Delicious local restaurant filled with friendly staff and patrons. Sports playing on the tvs in the corners but never loud enough to interrupt conversation.

I've been going to this establishment for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. You can't go wrong with this restaurant, they provide good quality food with excellent service.

GREAT small town eatery. Delicious/fresh food (best chicken club I've ever had!), friendly staff, and reasonably priced.

The slowest service in the world, the servers are rude and basically forgot about us. After 45 mins they told me they forgot about my food. This place is a joke and has went down hill real fast. I will never be back. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

We ordered the sauteed fresh vegetables stir fry, all three of us. What we got was red and green peppers on a bed of rice, nothing else. So disappointed. Don't know if we'll go back.

First time coming here since the new owners, disappointed. Firstly the atmosphere would be greatly improved just by using warm lights, the white cinder walls and dim cold blue lighting lends to a very clinical and uncomfortable environment, atleast the old pictures of the town are still up, always interesting to look at. Second is the service, everyone we interacted with was polite and helpful, however having to wait 45 minutes for 2 orders of the basic breakfast is ridiculous especially in a half empty restaurant at 10: 30. Lastly the food, not much to say, sausage, home frys, and toast were good, but I ordered eggs over medium and got an undercooked sunny side up, runny egg whites is not a good look. I don't know if we just fell through the cracks, but from our experience you need to step up your game. Best of luck.

Waited 40 mins just for them to tell us they never got order did not mention that there was a long wait due to big group infront of us

Not a fancy restaurant but good food and good selections. I do recommend it and it's well priced.

First time in New Hamburg and was starving. Might be why this was the BEST EVER chicken club I had.

Not busy but order was 35 minutes. Food was hot but like under heatlamp hot and overcooked. Not impressed

This was to have been a special Valentine's lunch for my wife. We went at 11: 30 AM, knowing it could be busy. We waited well over half an hour for our meal, which was acceptable, but people who came in some time after us were served way before us. In fact, the next couple after us were finished their meal just as we started ours. Our server was gracious and efficient, but never mentioned the soup of the day, barley, which I would have had. I think the problem was in the kitchen. She did say at one point that our meals were being "plated" but it was another 20 minutes before we got them. The food was hot and excellent when it finally came. Not at all as enjoyable an experience as on our first visit, Novembee 22,2022.

My son had a bite of his Mac n cheese before realizing he didn't like it. Most places offer something else but no, here he shared my meal and I was still charged for his. Also during another visit as everyone deserves a second chance had to wait 47 minutes for a poutine. I asked the waitress a few times about it assuming they forgot my order and was told they were working on it. There were 4 other tables and they all arrived after me but received meals before me.actual meals not fries and gravy. Not a good experience during either visit

My family and I were walk ins and we know that’s a little overwhelming for a smaller restaurant but the service and food was lovely! The waitresses were extremely nice, the facility and bathrooms were clean and the waitresses make sure your food is made correctly (in case of allergies, etc).

Such a great place for family and friends to dine in for a casual get together. I was impressed with the variety of options on the menu and the portions were large and fairly priced. The food itself was awesome, fresh and great tasting. I loved the coconut shrimp and the spaghetti and meatballs. There’s an option for everyone! The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The new owners have been working really hard with taking over and it shows in their service. I highly recommend this place. I Will definitely be back!

Never disappoints. OCR is a great place to dine in or take out. Great food and fair prices.

Food is what you'd expect at a diner-style restaurant. We arrived at 9 am and had a fairly big group (9 people). It was about 9: 45 before our food started to come out, but the kitchen didn't prioritize the kids' orders. My nine-year old was served last, after 10am, long after everyone else had their meal. She was in tears. And all she ordered was PLAIN PANCAKES. We weren't impressed. To top it off, the restaurant was very cold. We all kept our hats on!

Such a great place. The food is really good. Staff is awesome. I would totally recommend this place, and will go back again.

Ordered wings, waited a bit, but understood as it was a Friday night.

Had the worst wings ever. Soggy and tasteless wings? ! How is this possible to make wings soggy? Almost as if they were frozen wings from a grocery store. Had to put them in my own fryer for another 10 minutes just so they had some flavour other than wet chicken. I couldn’t even taste the sauce from the soggy wings.

It is ok. Used to be Sunday tradition to come here for breakfast. Now they are closed Sundays. It is more expensive and has a ridiculous amount of tvs. The best part was you could come and actually pay attention to each other. Takes the charm right out of it now. This was only last gem in this town but not now. I did eat here once since change and food was still great

Went beyond my expectations! Food tasted way better than I thought it would. Menu was also very versatile which surprised me. I do recommend!

Waited an hour for the worst club house ever. It was a hunk of chicken, half cooked bacon slice, tomato slice on burnt stale toast. No cheese, no lettuce. Not a club but a terrible sandwich. Not a 3layer clubhouse. We won't be back. $42 for 2 of these and it was not worth it. Garbage.

We ordered take out last week and it was amazing! The food was piping hot, fresh and so delicious. I appreciate the variety of the menu and the AMAZING staff who always make us feel at home. Seriously, you guys rock!

My wife and I frequent your restaurant and we are never disappointed! Today was the 1st time she tried creme Brule! Says its the best she ever had! Great food great staff!

Says they are open when there not. Drove there because there web sight said open and they were closed. On more then one occasion.

Protocols in place. Chairs and tables sanitized. No waiting to get in. Friendly staff. Good food.
