I had a pretty disappointing experience at this Indian restaurant. My son fell ill after our Saturday night meal here. We ordered Shahee Paneer, Daal Tadka, and Rotis. The restaurant was understaffed, with only 3 people managing the whole place. Service was super slow, from ordering to receiving the food and getting the bill. The food tasted bad, and the prices were high as compared. It's the first time I didn't leave a tip. The washroom was not in good condition. I regret not choosing Moti Mahal due to the long wait. I won't be returning to this restaurant. Giving it 3 stars for the ambience.
The best indian food in Toronto. The taste is just super awesome. Been then multiple times and the taste was as usual maintained. Chef uncle is the best.
Order shahi paneer, mango lassi and tandoori roti from uber. The packaging was disgusting and very messy. The roti was so burnt couldn’t even taste it. I ordered it for someone, and this guys ruined his meal and left him hungry. Cheap hospitality and service. Shahi panner was okay okay 3/10, mango lassi had no dahi (yogurt) lolz. Worst experience.
Such a pleasant surprise coming across this restaurant. My mom and I were passing through last week and after wandering around a bit, decided to come in here for our food. Not only was the chef-owner friendly and jovial, but the food was incredible! I hd the chicken seekh kebab - so tender and juicy and bursting with flavour! The tandoori chicken was the same. The garlic naan was hands down one of the best I’ve had outside of India. It was hot, fresh, and soft. Flaked right apart! My mom thoroughly enjoyed her veg pakore also and the green chutney was fully on point. My mom and I agreed we could taste the love with which our food had been prepared. Highly recommend, and looking forward to returning. Thanks for a great meal!
One of the best North Indian restaurants in the city. We have been going there for over a year and the quality is very consistent. They probably make the best butter chicken GTA has to offer. It’s not too sweet and has the perfect flavour. You will find butter chicken on the menu in almost every single Indian restaurants but TNFIC do it right. They also have a variation of beef and lamb curries, which all have amazing flavours. You can adjust the spice level to your preference (to a certain degree of course without compromising the recipe). I always request the beef and lamb to be a bit spicier but it’s fantastic either way. We are also a big fan of the Onion Bhaji, it’s perfectly fried with the right amount of batter. The owner is a friendly and a hardworking man always greeting customers with a big smile. Highly recommend this place!
I had the Lamb Korma, a delicious blend of spices in a Cream Sauce on rice, and the owner gave me a free pop and was very kind and generous. This is how customers should be treated.
This restaurant is my favored. I go to many restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very warm and the cuisine they offer is so yummy. I am always happy to have a good meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
One of the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in Toronto to eat north indian cuisine that I strongly recommend. I came there 2.5 years ago and this place still stay in my mind. Customer service was good, polite. The owner is very nice too (he remembered when I was from and said "oh this is almost 2 years I didn't see you!) Cause I was abroad. I really appreciate this attention to me as a client. The food is good not too salty and not too spicy. You can dine-in (there is a buffet) or take-out
From the first moment you arrive in that place team give you an excellent feeling. Very hospitable crew, it is a happy restaurant to enjoy with friends and colleagues or with your date. Great meals, creative chef, decent price and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
I love Famous. The staff is so friendly and hospitable, and the food is excellent. I've had Indian at many restaurants but this is my absolute favourite and keeps me coming back! The flavors are sooo good.
