The food was amazing! It was my first time using the too good to go app. I would highly recommend this place. The gentleman who served me was pleasant and very helpful!

Ordered from app ‘to good to go’, I have not tried this place before and figured it would be a good opportunity since I love Portuguese chicken…
I lost track of time and realized I was half hour past the pick up time, whoops, I called the restaurant directly and was told that it is ok I can still come (sounded like I called someone’s living room/unprofessional) got into my car and drove 15 minutes to get there, was asked if I’m Kaite I said yes and grabbed the order and walked out and realized this was heavy and there was a different last name…. I brought it back in and explained, he took the order back, didn’t thank me, asked why I said my name is Kaite when he confirmed (because it is…), then said he can’t give me the order I just drove for because it somehow was marked not picked up… what a waste of gas/time, because of this I will not return, horrible customer service/lack of professionalism.

Absolutely delicious! The flavors at The Portuguese Chicken Guys are unmatched. The peri-peri sauce adds a fantastic kick to the already succulent chicken. I can't get enough of it!

We ordered take out for a group of 7. We chose chicken, ribs, potatoes, croquettes and a few other items. Everything was delicious! The chicken and potatoes were so flavourful. The sauce was fantastic. The guests were raving about the food. The communication process to order was super smooth and easy. We will absolutely order again!

Food is hot, fresh and seasoned well. Portions are substantial. Desserts are highly recommended.

The tarts are to die for its really good and the food portions are good. The rice, potatoes and chicken are taste great.

We ordered from this restaurant for takeout dinner and it did not meet the expectations. As you can see from the pictures below, the chicken is not fully cooked. It still had blood! Seems like they rushed it. It's not fair spending $90 for 5 meals. Very disappointing and won't come back again.

I ordered delivery for the family special with chicken, fish fillets, potatoes & coleslaw. Let's just say the food was soo delicious their was no left overs! Finger licking good & very fresh.
The next day I ended up swinging by to try the chicken sandwich, omg.the best chicken sandwich around. The bun was super fresh & chicken was juicy! The owner is super friendly & makes the food with care & love! Truly a hidden gem

I contacted Andrew at PC Guys 2 days prior to an event and he was so helpful and worked within my budget. The food was delicious. They also had this really delicious fried fish. Everyone was happy.

First time trying out this place as they now have a location in Etobicoke. Guy was working by himself so had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth the wait! Definitely going again.

The best Portuguese food I ever had. The restaurant is modern. All food are cooked in a Rational German machine. The chicken is roasted in a rousting machine from France. All top equipment. A saw it when I went there to visit the restaurant!

Hubby and I shared a half chicken dinner and it was plenty of delicious food for both of us! The chicken was juicy and so full of flavor. Will definitely come back!

I have tried to come to this place multiple times wanting to try out this new spot and they are always closed despite their website saying they are open. What a waste of time, I rather goto the Portuguese chicken house where their chicken is delicious and the staff are so pleasant. The Portuguese chicken guys are a joke.

I honestly don't think Portuguese guys own or run this place. There is no way this food is being cooked or prepared by Portuguese people because Portuguese people would never serve this quality of food to their customers. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and small fries, the sandwich was so small and dry with 3 small strips of onions and red peppers, the meat was tough and didn't taste fresh at all. It was like chewing rubber. I paid 17.50 for this tiny sandwich and 6.50 for a small box of bland fries. If you are going to price gauge at least make the food fresh and tasty.

It was a bad experiences the chicken was salty and dry the rice under cooked the salad was bad I honestly didn’t like none of the food big disappointment.

Showed up at 12: 45 PM in advance of 1: 00 opening.
Employee inside saw me and a few others (including Uber Eats delivery guy) waiting for them to open to grab lunch (team lunch in my case).

At 1: 05 (after we had to knock on door) he comes out to say he wants to open at 2: 00, not 1: 00, and to come back.

