The Ordinary. DECIEM The Abnormal Beauty Company

First time seeing this store or products. I'm an esthetician by trade but open to trying new things. This building is very clean, bright, and laid out well. The packing is simple, and the costs are shockingly low! I'm used to spa prices that double costs. I grabbed a lash and brow serum for 15$ only. At the cash, I was offered a free serum to try! That was exciting. I'm also impressed that my friend, had 2 lash serums for her girls Xmas stalking stuffers. The amazing cashier said it was cheaper to get the dual pack on sale. That is fantastic customer service. We all got the samples. All of us have Esthetics backgrounds. I'm excited to see my results. Thank you for a great 1st impression.

The prices have increased more than 70% in leas than two years and they discounted excellent products… not the best brand anymore.

The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with everything from giving directions to the store when lost in the Distillery with only 15 mins till they close, to having a “safe product/ingredient binder” for pregnant or nursing mothers.

You can’t beat the quality, especially at the price point (I hope the company always stays true to top quality on an accessible to many, affordable price point). The store is gorgeous and soothing and located at a place that offers much to be entertained by. Getting your face serum is easily a Saturday afternoon family outing given the setting. The distillery and the Ordinary store are both a joy to wander around in and patronize.

Guillaume is the most knowledgeable and hardworking manager I’ve seen! He’s always helping customers and spends time with building a skin regimen or recommend products for you!

Ailinn is also very nice and friendly! I love her energy!

Nesli and Jan are so adorable keyholders! Lots of energy and so knowledgeable!

Hope, Betty, Eva and Amanda are also very helpful! These girls will take care of you and your skin! 10/10 recommend this location!

The customer service was terrible. When we walked in there was no one else in the store. The two staff members were deep in conversation and didn’t greet us or acknowledge us. We browsed the shelves and when we couldn’t find what we were looking for we asked for help.
We were told that the product we were looking for was no longer available… “so sorry…” she said and literally turned back to her conversation with her coworker. I asked if they had something similar and was told “Yes, but it’s REALLY expensive”. Again she turned back to her conversation. What a degrading experience!

Do you want to sell products? Because obviously your staff don’t care if they sell anything.
I won’t be shopping at your location again. The one in Kensington Market is MUCH better. The staff at that location are really lovely and helpful.

Purchased the 2% retinol and used it once when I realized that the bottle was half empty. I had a major break-out after this. I called customer service to address the issue, which was unhelpful. Went back to the store and the male worker from Germany (Gellium?) gave me a proper and helpful response to the situation. Validated that it's not okay I was sold a half empty bottle, and verified it even smelled off. I understood that many things could've happened to cause this accident, and appreciated that he offered me a small discount to replace the item. Check your product before using, peeps. 4-stars strictly for the worker.

The associate, Nesli, was very helpful. She answered all our questions and gave us very helpful suggestions. She even offered to write up a skincare routine that we can follow. We appreciate all her help. We will definitely be back because of her. Thank you so much!
