you enjoy being ignored or getting replies at least a week after your initial contact this is the clinic for you. Personally I can’t trust a clinic with staff/doctors like this with my health. If this is how they conduct their business I can take my business elsewhere, encourage a few of you as well, then hopefully this clinic will disappear into the ether after everyone else realizes how terrible they are. Oh also Dr. O’Brien is now leaving to go back home permanently (not staying in Canada) so you can disregard any reviews that mention him as he will no longer be at the clinic.

Clinic staff messed up on sending the prescription to the pharmacy that I requested for and when I called the second day and time, the lady notified me that they would contact the pharmacy to get it sorted out.

30 mins later, the pharmacy still hasn’t received a call from the clinic resolving the issue.

Very disappointed, as I will now have to call for the third time, essentially making it a three day process to get my prescription filled out.

Due to Covid, the clinic was closed for in person visits but had Doctor phone consultations. Dr. Chopra was extreme pleasant to talk to, he went through some options for me to take, I didn't feel rushed, I felt like he was trying his best to do what he can through what was available. Although we were just speaking through the phone, I can feel his honesty and that assured me of my situation. Overall great experience with Dr. Chopra (spelling might be wrong, I apologize)

It took me years to find a doctor who actually cares for their patients in Canada, I am very glad I met Dr O'Brian at this clinic. He takes his patients' health seriously and he's cautious and knowledgeable.

Don't waste your time. Just go to another clinic initially, it's not worth it at all.

They should also note that they don't take any new patients after 4: 15pm when there's literally 2 people there.

Amazing doctors! Dr. O'Brien is the best but I also like Dr. Kuzmin as well. The staff are incredible as well! Keep up the amazing work!

Dr. O'Brien is fantastic and the nurses and assistants are great too. Polite, caring, professionals. A lot of the negative reviews here seem to be from people who don't understand how walk-in appointments work. Arrive early if you haven't booked an appointment ahead of time. Sometimes the walk-in hours are quite short, but that's because the province doesn't fund enough doctors. Get angry at the people that cut funding, not the doctors.

Been coming to this clinic a few times, waiting period sometimes is 1 hr to 2 which is typical for wak-ins i think. Doctors are knowledgeable, caring, professional and take time to explain your diagnosis. New staff are very helpful and friendly. Great team! Definitely recommend this clinic.

Doctors here are very friendly with wealth of knowledge and professionalism especially their family doctor. Staffs are super nice helpful and very freindly, they treat you like a family. Good team!

Just saw the doctor, very professional and experience. No wait time at all:) Service are great, receptionist are very friendly.

I have moved in this area a few years ago and ive been to this clinic few times, the doctors i saw were great especially their family doctor but a bit disappointed as staff seems like inexperience, hours keep on changing especially walk in hours and never answer the phone.i came in last week to my surprise that they now have longer walk in hours everyday and short waiting period to see the doctor. New staff are very friendly and experience in what they do especially to their lab technician who did my test in just a second and for the first time did not faint (thanks for distracting me:). Good Service!

Dr. Obrien is the best family doctor. Knowledgeable and willing to take time to discuse your concerns. He calls you when needed. Shirly and Vera are very helpful, freindly and professional staff. Thank you for the email and yes looking forward for a healthy 2020.

I won't go into detail. This place is awful. My current doctor works out of this clinic. To get an appointment, it can now be up to two weeks. As a walk in facility, the last time I was there, I was told that it would be a 45 minute wait, which I thought to be fair enough. 2.5 hours later, my name was called. Currently, I had my pharmacy fax the clinic to repeat a prescription. 6 days ago.still no response from the clinic. I am now nervous about getting the prescription repeated, that, and I may have to go to the Walk In Clinic From Hell to get a repeat on an f****ng prescription. And yes, it pisses me off.

They are always out of stuff at their pharmacy. The walk in clinic opens and closes whenever the hell it wants.

Arrive at 9.45am - said the walk- in was finished. The sign said 9-10am. Left with a really uncomfortable UTI (urinary track infection). Just need an antibiotic. Not great medical care.

I came in at 9: 30 AM thinking that it wouldn't be too busy since they had just opened. When I got to the receptionist she said that the doctor only takes 5-8 walk-ins in the morning and cuts it off there. Why call yourself a walk-in when you only take a limited amount of people? You might as well just take appointments.

I had a sprained ankle and they wouldn't see me even though I explained that it just took me 20 minutes to walk there and I just wanted to see the doctor. I would have taken an Uber if it wasn't so close to my place to avoid overworking my foot (my house is 200 meters from the clinic).

Receptionist was extremely rude and did not care to look up another nearby walk-in clinic for me even though I politely asked. Note that she was not busy at the time and there were 4 people in the waiting area just sitting there. I also noted that whenever she answered a phone call she was dismissive and when asked a question she would often reply "I don't know".

Terrible service. Terrible staff. Avoid at all costs.

Don't make this your family doctor unless you're into being largely under-treated by your doctors and charged out the a** for laughably small services. New reception staff are unforgivably under-trained.

Doctor Kuzmin is super awesome, really goes the extra mile for her patients and is super sweet.

I’ve lived near this walk-in clinic for 6 years, so I’ve been here many times, and with mixed experiences. Most recently, I arrived at 3: 30 to see the doctor and they wouldn’t accept anymore patients. At the latest, I’ve seen this clinic stop accepting patients at 5 on a weekday though its hours are supposed to be 9-6: 30. The receptionist told me that the doctor, whose initials are KS (I don’t know their name but saw it listed on their calendar), said the doctor just wants to go home. Well, welcome to work life, doctor. Unfortunately, your job is to take care of other people who are relying on the hours of this clinic to be accurate. It’s never convenient for someone to go to a walk-in. But most walk-ins go above and beyond to stay open just to accommodate sick patients. I understand that maybe under special circumstances the doctors might need to leave early, but I’ve never seen this clinic stay open until its listed hours. It’s hard enough to see a doctor without clinics like this making up their hours as they please. What a huge disappointment.

Hours indicate open until 5 but arrived at 4 and sign said no longer accepting patients. Will have to come back tomorrow I guess.

If you have a choice, try going on a Tuesday. Dr Kuzmin is a fantastic doctor who takes her time understand your case and provide teaching moments, and is full of warmth.

Have been waiting to hear about my results from some testing I had done. Called many times to no answer. The answering machine has not been updated since Christmas and it is now march. Went into the clinic and there it turns out the office has been closed all weekend. Also, all the hours posted online for this clinic are wrong.

I have found Dr. Sohal to be caring, congenial and effective during my three visits to the office for a physical injury and prescription needs over a couple of years. I felt that information was heard and taken more seriously than probably any other encounter with a doctor. (Dr. Lee.different story for - different review - as with most things- it depends on who you are dealing with)
