Absolutely amazing support! I went with my three month old for help getting him to take a bottle and got way more than I bargained for, in the best way. His latch was never perfect and Elaina helped perfect that while also helping us get him to take a bottle. Her knowledge and encouragement were game changing and I just wish I had gone to see her earlier in our breastfeeding journey!

Elaina has been an absolute blessing to me and my family! She is highly professional and knowledgable. Her recommendations and support with breastfeeding, my son's reflux issues, and transitioning to solids were very useful for us. Elaina is truly the most caring and compassionate person. With encountering many issues, Elaina told me that she would be there with us through it all and get us through it, and that she did! Many people are talented, which Elaina is; however, it is her true passion for what she does and commitment to help others that makes her someone that you certainly want on your side! Parenthood, and breastfeeding, can be difficult to navigate and I can testify that Elaina will be with you in the process! Forever grateful, Kyla.

Our experience with Elaina was fabulous. We went in for our daughter and right away she was able to identify the problem and offer a solution. I would highly recommend going to see her if you are having any issues or just have questions.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Elaina is wonderful. She is so understanding and you automatically feel at ease from the beginning. For anyone who is struggling with any breastfeeding related issues, I would highly recommend The Nest. I started using their services because it was covered by OHIP but I continued to go there because of Elaina:)

Where to even begin. Let’s just say all of these positive reviews are more than true. Although Elainas practice is relatively new, her years and years of experience shine through the moment you talk to her. Although I am very lucky to not have many problems breastfeeding my second child, I was convinced he had a strong tongue tie. Elaina validated my feelings as well as confirmed he had a very strong tongue tie (and lip tie) which could affect him with many other things later in life. The tongue tie was quickly dismissed by my doctor since my baby was eating and gaining weight properly (but this should not be the only thing we’re concerned with)

She took her time for both our first appointment and follow up appointment, answered any question I may have as well as questions I had after hours (quite late in the evening)
She helped me with pumping questions since I never pumped with my first.
The paediatrician she refers to for the release was absolutely amazing.
And extra added bonus her visits are covered by OHIP.

Although this is a very long review I could continue to go on and on about the positive experiences I had with Elaina and her services at The Nest.

She is what all healthcare should strive to be especially healthcare surrounding our special little babes.

I've been to a lot of lactation consultants in KW and Elaina is the best! She is very knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. We always left our appointments feeling so reassured and I couldn't have gotten through our breastfeeding journey without her. Highly recommend!

Elaina is great, I was having difficulties with breastfeeding with my 2nd and she was able to find a tongue tie which was corrected very quickly. Breastfeeding became a lot easier and my baby is now able to suck much better after that process. I would 100% recommend her if you have any issues with breastfeeding.

Elaina has been so wonderful to work with. My son and I came to her at about 4 weeks when I was pumping and supplementing with formula. She was so supportive and non-judgemental, which is not something I found with some other care providers. She has helped me so much to feel confident and comfortable about feeding my son with formula and has spent time answering the endless questions I have as a first time mom. I only wish we had visited The Nest sooner in our journey! Thanks Elaina!

Elaina is a true magician. After seeing many many specialists and lactation consultants Elaina was the only person to successfully help me reach my end goal of Exclusively Breastfeeding. I never knew all there was to breastfeeding but with the help of Elaina, it made it less daunting. She is not only knowledgeable in breastfeeding but all things pumping as well. I will definitely be returning to her whenever I have another child.

We were referred by my midwife to see Elaina at The Nest Breastfeeding & Prenatal Services. I was so glad we went to see her even though I was thinking my issues were starting to resolve on their own. This wouldn't have been the case.
She spotted a tongue tie that was in a spot a little harder to recognize and referred us to a specialist to have it fixed.
Elaina was exceptional at reassuring us on things we were doing right, and helping us fine tune the things that needed work in a calm and dignified manner. She was also very helpful with questions that came up outside of our appointment time.
I would highly recommend seeing her to anyone struggling with breastfeeding, or if you're needing that extra bit of support and guidance along your journey. I'm so glad we did!

Breastfeeding for me was so hard at the beginning. I wanted to quit every day because I had an oversupply and a fast letdown. Each time I tried to feed my baby she would scream. I cried through so many difficult nursing sessions and felt like I couldn’t do it. When my baby was about two weeks old I found Elaina. She was able to see me right away and was so compassionate and knowledgeable. We worked together to find a solution and now I’ve been breastfeeding successfully for nearly 4 months. Of course, more problems have come up for me and my baby during that time and I am so grateful for Elaina. She stays with you beyond that first appointment and has been encouraging and patient when dealing with my constant self-doubt and questions. Without Elaina, I can confidently say that I would not have continued breastfeeding. But I am so happy that I did. Now that things have settled I love nursing and I’m so happy that I can do this for my baby. I’ve seen two other lactation consultants and Elaina is different because she doesn’t rush the appointment and always makes me feel confident and supported. She listens to my concerns and is so reassuring of my first-time mom neuroses. If you’re having any difficulty at all with feeding your baby Elaina can help you. I am so thankful for everything she has done (and continues to do) for me and my family.

Elaina at the Nest was absolutely wonderful. We sought her help for breastfeeding issues stemming from an undiagnosed lip and tongue tie. She was super helpful, giving us lots of info and referring us to a practitioner for our baby’s revision. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and amazing with babies! I recently started working with the Nest to help establish breastfeeding with my newborn. I had a c-section which made my milk come in late and made breastfeeding the first week or so very difficult. I was feeling very discouraged and about to give up on breastfeeding when my midwives suggested I see Elaina! She was beyond friendly and helpful right from the start! She made me feel confident to breastfeed and was such a wonderful resource of knowledge, support and overall reassurance. My journey as a first time mom & breastfeeding has truly been impacted by her help, I seriously rave about her to my husband and mom after every appointment. I am beyond grateful for her help and the work she does!

As a new mom again after a decade, I was seeking some guidance/reassurance that I’m successfully EB feeding. She explained all our questions and concerns, easily connected with us and gave us great insight about our newborn and left with our questions answered.

Elaina was very patient and kind while working with my daughter and I on breastfeeding. She recommended a tongue tie procedure to assist with our latch and then worked closely with us on breastfeeding techniques and holds. Elaina is fantastic! She really helped reassure me and help me gain confidence with breastfeeding; she is full of knowledge. I came to Elaina when my babe was 6 months old. We had already struggled with my breast feeding journey which resulted in being an exclusive pumper. Elaina was so kind and took a very caring approach when I came to her with my questions and concerns. I did not feel judged and I felt so comfortable with her. I really wish I would have started with her back in December as I feel like my journey would have been way more positive. Elaina has passion for her work, creates a safe and welcoming space and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend any mamas to her!
