The Mississauga Academy of Martial Arts

Great staff who are patient with all of their students across every age group. As a current student, and someone who has their entire family training with AMA Mississauga, I have been very pleased with how they evolved their program to include both online and in-person training as permitted.

The instructors are great at both teaching and at motivating the students to be better at everything they do.

I highly recommend the Mississauga Academy of Martial Arts to anyone who is looking at starting their karate training, continuing it at a new location, or simply looking for a way to increase your fitness and overall health.

I have been going here for 6-7 years and it is fantastic. It is especially good for extersise for your kids.

Not all Martial Arts dojos are created equal. There are so many, too many, McDojos out there. If they offer your child a black belt in 3 year or less just walk away. Our two daughters have been going to AMA Mississauga North for 10 and 12 years, respectively. We invested in AMA because of their great leadership, with both men and women in the highest of positions, focus of traditional martial arts, and the immense care they take with positively guiding and teaching. This is not solely about learning to defend yourself in a fight, but rather becoming the best version of yourself. AMA Mississauga instructors focus on the spirt, the mind, and the body. My wife and I know in our hearts that our teenage daughters are the amazing people they are, straight A students, contributing back to the world around them, with great friends, in a large part because of the great program and leadership at AMA Mississauga. Thank you to all of you.

I enrolled my two daughters at AMA (Millcreek) to set them on the right path by exposing them to good moral values and acquire life skills.

As a former practitioner of Kung Fu, I ensure the proper questions were asked when seeking a martial arts school. I can say without a doubt that AMA (Millcreek) answered all of them and passed with flying colours.

Compared to other schools of various arts, I found this dojo to be very humble in nature. Other dojos spent more time showcasing their arrogance and hunger for money, while AMA (Millcreek) was solely focused on my children’s well-being.

My kids are in their second week and they are enjoying it so much that they requested to come 3 times per week. They are retaining what they’ve been taught and I can already see a noticeable change in their confidence.

It’s also fairly priced!
