Marinated short ribs were not marinated! Meat was fully frozen and stuck together when it was supposed to be marinated. Never going back there again.

I had a very disappointing experience with this store today. I didn't want to leave any bad comment to any business in this difficult time when many small businesses struggle due to COVID. But what I experienced today was completely unacceptable and it required attention.
I visited this place every time I went to North York area. Even though this place was more expensive than other asian butcher shops, I didn't mind paying extra for good quality products they used to offer. I started finding more and more fat in the meat and often those fatty ones were hidden underneath the good looking ones. So I decided to look more closely this time before I buy. Slices displayed look good, so I asked one of the employees to put them in a container to purchase. Then I saw him filling a container with slices with full of fat. I asked him to replace them with ones with less fat but he refused, because as per him, if everyone takes good ones only, the store will be left with bad ones which no one else will buy. Does it mean customers must have a mix of good and bad ones so the store can sell out bad ones at a price of good one? He even asked me to leave the store if I'm not willing to take those fatty ones along. So I left the store.
This was absolutely horrible experience and I don't think I will ever come back to this place.
Anyone who will visit this store should always check carefully what they are really paying for.

A man is really sweet! I didn't get a chance to get his name.he was willing to marinate beef for me when ribs was out of stock.excellent service! Their meats are so good!

With their meats you don’t have to be a good cook. Just grill it and dip with sea salt, everything just like perfect.

Their meat is so good and so reasonable in price. I always go here for my meat shop! Even the deliveries are amazing look at the quality of the meat I got! It was so yummy…!

This place is a great local meat shop to say the least. And before covid I would give them 4 maybe 5 stars. In the height of covid only 3 of the 5 employees were wearing their mask properly. Why bother wearing a mask on your chin? Worst, they kept wandering the tiny store going about making it impossible to come within 2 meters of them. Needless to say I will not be going again until the pandemic is over.

Great quality and amazingly nice people. I also love that they now have a website open for delivery! (Delivery service is great, too). Love ordering from here: D I seriously cannot think of anything bad to say about here.

I have purchased box of beef and lamb, good meat, fair price but there is no English label on any product. Would you guys place English label on your products?
