I really enjoy this pub. The management made the effort to make sure my brand of beer was on hand. I'm a big fan of the Cajun wings. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is top notch. A special shout out to Heather. She alone makes it it worth coming back.

Lunch time was a good time to go. Wasn't to busy. The staff was really good. Very nice and welcoming. Started with my basic favorites i always pick when trying new places. The food was really good! Definitely will be back. Plus they were pkaying good music that made me wish i had my Drag on so i could dance. ~<3

Underrated Gem in Bomanville. Food was excellent compared to other pubs in Durham. Prices are very reasonable.

Bad looking Service was not good. Food is mediocre nothing special. No many people in this place eating.

My grandpa and I ate here last night, for the first time. We’d tried to go to Chuck’s Roadhouse in Courtice, but it was surprisingly temporarily closed. Then I remembered that a family friend had recommended this place.

I had two pounds of wings and fries. The wings were huge and plentiful, and they also tasted really good. Meanwhile, the fries were solid but unspectacular. I enjoyed my meal quite a bit.

My grandpa had a seafood fettuccine, which he said was pretty good. I think he was hoping it’d have had more than two shrimp, but he liked it.

We also had a couple Pepsis and a coffee.

Overall, the experience was quite good. The food was good, the service was very good and the waitress was very nice. It took a bit of time to get our food, but was worth it. The only real downside is that it was surprisingly pricey. Not horridly expensive, but more than expected. I’d go more often if it wasn’t.

Hopefully they will have wing deals soon.

Amazing environment, very kind staff and the food is delicious. On top of that they have great music and you can play horse races at your table. 10 star rating. Montana was out waitress and was so amazing. Will definately be coming back. The cook did an amazing job.

Came here on ladies night, place was pretty busy. Our waitress Danielle was amazing. She was the only one working and was still very attentive to everyone. Food arrived in good time and tasted great! Danielle made some delicious drinks as well. Definitely recommend.

We ordered takeout this evening and I decided to write a review while I still have the flavors in my mouth: D
I got the Loco moco and my husband grabbed a full rack of ribs with fries (it also comes with baked beans and coleslaw)

My Loco moco sold me right away- I did pick the food up about 10mins late so wasn't sure what condition the egg would be. When I opened it, the egg on top was expertly done- if I picked it up just a touch before it would have still been runny! The patty was flavorful & seasoned well, couldn't even tell if it had any filler, seemed like straight beef! Basmati rice was well done. The only thing that threw me was the gravy was a little thin and had lots of thyme/rosemary flavor.it worked ok for me but prefer a darker gravy for this dish.

The ribs were smoky & definitely fall-off-the- bone, trimmed & nice crust. The house BBQ sauce is deliciously tangy. Beans were nice, but just come in a tiny side dish & coleslaw had a decent flavor but we weren't fans.
The fries are a step above! - but again, slightly smaller portions for our takeout.

New owners and the place has been transformed to provide optimal services. One of the owner served us and she was a great host. Enjoyed the food and the evening out with the family. Recommended for a weekday dinner or weekend fun gathering.

Went to have lunch on October 20,2022 with a colleague. Montana was superb as a waitress, caring and understanding and with patience to explain the menu items to a couple of Latino travelers experiencing Canadian cuisine for the first time. Ram, the owner was kind enough to give us some of his chilies from his personal stock to try. Good spiciness. All in all, excellent service, excellent food and superb customer service. Thank you Ram and Montana for such a wonderful experience.

Amazing service! My fiancé and I went here on a sunday night because we saw so many good reviews for this place and it did not disappoint. The staff were amazing. Ordered cauliflower bites and they did not have enough for a full order so I ordered something different. Before our food was even made, the chef brought me the rest of the cauliflower and explained they just didn’t have enough and gave it to us on the house for the inconvenience. I ended up ordering a wrap and made some modifications and the chef came out to allow me to customize it and confirm it. Both of our meals were super good and everything seemed fresh. Would 100% go back again.

Had a delicious Apple Cider Pork Stew. So delicious i got 2 servings of it. Friendly staff, but the beers on tap could use on upgrade on selection. Will definitely be back.

I have been here numerous times and it is consistently beyond amazing! Every dish we have ordered has exceeded all expectations! The service is phenomenal. Highly recommend visiting the lovely staff at The Old Country Restaurant!

First time there last night. Waitress Danielle was super friendly and service was great! We all agreed that the food was fantastic.the Mexican beef wrap in particular was amazing. Will definitely be back soon

We came in for the first time on the long weekend and I have to say we had an amazing time. The staff was so friendly. Jeya our server was so fun and amazing. The food was so delicious and I want to try everything!
