The Old Station Restaurant

We had the lamb burger with truffle fries along with French Onion Soup and Caesar salad with garlic bread. Service was excellent.
Beautiful old and well cared for heritage building with exposed brickwork and old wooden posts.

My recent visit to The Old Station Restaurant in Bracebridge left me with mixed feelings. I must say, the Cream of Mushroom soup of the day was a standout - flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the main course, the Fish and Chips.

We ordered three servings of what was supposed to be cod, but to our disappointment, the fish was far from the expected quality. The color was a concerning shade of grey instead of the anticipated flaky white. Even more disheartening was the scarcity of fish on the plate; it seemed like we were served more batter than actual fish. The overall quality of our meal was substandard, to say the least.

While the Cream of Mushroom soup managed to salvage some part of our dining experience, the lackluster Fish and Chips overshadowed it. Regrettably, we probably won't be returning to The Station House, and it's difficult to recommend it based on our recent encounter. Hopefully, improvements can be made to ensure a more consistent and enjoyable dining experience for future patrons.

The worst food. We had prime rib that tasted like rubber and was luke warm. The Yorkshire pudding was like dry like cardboard. The manager was rude and obnoxious. If you want delicious food and be treated respectfully never eat there.

Decor was pleasant, food was delicious and outstanding and service was excellent. Most definitely will come back

Prime rib was cold and tough. Yorkshire pudding absolute garbage. Onion soup yuck. We sent it back and still charged us for it saying they couldn't resell it. Are u kidding.

Took the family out for dinner here food was really good service was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was and the quality of food was not sacrificed doing so our server was great very friendly definitely recommend

Fantastic! Showed up with 18 people at 2pm. Able to accommodate immediately. Service was great and quick. Everyone had something different, and not one person was unhappy! Will definitely be back. Thankyou! Great portion sizes and delicious!

Very good food they did mix up my drink but they corrected at and gave me the wrong drink on the house. Very good would recommend

I've been to many sushi places. The sushi is fine at Wabora, not as flavorful as others I've had, and you only get 5-8 pieces. Very over-priced for what you get.

A place my family and I frequent for dine in and take out. Great food and super friendly staff always.

Prime rib ordered med. Rare was tough.and even difficult to cut.chef never came out after i complained.they deducted off my bill. Waitress promoted prime rib as award winning.very surprised.should have stuck to pub food

We walked in at 718PM and the server looked at me and said restaurant is closed, although everyone was there and closing time was 8 pm. I didn't get it if my appearance or ethnicity had anything to do with it.

Food was great, veggie burger and Cauliflower crisp sandwich is something you should definitely try. Service was good as well. Overall, enjoyed our time and every single one of us enjoyed their respective meals.:)

Amazing food - staff needs a bit more friendliness but they weren't terrible. Pricing us fair for their food given the quality is exceptional. Nice to see vegetarian options. I would love to see why they can do with vegan.

The patio was a fresh and enjoyable spot to eat while appreciating the shade and the bustle of the street. The food was tasty and the service pleasant.

Old Station is the perfect example of a great restaurant. The prices, while somewhat higher, are extremely reasonable for the portion and quality of the food. The service is incredible and the food amazing. We didn't have to wait long and greatly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and I absolutely plan on returning when back in the area. The Hamburger was one if the best tasting and large that I have ever had. Highly, highly recommend this one.

Excellent food and excellent service however the kitchen appeared to be backed up and was rather slow. Thankfully everything else made up for it.

Went on a Tuesday evening and sat on the patio. Excellent, fast and friendly service. Had a great time. Ordered the smoked Mac and Cheese. It was good but for $30 I would not order again. If I spend that on a pasta dish, I expect to be blown away.

Burger and Lamb burgers were very good. Muskoka Brewery sodas were great. There's a kids menu. The loaded poutine is also delicious with amazing dark gravy and is a pretty large portion. A little pricey for some higher tier items, but they're probably worth it from what we had.

My friends and I had a delicious dinner there with huge portions! The place filled up quickly just after we arrived.

Great place and very good food. We sat at the patio, service was quick and the food was delicious. They are more of a lunch/dinner place than a brkfst place but lots of good variety on the menu.

Had a wonderful dining experience. Caesar salad was incredible and the ambiance of the location was great.

Had the hot wings.a warning should have been given.this was hotter than the suicide wings at wing place. Also quite fatty.
Also ordered the pork tacos which were just ordinary. The place is nice though.

Got there right before they were closing (7: 50) we were able to order and were given great service. My wife and I got the prime rib, soup of the day, which was cream of mushroom, deep fried pickles and Califluor bites. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place.

Great service and delicious veggie burger, great mixed green side salad. My friend ordered the wings which could have been cooked longer but the sauce was very tasty. Lovely spot!

Delicious food! The soup of the day is generally mushroom.and it's delicious. The calamari perfectly fried and the flat iron steak is perfectly cooked. Never had a bad meal. They are following strict COVID policy and tables are spaced comfortably apart with dividers. Finally the servers are friendly knowledgeable and awesome. I only wish they would take reservations.that would give this place 5 stars!

This is a great place to stop for a meal. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food is generous and delicious. The small patio is the place to be on a warm day.