So, no. The answer is "No, won't ever be coming back. "

The chicken is so good, and highly recommend to have it with the potatoes! Perfect match! Don't forget to try their egg tart ️

This chicken was the most flavourful chicken I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. And they’re dessert tarts have become my new all time favourite dessert. Top notch service and incredible authentic cuisine, highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

My girlfriend and I spent the week in Toronto dining at many different restaurants. This place was without a doubt the best experience we had. Not only was the service top notch, the food was such a refreshing change from the ordinary dining experience. These guys truly bring you on an experience with there craft!

I definitely reccomend this location if you're feeling for that authentic Brazilian street side flavor. Personally, Portuguese Chicken guys are a bit better.

The problem with this place is inconsistent quality; some days you'll get a really great tasting meal, but some days you won't. Half the time the fish will either be overcooked and burnt, the oil will taste weird, you'll only get one piece of fish instead of two, some of the potatoes will be cooked perfectly and then others are are undercooked and as crunchy as apples. This place would be 5/5 for me if they were even close to consistent with the food quality.

This is the best Portuguese Chicken restaurant in Toronto! Hands down! Absolute amazing, healthy and delicious! I have several food allergies and sensitive stomach that makes me feel sick when I eat bad or poor quality food. I've been eating there for many years and I feel 100% safe eating their delicious food which makes me healthy and nurtures my body! On top of that, Andrew and Kristi-Anne Bell and the whole staff are very friendly, hardworking, fast and helpful! Thank you for offering such a great service for the community!:)

My mother took me to this place, which she really likes. The food was very flavorful. The attendant was really polite and the place was clean. The price was great, very good value. Portuguese chicken done right. I will definitely be back!

If i could rate it a 0 i would. I’ve tried to order from these guys multiple times through uber and each time my driver tells me the food isn’t ready yet and when i reorder i’m left waiting AGAIN just for the restaurant to close and me wait 2 hours with no food. GARBAGE service - especially considering they won’t even pick up the phone when open.

Wanted to support local (especially as they’re also offering Halal options!). However the chicken is the exact same as the Lob Grocery store- and super bland.
The hot sauce? -Tobasco-
the rice - red in colour so I assumed some flavour but it was also so plain and oddly without any taste!
Big portions…. ‍️
The potatoes were soft, the fries were
okay. But defo not worth it!

Have ordered numerous times from here and am always happy.chicken is amazing, fish is phenomenal and rice and potatoes hit the spot, don't forget to put the hot sauce on too.there is a mango dessert that I have to get every time.have ordered for family occasions and I never have leftovers unfortunately.keep it up!

Portuguese tarts were the highlight. Unfortunately the chicken was super dry and the potatoes weren't put in the oven and had no paprika. Would not order again.

I love this restaurant. Though parking is not easy and I live far away, I often come here for the juicy rotisserie chicken with fried rice and buttery soft potato balls. Everything is oily & greasy but the tastes are worth dying for. The pastel de natas are not very good though (the gooey custard has more flour than egg). Understandably, they're the sideshows to the chicken feature presentation. Prices are reasonable. My dinner for two (a half chicken combo and 2 egg tarts) is about $20 (tax included).

Ordered take out from here 2 times and it's so good! Chicken is juicy and flavourful. All the sides are fantastic too.

I ordered for a team lunch of 10 people today. We opted for individual meals vs.family style (C19) and each meal was packaged and labelled clearly. Portion sizes were huge - especially for a lunch - and the food was delicious. Salads were fresh, chicken and fish were moist, can't speak to the rice, but the potatoes were great, too. I would definitely order again!

The chicken was pretty moist and the beans were a unique side and had a really good flavor. On the other hand, over half of the round potatoes I got were raw. I ended up having to finish cooking them in my own oven. After roasting them for 20-30 minutes, they were okay. I would definitely avoid this side in the future.

I ordered the large potato balls as a side dish. The large container was only 75% full. The potato was too salty for my liking and about a quarter of the balls were raw. I might give them another chance but it wouldn't be my priority especially when there are other chicken places around.

We got a family meal with a full chicken, full rack of ribs and 3 sides. We added 4 natas to the order as well.
It was over $100 ordered through Uber eats with tax and driver tip.

