We saw a review for best brunch place but we were pleasantly surprised how amazing the staff was, the service was Stellar. The food came so quickly. Staff had amazing rapport between themselves, and the food was excellent.i highly recommend it.spinning the wheel was fun and will definitely invent us to come back!

It's my second time coming to the morning after and Nadia was an absolute doll! 10/10 for service, attentiveness, food and all around atmosphere!

I really loved the food and ambience! This is now one of my top favorite restaurants! Asia was a great hostess! She defined made a great impression and is responsible for me making a return very soon! Overall 10 out of 10.

Food tasted great. Portion sizes were big. Service was excellent. A little loud with the music but I'm a more quiet person.

I had the "woke up to benny" and latte with oat milk - it was delicious!

observed from friends that cocktails are on the pricier side BUT made with higher end liquors.regardless - a MUST CHECK OUT spot.its worth the whole experience.

We did have to wait for our table but the DJ is playing some serious MUZIKKK and there are some benches along the court yard to chill and jam while waiting.not a big deal at all.go with a good attitude and you'll have a GREAT TIME.

Really long wait lines and they don’t take reservations. Staff at the door are quite rude and look at you weirdly. I mean is this a club or a restaurant?

SCAM Alert- if they ask for water - say tap water that’s free. They got us 2 water bottles that costed $30 (this is a mega scam)

Totally understand that they don’t take reservations on weekends BUT to deny giving you waiting times over the phone is absurd. Don’t play with your customers time….

We had such a great experience of food and service by Jemekaa! We took wake and steak and it was so good! Strongly recommend this brunch place

The ambiance at this place is next level, and the service is amazing. I felt like something was missing from toronto in the past few years and feel that this place has rekindled my love for the city. I found the dishes to be delish. I will definitely return.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. We ordered Too much smoke and the three way, turned out that the sauce on top of eggs benedict is too creamy but still good overall!:)

SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE
The server was the worst and most disrespectful server i ever had, she came to us and literally asked to leave while we were trying to finish food. Gave us a regular knife for a steak brunch menu, which itself was hard to cut the steak and was taking tume and food dint even come until 30/40 mins after we walked in and we were expected to finish in 20 mins.she literally came and lied that there were ppl waiting at door already to sit whereas on our way out we saw there were 6/7 tables empty and its around 2.30 pm and no people at door
Like literally she asked us to leave and wouldn’t even let us sit! This felt more like a racist behaviour whereas she clearly was smiling with others and was very rude to us! The food was okay good but service, NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS

Good atmosphere, good food. Very expensive for what you get and then they ask you for 20-25% as a tip. Inflation is bad enough, but this is just scary.also 60 minutes maximum dining time and they rush you around the whole time.such a shame since it is a great little spot, such potential! But ripping people off is sad.

The place is pretty, food was cold tho, and the server gave us the bill at the moment we finished our meal without asking if we wanted anything else, we did wanted another drink

It would be very appreciated if you guys respected the residents in nearby buildings and turned your music down after 11pm. I don't know what kind of competition is going on with the neighboring bar, but it is impossible to even pass by, not to mention actually dining there. Not the place I would recommend if you enjoy your hearing.

I’ve been here for brunch and the food was uh-mazingggg, so I knew it would be good. But I wasn’t ready! From the moment I checked the menu with the staff, it was a nice vibe! Meron made sure we had a comfortable seat for a toddler and lots of space. I was also informed the menu is new this season.
We decided to do several items - the Cesar salad, chicken wings, fish taco, burger, garlic fries. Each item was so flavourful! The fries were very savoury and the wings had thee perfect balance of salt. And the presentation of the salad was pleasing. But the highlight? The jerk chicken tacos! Authentic jerk seasoning for heat, balanced with a mango salsa - i bit my own lip while eating it. It was a delicious experience. Already loved the vibe, and more than pleased with the menu.
My ONLY complaint would be that, due to the menu being based on tapas portions, the tacos were one item, and I would have loved two tacos per serving.
Overall, I enjoyed this establishment. Compliments to the chef and staff

Went thinking it would be a quieter, chiller, brunch place, but they have a DJ so it's quite loud. If that is your thing for brunch, then go for it.

The food is good but the chaotic energy (could barely hear anyone) was not worth it if you just want to have a chill brunch. MMA was playing and a Disney movie, while club remixes played way too loud in a cramped space.

I got the chicken and waffles which were pretty standard and good; all the good comes out in big portions but was too distracted to enjoy it.

Just an FYI is that gratuity is included.

We came here for a bachelorette brunch today (July 1,2022). THE VIBES amazing! The music AMAZING! The 11am bottle service AMAZING! Our server Caroline AMAZING. Caroline went Above and beyond to provide us with the most hype atmosphere, and the best attitude. We loved her.thank you!

Very disappointing. Spent almost 2 hours there and left with this. Sat on the patio with our luggage hoping to share in a meal together with our group before leaving for the airport after a solid pride weekend in Toronto. We had experienced service delays at other spots on the weekend but considering it was a Monday morning and the restaurant was fairly empty we didn’t think it would be a problem especially since it was only a group of 4. Each of us only ordered one meal.

