Huge downgrade.so disappointing.
I've been frequenting this place since they opened, and I've put on all my family and friends to it. It was our favorite place in Durham. However I hadn't gone since November 2023 as I was pregnant, and went today.
The prices went up, the boxes got way smaller, the portions of protein and toppings and everything else are way smaller, and it just doesnt taste the same.probably won't be going back.so sad. Hope the owner sees this and makes changes as I've seen similar reviews from others.

It was our first time trying it, and we were pleasantly impressed. Every mouthful was delicious! Beautifully presented and very tasty. Got the Lava Blaze and Rip Tide - very fresh fish, meat, and veggies. 100% recommend.

Literally the best poke in this side of Toronto. My go to for lunch. Perfect spot to sit down for a nice lunch. Cute space

First time having a Poke Box!

I found it very delicious and convenient, I wasn’t over sure what to order. The service was a little slow with only four customers in the store.

Overall the food was what made the experience, yummy.

Got the poke box and substituted the salmon for tofu. Was a bit more expensive then I was expecting but got two meals out of it. Very delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

I have been to the Poke Box about 5 times since they have opened and I have yet to be disappointed. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty, and the staff is always so friendly. I am so happy we have this gem in Whitby!

Love the restaurant decor which makes the space look fresh and welcoming, just like the food and where it originates from. The complexity of all the various choices can be off putting but with the guidance of the staff you can become a Poke Box expert. The food is fresh, exciting and tasty - an awesome addition to Whitby! I can't say enough of all the flavour profiles available to patrons and the combos that make eating a poke box just mouth wateringly delicious. I plan to visit the restaurant a lot more in the months ahead and encourage everyone to try a poke box at least once in their lifetime. Gluten free options are available but always check with staff to ensure they meet your needs.

So glad this place opened up, we needed something like this out here in Whitby. As soon as you walk in, the place is bright and lively and you're immediately welcomed. The staff was very patient and very helpful and fully explained everything. The food was amazing and so good!

We just tried this place for the first time and we were so happy we did! Everything was so fresh and delicious. We work two doors down and are so excited for a new lunch spot. Will definitely be back:)

I recently visited The Poke Box and was blown away by the excellent customer service and fresh, delicious food. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu and recommend some of their most popular items. Their attention to detail and customer service truly made the experience special. The poke bowls were fresh and full of flavor. The ingredients were crisp and tasted as though they had been carefully selected and prepared. The portions were generous, and I left feeling full and satisfied. I especially appreciated that the menu offered a variety of options to choose from, so I was able to customize my meal to my liking. Overall, I had an outstanding experience at The Poke Box and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, delicious food and excellent customer service. I used to frequent the downtown Toronto street location and am please that they now have one local to me! This place makes the best, cleanest and freshest poke bowls around!

I highly recommend this place. We visited last night and ordered 5 boxes to take away. The staff were amazing and made it such an enjoyable experience. I had the poke box and loved it. My brother had the Ruffled Up and raved about it. Great customer service and great food!

I just have to start with one word: Wow. Staff is super efficient, kind and helpful navigating all the options. Reasonable price $20 before tax for a massive bowl, which filled me up (200 lb+ guy). Incredibly fresh, delicious and balanced. Ruffled bowl with smoked duck was tantalizing, and tempura shrimp was out of this world. This was the best meal I’ve eaten in a while. I actually can’t wait to go back!

One point of feedback to the staff: y’all seemed a little frantic, just relax, you’re all doing a great job!

Thrilled to see a poke place in Whitby! Tried this with my wife and it did not disappoint! Food tastes fresh, location is clean and staff are friendly and helpful.

Really glad a poke spot opened up in Durham. The staff are really friendly and personable. I’ve only tried their signature Poke Box bowl so far and it was great, can’t wait to try their other signature bowls!

My husband & I are excited to know that we have The Poke Box close to home. I ordered the Poke box with corn instead of red onion. It's refreshing and so good! Highly recommended.
