Un souper samedi soir où nous étions 7. Bon service, explications et rapidité. Le chef a même proposé de faire un dessert sans produits laitiers pour la personne allergique. Tout était très bon, le cidre en pichet doux qui convenait à nos différents menus. La surprise était d avoir deux musiciens pour animer la soirée. C aurait été parfait si notre table n avait pas été si proche car nous ne pouvions plus jaser entre nous. Mais bonne ambiance!

Quaint looking old English Pub. Very good menu. Interesting appetizers. Good selection of local beers. Brie was excellent.

Cozy British/ Canadian pub/ restaurant with good service, I had the BBQ onion rings burger which is big, thick and juicy, tasty fries too. Sat inside but as was a warm day moved to the front patio, enjoyable pub, town and atmosphere.

Vraiment « british », quand nous reviendrons, c'est notre place! Nous étions un groupe et le sympathique propriétaire est même venu fraternisé avec nous! Excellente et généreuse nourriture en passant!

We had a wonderful time. First time visit will absolutely be back again. Had the chicken club with fries. It was exactly what I wanted. My table also enjoyed the children's hotdog and the Yorkies. Great atmosphere. It got super busy at lunch. The server was on her toes the whole time with others.
I would Definitely recommend this Pub to everyone and will be returning to try something new.

We were on our way to Montreal and decided to leave lunch in the old English pub. I ordered their Caesar salad, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The lettuce in the salad was noticeably rotten, leaving a foul taste in my mouth. To make matters worse, the salad was drowning in an excessive amount of sauce, overpowering any flavor that the salad could have had. What shocked me the most was the absence of any other ingredients in the salad. It was simply a sad pile of lettuce and sauce. As a fan of Caesar salads, I was truly let down by this lackluster creation. I couldn’t even finish it!
The service was so slow and I decided to leave there as soon as I paid.

Very good food with a wide selection of drinks. Not much vegetarian options, which is a problem town-wide. But food is good otherwise. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great location.

We live way out of town but stopped in just for a beer ended up meeting the owner and he's super nice and cares a lot about his employees which I don't see very much. Made me want to work there. And the employes seem happy. The place inside has a great atmosphere very British and his new addition about Winston Churchill feels like an old style library with a bit of a man's club feel. Very cozy and makes you want to sit in that area. I would recommend to visit even just for a beer

My hotel suggested I try this place. When I got there.no one came to seat me. When I walked up and asked the staff, they said they just had a rush cutomers.place was more than half empty. They said I could wait to be seated.or leave if I wanted to. So I left.and went to Mavericks.

Pub typique anglais, bien situé. Serveuse très agréable, on y mange bien et l'ambiance est festive.
S'y arrêter lors de votre passage dans le coin.

Such a cute patio! Fresh flowers on every table. The food was delicious. I ordered the truffle oil mac and cheese, my hubby had the jambalaya. Fantastic! Our server was very friendly and the food actually came so fast! Bonus, there was a puppy at the next table that wanted to be everyone's best friend. Super soft. I'm sure he's not part of the deal, though I hope everybody else also gets to pet a dog here.

The service was really slow, the waitress manager to make mistake in both ours plate. One was corrected and I'm still waiting on my mashed potatoes. Not great, regular food. Will not come back

Lieu atypique, de l'extérieur on dirait pas, mais une collection d'objets relatifs à Churchill! Menu anglais, super bon, notamment le fish and chips et hmmmm ce que nous avons adoré le "THREE CHEESE SPINACH DIP" trop trop bon, on a eu du mal à choisir tellement il y avait de plats anglais que nous ne connaissions pas, service bien; nous n'avions pas réservé mais on conseille de le faire car le resto s'est rempli très vite.

Horrible service. Super rude staff, would not recommend at all. Many other spots in the same area worth checking out over this pub:)

The hostess really didn’t give us a warm welcome at all because we never had a reservation. She kept saying “you’ll have to” sit here, wait to get a menu all because we didn’t have a reservation although we did get a seat quickly. The food was mediocre. The lobster roll was the best part of our meal.

Worst customer service ever. We had lunch there and asked for their ribs and fried chicken platter. We asked the waitress if the ribs were prok, because we dont eat pork.she said she didn't know and she'll ask, but she never got back to us. She brought the food to our table, and said yeah the ribs are pork. We asked to change the order to burgers.the manager came to tell us that we have to pay for the platters because we didn't inform the waitress that we don't eat pork. She even accused us of lying. After over an hour of waiting. We were starving the kids were cranky, we agreed to pay, we asked to change the ribs to burgers.they got the burgers without the bread or the fries, just the patties. The sauce was spicy, when I specifically asked for non spicy one. They got the fries late when we were done eating. We ended up paying for 4 meals (2 platters and 2 burgers). Plus the waitress didn't know the WiFi password, and kept giving us different passwords. The bathroom was flithy, and had a bad odor that no body bothered to clean. We couldn't wait to leave this place, it is not child friendly.

Great food, service, atmosphere and covod safety protocols in place. Thanks for having us! Definitely worth popping on for a meal, dessert or even a drink.

Food was great. The Mac and cheese and the stuffed sole special were a great lunch. Service was polite and friendly. COVID policies were upheld by the servers!

Absolutely the best place to eat. Awesome food, great prices and fantastic wait staff, especially Chelsay!

A pleasant environment. Wait staff show lack of knowledge of the menu. Had to ask the same waiter 3 times the same question. Not very friendly. I honestly think the place has potential but definitely not right now! Washroom toilet stall has a broken lock.door keeps swinging open. I think that a bit more maintenance needs to be addressed by management. Food. Potato Skins were luke warm. Soup of the day was red Pepper. It was supposed to be hot but came to the table cold. Curried Lamb sliders were mediocre. Overall, the dining experience at this establishment was sub par. Unless you were absolutely drunk and came to this establishment to recover would you find this this place passable. If youre not drunk, walk a couple of door to the next establishment, you'll be treated better!

We always have a good experience here, whether just at the bar for a drink or for a meal. Burgers are especially good. Servers are always friendly.

Wonderful staff. Great selection of real craft beer. Great pub food. Love the big blue burger. Affordable. Great atmosphere and we could hear each other talk - 8 of us.

Excellent food! My husband said it was the best burger (You Had me at Bacon burger) he has ever had. Gluten free lava cake was the bomb! Loved the sweet potato fries! Very friendly staff! Nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again if in the area!

Great service! We arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen was closing without knowing and our waitress was able to get us the food we wanted. Plus gave free sample of beer when I didn't know what to order. Food was great! Would recommend the wings if you like them crispy.

A nice spot in downtown Gananoque to grab a pint and watch the game. I recommend the wagyu burger. The service was a little slow waiting on food however the server kept the beverages coming while we waited on our food.

Very nice place to sit, eat and enjoy a night out. We have stayed in a place not far away and saw this pub deciding we would have dinner here.
Result: fantastic waitress, great food, great choice, fair price.
Got: 1 stuffed potato skins, 1 curry chicken and 2 chicken tenders with fries. 2 gingerales, 2 medium amber beers. 1spiced apple crumble cake with peacans and vanilla ice cream. 103 Canadian dollars. 72 euros. Nice. Recommendeed. Absolutely

The blue cheese burger was to die for! The atmosphere was cozy yet roomy. I would definitely go there again if I'm in Gananoque, ON again

Amazing time! Had a reservation and got a great booth, our server was on spot and had us in food and drink in no time. Food was perfect (had the beef medalion and was perfect. Will definitely be back
