I have been quite impressed with the caliber of specialization and professionalism offered at The One Face and Body Bar. Pre-screening, medical background questionnaires are followed by a one-on-one consultation depending on the procedure being administered. As a regular client who trusts only the safest and most reputable treatments, I have confidently brought my elderly Mother in for regular age spot treatments as well with impressive results. Also the only place I will go to for a manicure and pedicure. MJ and her core team are truly amazing. Highly recommend!

The One Face And Body Bar is always a great experience, I personally come here for my lip filler appointments with Amy, Amy is so talented at what she does and continuously keeps up to date with her education. Amy is perfect if you want a more natural look when it comes to filler and Botox, she has made me feel so confident by enhancing my natural beauty. If you've been unsure about filler or Botox come in for a consultation she is amazing at explaining everything you need to know!

The Staff here are all so sweet and welcoming and same with the owners. The facility and spa itself is always clean and set up beautifully with a gorgeous simple modern look. The One is definitely a luxurious spa in the heart of Barrie and I recommend this place to everyone!

I have been going to The One since they opened. I get waxes done there and have recently begun laser hair removal. I cannot recommend The One enough. MJ is one of the sweetest women I know. She is phenomenal, as is Jasmin who I now see for laser/waxing. Get your treatments here! You won’t be disappointed.

Best spa experience in Barrie!

I recently purchased the Wrap and Nap from TFBB and was blown away by the experience. I consider myself a a day spa aficianado, and in my opinion you will be pleasantly surprised by this gem. The service performed by Samantha was professional and thourough. The keen attention to detail including hair protection, clear communication and expert application techinique was greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to my next visit!

I’m sure their medical treatments are top notch and I genuinely didn’t want to post this but the shellac manicures here aren’t up to par.

They peel off in under 4 days. The actual service staff are lovely and great to talk to but the nail products just weren’t of quality or value.

Regarding the reply - please emphasize to your clients that vegan nail polish, while more ethical, is not as long lasting. I would have never opted for the shellac option over a regular nail polish if the vegan benefits made it less effective than regular brands. As I’m sure you’re aware, shellac is praised for its durability and the expectations weren’t met.

I trust this feedback has been useful and future clients will be spared the disappointment.

MJ is very knowledgeable in regards to electrolysis and laser hair removal with many years of experience. She is very compassionate and she provides a LGBTQ+ positive space. I would highly recommend her business and couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience.

I have visited Amy twice for both Botox and Filler. During each of my visits, she went over in detail what would be beneficial for the areas I wanted to improve (e.g, forehead lines, crows feet, in between the eyebrows, and lips). She was vigilant in making sure I understood the procedures and consented before moving forward. Amy made me feel comfortable during my treatment and always let me know when she was going to "poke" the area that was being treated. After having filler in my lips to add hydration, a little volume and balance proportions, Amy made sure to stay in touch, following up with me afterwards to make sure I was healing properly. I am beyond thrilled with my results and feel 15 years younger! I feel more confident in myself now than I have in years! Thank you Amy for bringing my youthfulness back! I will definitely be going back to see her in the near future!

I’ve had two laser hair removal treatments so far and I’m so so impressed with the progress! I see a huge difference and it’s a super quick appointment. MJ and her machine is AMAZING - she went above and beyond by doing a larger area than originally thought needed and her prices are very reasonable and totally worth the treatment. 10/10 recommend!

I saw Katelyn for my lip flip! I was super nervous about it and she made the whole experience so much fun! She told me everything about the procedure what to look out for during the settling period etc.my lips are on day 5 and they look amazing! Katelyn is also always down to answer a question on FB. I can’t say enough about how much I love visiting this place. After a consult with MJ, I purchased a laser genesis package with micro needling. I had 2 laser treatments followed by one micro needling, and another laser. I couldn’t believe the improvement in my skin. I have had issues with acne scarring and large pores most of my adult life. The spots are just fading away. I can’t wait for my last two treatments. The spa staff are nice, the place is spotless, and they are adhering to all covid precautions. MJ is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. She also helped with choosing the right serum and wash for my face. Both have helped my skin tremendously. I will continue to visit for all my spa needs.

Every time I enter The One FABB it is always clean and I am always greeted with a smile. Drove up to Barrie from Toronto for a pedicure! Service was exceptional and spa was CLEAN. Even during these unprecedented times (covid-19) I felt extremely comfortable to be in the spa! I would definitely go again.

Amazing experience, I had the Microdermabrasion and I can't wait for my next appointment. My face was glowing after. Devon was so great at explaining everything and made me so comfortable.

I thought it was a good facial until a few weeks later I developed a severe cystic acne in one of the area the owner performed an exaction. It has costed me more than $500 to have the acne treated in another clinic.

I've been seeing MJ for about 4 years now. She's the only one I trust with any of my skincare needs and treatments. I get compliments all the time and highly recommend her to all my family and friends. Wish I could give her more stars for her excellent service. Thank you MJ!

I was super nervous about going in to have laser hair removal. I'm a laid back, no nail polish, messy hair in a bun kinda gal but this area of my body was leaving me feeling super self conscious. As soon as I walked into The One I was greeted by the friendliest staff who understood exactly how I was feeling. They were kind, respectful, encouraging and answered all of my questions. Not only did I notice amazing results after the first treatment, an area that I was super self conscious about is now a non-issue and I'm feeling full confidence. I continue to be amazed every time I visit the cleanliness, atmosphere and comfort I experience. This is a professional business I would highly recommend.

As the previous appointment, yesterday (August 1st) was my second appointment with Mrs. Minjung Lee for my first experience with The One Signature Facial. This facial service is absolutely different from The One Express Facial which would be more steps including deep cleansing, toning the face, skin analysis, exfoliating, steaming with both steaming machine + Ozone (timing of the steaming step will depend on each skin type and skin condition) and hot towel, extraction with both extracting tools and manual method (using hands and gauzes), toning the skin, doing massage, cleaning and drying the skin, applying mask, removing mask and toning the skin, moisturizing and applying sunscreen.

This service will be added the Microdermabrasion that is beneficial for those with enlarged pores, dull lifeless skin like mine, acne scars, and for aging as well (fine lines, sun damage, and facial imperfections). Also, this will leave the skin smooth, bright and youthful in appearance which I was looking for my current skin condition after the second facial service. Honestly, I can see the huge different of skin tone from dull skin to brighten skin and would love her massage so much!

Also, MJ is so patience to figure out which color of foundation will be the best for my skin tone. Most of the foundation brands no matter from the drug stores or high-end brands nowadays are so good; however, finding the foundation for acne skin/ adult acne is the tricky part because you do not want your foundation to affect your current acne. Then, she found Youngblood Liquid Mineral Foundation – SAND which is the best suitable for my skin tone and my skin condition.

For my next appointment with Mrs. Minjung, it could be The One Signature Facial or Laser that depends on how my skin will be improved after this second service. By the way, thank you so much for the awesome service yesterday. Much appreciate, Mrs. MJ

My service with The Once Express Facial service was last week. MJ suggested me to try the Eminence Organic Skincare Kit (Cleansing Foam, Clarifying Masque and Clarifying Hydrator) from Hungary.

Today, I am so happy with the best results: my skin is smoother, the acnes are clearing though it still has pimples. It absolutely can understand because I just finished 1 treatment.

Right now, I am so excited to have the next appointment with MJ next month. Once again, thank you so much for her beauty inside, and her staffs are so friendly and patient as well. I am truly grateful for it!