Our server gave us complimentary shots apologizing for the delay probably 45 mins after we ordered. She came by later apologizing again and asked us when our flight was… and said it wouldn’t be much longer. We also got a unicorn latte on the house since they made an extra one for one of the other tables for some reason.

After nearly 45 more minutes of waiting we decided to ask for the bills and boxes so we could pack the meals to go. We paid our bills promptly and waited. She said they could plate the meals to go for us and so took the boxes back which we appreciated. The food arrived tied up in bags probably 30 mins of anxious waiting later.

We rushed our way to the airport. Pictured is the ayo dos mios. No fried egg, no construction. Just tortilla circles and dips for nearly $20 plus 20% gratuity that included on the bill. Our friend got the same meal with added sausage but didn’t get the sausage he paid for. Bizarre and ridiculous.

We wondered if there was even a chef in because anyone could have put that together. Guests at other table seemed to be scanning the restaurant wondering and awaiting like us too. They ran out of plastic cutlery but they gave us some metalware cutlery for the road too. Goes to show how we can take the bare minimum for granted. Reflected as one of the worst restaurant management experiences I’ve had. I don’t imagine this is how anyone would want to spend their morning after - still hungry and extra anxious after 2 hours of waiting. I don’t believe it wasn’t the servers fault, she was very polite about it all, and honestly seemed embarrassed by the whole thing. Hopefully they can treat their employees and guests with better support and service.

Put our name down for 2, was told a 20 minute wait by the hostess. 40 minutes later we still hadn’t gotten our table so I went and asked the hostess when we’d be getting in as we saw the group ahead of us (when we checked in) get their table. Her answer: it’s going to be at least another 20 minutes. When I told her she initially told us a 20 minute wait and we had already waited double that she just stated the kitchen was backed up. Oh and also were 3 groups ahead of us? The only group waiting was a family that had checked in just before I went to check on the status of our table.

If the hostess had apologized for her obvious screw up it wouldn’t have been a big deal but she made it seem like it was our fault for questioning a wait time that would have been more than triple their original estimate. We left obviously. After reading that they charge a mandatory 18% gratuity it was probably for the best anyway.

Great energy to wake you up the morning after. Bria is a dynamo and I wish I could give her 6 STARS. She made us feel soo good and the food was amazing. Recommend the B2Benny, the 3 way was perfect too. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and it was the best way to restart the day.

Pretty cool little spot. Didn’t try the drinks but I think that’s probably the best part! The food was good, I wish they had a vegetarian/vegan breakfast burrito option like with mushrooms and vegan cheese! Pretty decorated and I like the booths they have along the side!

Was here yesterday with a group of 7 and we all had a great time! The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was so kind and helpful. We were seated outside and the sun got a little too hot, but the workers came together to move around umbrellas for our comfort. Would definitely recommend this brunch spot! I just wish they took reservations, luckily we live close by and the wait was only 40 minutes once we put our name on the waitlist. Will definitely be back!

This place has a nice vibe but really overhyped. The hostess was really rude. We asked to change our seats because we were seated right next to the dirty dishes. She instantly said no like she owns the place. Food was mediocre, fried chicken was too chewy and potatoes had no seasoning. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend this place. There are better brunch places in Toronto where they have better food options & respect their customers.

Food was good, service was okay. Server spilt our mimosa sampler a couple of times and wasn’t the most hospitable. Would go back just for the vibe and food though!

Amazing service, great food and loved their music. Went with my toddler and partner and they took care of us - went above and beyond expectations. Adía was really kind and accommodating to our needs. Ordered the b2 benny today and it’s supposed to be poached eggs. Not only that the waitress didn’t ask how i’d like my eggs to be cooked but I got HARD BOILED EGGS instead of poached eggs. Plus, there was no hollandaise sauce. The bacon was burnt and over cooked as well as the english muffins. The only thing that was good on my plate was the salad and the fries. Dont put poached eggs on your menu if the chefs can’t even cook poached eggs

Food tastes good but portion size is not equal. My eggs benedict with ham came with 2 small slices whereas other reviewer's pictures have double the amount. The kitchen is slow. It is not worth waiting over 40 minutes for food. The service was really nice but the kitchen could use some work getting food out and in proper portions.

Such a great brunch experience! We got a bottle for mimosas and had a great service show. Food is amazing and our server Caroline was exceptional. So sad that this will be the last weekend but will definitely be ordering for take out! You guys rock

I live right next door & I come to The Morning After literally every morning for lunch! I love the food, the atmosphere, the music and the overall hospitality.
The owners Jojo & Caroline are extremely welcoming and are very nice people that always make my experience feel comfortable. I've come for lunch with a lot of my closest friends and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun place for food & drinks!

Absolutely love this place. Best brunch in town. Best Reuben in town. The atmosphere is epic, I was served by Caroline and she was incredible. Super down to earth spot, with LOUD music that makes you want to drink your covid blues away.

