Poor Kristin Bisbee seems to get all the hate because she is the Paralegal who handles claims from people whose vehicles got damaged while driving on roads the Miller Group was contracted to work on.
She ghosted me too, when my claim was forwarded from the Ontario Ministry of Transport (damage was on a section of 404 Miller worked on).
I am giving her 5 stars though because I know her job is to find any and all reasons to deny claims against Miller. So I think she is doing a great job, really deserves a promotion if I'm her boss.
Come on people, just because you didn't get the answer you want, doesn't mean she didn't give HER best answer. We have to be more tolerant and understanding from other people's perspectives.

My claim was also forwarded by the Ontario Ministry of Transport damage on a section of 401 under construction
I understand Kristin's key job objectives and
at least you got an answer. I have yet to get an acknowledgment of
receiving my claim, as a courtesy, regardless of the final disposition.
I am a senior out of pocket $900.

Kristin bisbee does not answer emails.i'm a senior lady who is $500.00 out of pocket money due to the neglect of the miller group not cleaning the construction site.she does not respond to my emails or proof of damages paid.very professional.i'm sure the law society would not be proud of this graduate.

I’ve been working for the Miller group for over 15 years. They are a great company to work for. No issues.

Same exact review about Kristin Bisbee. She has been ignoring me emails and phone calls, even though the ministry of Ontario has sent her proof of claim. The Miller Group is trying to avoid paying back for their mistakes. Very scam worthy of a company. I don't understand why Ontario uses them with our tax dollars. They are a scam. Kristin Bisbee please be the paralegal you studied to be and answer calls and emails instead of ignoring them. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. But after months of being ignored and after seeing multiple people here claiming that this is what you and your company do (ignore claims), this has to change. If not I will have to take this to court and also make multiple complaints to the the province and law board.

Worst company. Very irresponsible. Do not work with them. They have the construction at Bayview avenue under contract. Two big manhole covers sticking out in the middle of the road. My car goes on it as in the middle of intersection it is hard to by pass them. Two premium tires on my 2018 Chevy are ripped. I paid $1100.00 to replace the two tires. Now they come back to me saying they cannot be hold accountable for the damage. Very irresponsible. City should find better contractors to work with. Miller group are a disgrace.

I have been dealing with Miller Group’s litigation paralegal, Kristin Bisbee, for almost 8 months pertaining to a claim I had made with the company for damages incurred to my vehicle resulting from roadwork the company was performing - specifically the unsafe leaving of an unfilled trench in the middle of the road during the weekend when work wasnt taking place. With no signage indicating the trench in the road I drove over the trench at the speed limit causing damage to my car.

At the outset of the claims process Kristin Bisbee impressed upon me that there would be a two-way expectation of courtesy for response times and reasonability in all other matters of the dispute. She further explained that she was under obligation by the Law Society of Ontario to navigate matters as such in a manner consistent with the principles of the Society. Kristin has been anything but professional. I have called her many times over the past 5 months to follow up on the claim, leaving a voicemail every time, and Kristen has not returned one call within this timeframe. It seems that at this point, Ms. Bisbee has chosen to halt communication and ignore further attempts as a resolution to my claim; I happen to know that this behaviour is not consistent whatsoever with the principles of the Law Society of Ontario. Given other complaints about Kristin Bisbee which I have read in this reviews section, I am considering reporting her to the Society.

Working in a manufacturing company we recently just got the contract for Miller Waste and our sales rep Jeremy is very outstanding and they are very good and their customer service is very great they're always there to help you their drivers are very clean and clean up after themselves

I live in the City of Ottawa, where The Miller Group collects Green Bins. The Miller Group have dealt unprofessionally, unpolitly and ignored their responsibility from the start following an employee accidentally damaging my car parked at the curb. Their employee involved tried to leave instead of admitting the accident, despite of multiple witnesses. Their supervisor, who came to our house, was not polite and insisted that this couldn't have happened. Their Litigation Paralegal, Kristin Bisbee, spoke to me as if I am trying to steal from them and was not very responsive or cooperative. I provided them with a claim including pictures of their truck and employees beside my car, a witness statement, a police report, etc. Their decision was that I am lying and my claim is false. My claim was for $576.00 based on a quote from a local body shop, and The Miller Group denied any responsibility. Perhaps they feel they can do that because it is not their city. I hope that my City will stop any dealings with them. We pay taxes to get services, I hope The Miller Group knows that.
For anyone wondering, my green bin has very rough edges that could easily do the damage in the picture. Perhaps the roughness is from all the banging while emptying the bin.
I am just shocked that a company as big treats citizens like they did with me. They come to our door front, damage my vehicle and wash their hands out of it by claiming we are lying or trying to scam them. Like I would invest all the time and effort to provide them a claim including 8 attachments and a police report just to victimize them.
