Love love LOVE this store! Very friendly staff on top of their selection of dried flowers (that are local) are the best and a reasonable price. The whole store is so aesthetically pleasing everywhere I look something catches my eye and I always end up leaving with more than I came in for! Definitely give yourself time to explore the vintage section downstairs too!

You step off the hustle and bustle of James Street into an oasis. All your senses are satisfied by this beautifully staged shop. No matter who I’m shopping for, the owners help me find the perfect gift. One that I feel good buying and the recipient loves receiving. A walk down James St. N doesn’t feel complete unless there’s time to stop in and wander around the Pale Blue Dot. Unique products, friendly staff and a very cool vintage/antique section! Only wish that it was open past 5pm on weekdays for emergency gift purchases!

Absolutely love this shop! Every item I have purchased has been excellent quality, and when I have gifted items, the recipient has always loved it! You can find something for everyone, especially the people who seem to have it all!

The owners and staff are super sweet and they have a lot of unique pieces in their shop. My daughter sets up out front of the store monthly during art crawl and they have gone out of their way to be kind to her. Definitely a great place to browse for gifts or meaningful pieces for the home.

Such a cute store with lots of eco-friendly and natural products. It’s beautifully laid out and cozy- makes you want to do a photoshoot in the space and never leave. They carry essential oils to candles and fedoras. They have local products as well as some harmonic arts products.

Unique place with lovely vintage & antique furniture & decor plus an array of eco-friendly goods. Great place to find a gift or treat yourself! The staff are awesome and truly dedicated to a better future for the planet. I noticed this place because of the gorgeous window display, but the rest of the store is just as appealing and not as pricey as I'd assumed. If you haven't been in here, its worth a visit for sure.

You can always find a gift for someone at this store. I love wandering in and finding a treasure. They do a great job curating antiques and style their shop as if it's a warm home they are inviting you to. The staff are so lovely. They have so many environmentally conscious products. Even if you are window shopping it's a great place to visit.

Went to the store a few weeks ago with my daughter as I had purchased a gift certificate back when COVID started. I knew the family as they had purchased items for their vintage area from me but had not got a chance to go in. We had a lot of fun chatting with Nancy and poking around. My daughter picked up some vintage postcards and I got jam and honey and pesto and deodorant and some essential oil drops which work amazingly well. We will definitely be back! Would be nice to see some more items from local small businesses available.

Love having The Pale Blue Dot right around the corner from my house. I have purchased everything from my living room antique chairs to my daily deodorant. Just went back today to pick up another thing of the Cannon St. Soap Co. Natural Deodorant. It is the best natural deodorant I have tried. Keeps me smelling good all day and no reaction like other natural deodorants with baking soda in it.

I wish every city in the world could have a Pale Blue Dot. If every city had an alternative to greenwashed big box shopping with amazing community driven owners like this shop does, I truly believe the world would be a better place. This family run shop is filled to the brim with practical and whimsical treasures. Every time I go in the shop, I feel a deep, grounding dedication to vote with my dollars and make my lifestyle a more sustainably focused one. If you're in the Hamilton area, it's a must-stop.

Stopped by very quickly for my first visit and picked up the shaving soap (it's amazing! And I know it'll last forever so very good bang for your buck) and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Very good local spot for more sustainable items!

This beautiful shop gives me the resources to outfit my home and my life ethically, with their sustainable and fair trade goods. This is one of the best spots in Hamilton. High quality, absolutely gorgeous products ranging from new handmade and sustainable products, to antique and vintage furniture, decorations and clothes. The ladies that run this place are wonderful to deal with and always super friendly.

The Pale Blue Dot is a gem in our city. They offer the most wonderful goods and the owners and staff are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. If you're looking for sustainable goods or vintage furniture, this is the spot. They also have an online shop, so don't hesitate to check them out or reach out to them with a question - they're truly there to help.

This is overall a lovely store. Some nice eco friendly products and beautifully displayed. However, I was in recently and asked a sales associate about the “Au Natural” candles - wondering whether they are strictly essential oils or fragrance oils. She assured me she had looked it up herself and only essential oils were used. Long story short - I checked online and there are fragrance oils used so I’m glad I didn’t purchase for a mostly “scent-free” friend. It would also be nice to see more Ontario and Hamilton based products imo.

Cute little shop in downtown Hamilton that supports local businesses. They have many eco-friendly products and some unique antiques that would be a great fit for any household.

A lovely and absolutely gorgeous store! They stock a large selection of sustainable solutions to common single use items. The basement is filled with antique furniture and other pieces and is always changing.

This place is so beautiful and has some really neat environmentally friendly products from kitchen to bathroom; there are even some cute antiques and vintage clothes downstairs.
