The Moving Genie

Sage and her genies made the tough job of packing up our home of 25 years as seamless as possible. The team members are professional and friendly. They were super efficient in the unpacking in our new house as well and were helpful in all ways.
I am happy to give a glowing recommendation.

Our family had the privilege of working with The Moving Genie and her team over a 5 month period, involving: (i) decluttering our home of 27 years and readying it for a contents sale; (ii) packing up the belongings which we were taking with us to our new condo; and (iii) unpacking the condo once moved. I met Sage, the true “genie”, at the outset of the move as she had been recommended by one of the people with whom we were working on our condo reno. I was daunted and intimidated by the move and was really unclear as to how everything would get done. Sage, in her calm and confident manner, took a look around and reassured me that it would all get done and was able to “eye ball” the amount of time and number of people required for the various tasks. We created a very reasonable agenda which would not overly tax my family or me and which reassured me that everything would be looked after. On the day of the actual move, I looked around at the empty/clean house and could not believe my eyes. How did it all get done? How did the garage get completely emptied? What was it? The Moving Genie did it, organized it and pulled it off without a snag! On the other end, at the condo, the unpack went exceedingly well. Sage’s “dream team” as I called them, did not simply unpack… they gave considerable thought to the placement of items and where their various locations would work best for our family. This meant that, once unpacked by the team, things did not have to be reorganized, yet again. I really do not think I would have been able to pull off this move without Sage and her team. Hats off to them. If you want to have a stress-free move which unfolds at a reasonable and even pace, you cannot go wrong by engaging The Moving Genie. You would, in fact, be doing yourself a favour which is well worth it.

The Moving Genie is an absolutely excellent company. Sage and her team have been effective, efficient, professional, careful, and kind. They have gotten me ready for my move…through their decluttering, organizing, and packing services…and will mastermind unpacking to a smaller abode. Plus: Sage, in her leadership, and R in her admin support, are top-notch. In my view, leadership and management - as well as the calm and proficient on-the-ground work - are crucial to the client relationship and experience. In every step, I was consulted, engaged, and respected. I even had fun in the process! This is a terrific company…highly recommended.