This place is amazing, the brunch is exceptional. Our server Caroline was so polite made some amazing recommendations and even was able to make a substitute to satisfy my craving. She checked on us a few times to make sure we were happy. The Moscow mule was just what was needed. We will be back over and over again

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool BUT the staff are also really friendly. Kaileigh served us with a smile and a lil' sprinkle of charm. She knows what she's doing and talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is her main priority. Food is really good and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

Okay first of all, I was so excited my server had the same name AND spelling as me - so rare! Kaileigh was an amazing server, she made us all feel safe and comfortable during our meal and she was super funny! Food was fantastic and we will definitely be ordering for Take Out during the lockdown:)

Everything was amazing! The heaters and tent made it a very comfortable and safe environment to enjoy some delicious food and great drinks! Our server Judy was incredible! 10/10 would recommend!

Truly delicious food and great atmosphere with fabulous outside seating option. Wait staff very friendly. Owner and chef clearly take pride in the quality of the food and small thoughtful details, from welcome fruit skewers to custom drinks to hearty bread drizzled with olive oil to the most delicious vinaigrette on side salads. Nice to hear servers speak highly of owner. Will visit on all future trips to Toronto. Nice location. About 10 min walk from Ft York historic park, 10 mins from waterfront, and less than 15 minute walk from CN Tower and Union Station.

Amazing brunch and dinner downtown Toronto right by the Roger's Center great cocktails and amazing patio. Food was def worth it and not too pricey for the quality and quantity of food. Will def be back.

This is bar far the worst dinning experience I have had in the city. Service is completely non existent. We got here at 9 and did not get our food until after 11.

We asked the person behind the bar for a drink and she was awesome. When we asked for a refill which took 45 minutes of them just walking passed us before we stopped them, the guy looked like his world was going to end. It was clear nobody knew how to make drinks besides coffee. I assumed their bartender called in.

5 workers vs 4 tables and they were by far the slowest in terms of service.

The bar also has a fruit fly issue which means they have cleaning issues. Overall avoid this place.

The food however is very good even if it took forever!

Stopped by this beautiful cafe/diner spot in Fort York. I had such a great time with my friends we HAD TO come back twice in the same day. The Benedict’s for brunch were fire! Obsessed with the Lobster Mac and Cheese and the ribs on The Night Before menu.

This was not a great brunch experience. We were a group of 12, which included two small children. As soon as we sat down, those of us with children and one person who had to leave early ordered our meals first. It took more than a half hour just to get the drinks we ordered (mimosas and coffee), which they got half wrong (too many for our table, they couldn't figure out where the orders went). Then people who ordered complicated plates like eggs benny, got theirs first and my son waited almost an hour for 1 single piece of French toast! When I asked for more, apparently they ran out. At 11am on a Sunday? Half of our table didn't get their meals until an hour later, and the food was mediocre. The staff were friendly but ditzy, like oops haha this isn't for your table, or oops who ordered this mimosa? Unprofessional and unprepared, especially for a group.

I rarely leave reviews but had to in this instance. Visited Toronto for first time, found this gem steps from where we were staying. Service and staff were great especially with making recommendations on things to do if you’ve never visited area. Food was exceptional, only regret was we didn’t stay long enough in Toronto to try more of the dishes. “Wake up to Benny” dish is a great one to start with in the morning.

We ate here twice when we were in Toronto because we were so happy with our first experience there. Food was great, menu was interesting - probably the best food experience I had during my visit to the city. I highly recommend this place!

Went there twice on a visit to toronto and loved the food and the service. Both the first and second time my group of six, including two toddlers, was the only group in the restaurant at around 830. The first time we ordered the captain crunch chicken and waffles, the breakfast platter, a normal eggs Benedict (not on the menu but was delivered when we asked) and wreckage. All of them were great and the hollandaise sauce was excellent (I feel obligated to mention this after the Siempre ‘s hollandaise was trash and on the brink of inedible) the second morning we got two eggs Benedict dishes and the no regrets (the pita dish). All around excellent service and food!

We tried it out and we're not going back. Server was very nice but that's about it. Friend was really excited to try "King waffle" and it was nothing great. Ordered sausage on the side and it came out cold and uncooked (hopefully she doesn't get sick). I ordered smoked salmon benny which was 16$ (!?) And didnt even come with any sides or the dill hollandaise sauce. I dont usually complain but it was bad. I'd suggest goin to another restaurant.

The restaurant it self is OK. But when the chef takes over 20 minutes to make a simple egg and bacon dish it's just awful. I don't want to spend an hour on my breakfast

This place was one of the best restaurants I had ate at while in Toronto. The wait staff was so nice and the food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend getting “the wreckage” my friends and I agreed it was the best dish out of all of our options. Highly recommend!

The Morning After was just around the block from my Air bnb and worked out location wise. Not being from the area I didn’t know what to expect but I was seriously impressed with not only the amazing food but the service as well. My waitress Shannah was extremely attentive and a very sweet person. I will be coming back here next time I make my way to Toronto.

Awesome place to eat and drink, the food was excellent packed with so much flavor. I would strongly recommend this place. The staff is amazing and have great attention to detail. Huge patio to enjoy the beautiful summer sun. Would definitely keep going back when I'm in town.