Chicken: incredibly dry. The white meat was practically inedible and sucked the moisture out of your mouth

Ribs: excellent. Absolutely perfect, the only thing I would want is for them to include a sauce on the side.

Sides: seasoned rice was seasoned rice. Potato balls were potatoes balls. Coleslaw was good. The sides are as basic as it gets.this might be traditional but there was nothing to write home about. I can say the balls were not raw as some people have mentioned.

Natas were excellent and still warm when we got them. Whether they were freshly baked or just warmed up, either way it was a nice touch.

In the end, I wouldn't order chicken from this chicken place again

I used to patronize another Portuguese chicken place that recently closed. Decided to try this place out.

I ordered the fish combo with round potatoes and rice. The fish was terrific.not greasy. Potatoes had a great flavour and the rice was good. As far as value. Portion was huge and the price was reasonable. I could only eat half.

Ordered for pick up and it was there waiting. Very easy transaction

The food is so good here. The roasted chicken is beyond this world moist and tender. If you haven't been here you must try! I had order half chicken dinner and it was enough for two people. The staff are fast and efficient.

Amazing rotisserie chicken that is great value. The owners given impeccable service. Custard tarts are great. Be sure to order the potatoes. The fries leave something to be desired. Probably the best rotisserie chicken in Toronto.

Very good, moist chicken. Fries were not bad and coleslaw was pretty good. These cod fish croquettes were amazing. The pecan butter tart down by look great but tasted great.

This place is really inconsistent with their food. I had recently bought chicken and it tasted wonderful, it was well cooked and seasoned. I bought another chicken and side of potatoes a second time recently and this time the chicken was very rough, dry and hard. The potatoes on the other hand were great, they were soft easy to chew and seasoned. I really liked the potatoes so I only bought the side of potatoes this time around and it was very bad. The potatoes were not as seasoned as last time and when eating i felt as though they were really undercooked. It was really hard to chew and not as soft as it usually is. However the packaging for take out is really secure, the portions are large and the prices are okay. Some days the food will be great and other days the food will be subpar.

Best authentic Portuguese chicken spot around very clean environment, great for takeout. Always fresh delicious food and the owners are always so welcoming, Its always been very consistent and for sure has best custard tarts in the city always fresh out of the oven, forever my go to Portuguese chicken spot. My most worst experiance of Portuguese Chicken. I was with my wife on a wheelchair and walking by on College. My wife saw the guy putting his chicken on the rottisory. Looked so appetizing. She said i want that for dinner. I went in and asked for a full chicken a little more expensive than others in the area. What magic he did in a minute he called me my order was ready! In fact he just got it from the kitchen. SO DISSAPPOINTED THE CHICKEN WAS IN FOUR PIECES EXTREMELY OVERCOOKED DRIED WHITE MEAT WAS ALSO DARK MAY BE REFRIED. IT MUST BE FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY. Even making a curry sauce did not help. We dont understand why these people dont understand its important to maintaining quality and consistency. SAD

The half chicken dinner was pretty good.got it with a side of rice and potatoes.the potatoes were a bit mushy and the chicken could have been roasted more (my opinion) for a crispier taste.one of the staffs was not wearing a mask.the guy at the cashier only had a face shield that i feel is an ineffective PPE.

Excellent and authentic Portuguese churrasqueira just up north in Silverthorn area. Chicken, sides sauce and tarts were all on point. Looking forward to trying more of the items in the menu.

Ordered from The Portuguese Chicken Guys twice. The food was fine. But both times the order took a long time to prepare and both times a main item (half a chicken and chorizo dinner) was missing from the order. Very unreliable. Won't order from them again.

Loved the food on my first visit there, decided to go out of my way to come again last night only to get yelled at for asking to have some of my change back, the guy didn’t even ask if I wanted it, just took my $20 ($16 order) and basically went back to what he was doing before I came in. As I was leaving the guy said something in what I assume was Portuguese so good for him. Idk if I’ll be coming again. I’ll miss the tarts though, very tasty when hot and fresh
