My partner and I had a GREAT experience today. Paul is friendly, knowledgeable, funny, patient and an all-round pro! We each made three pieces and learned a ton while having a few laughs. Highly recommend!

So much fun! If you are considering giving throwing a try, book a date at The Pottery. I can't wait to see what my pieces actually turn out like, but the experience is worth it alone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience learning how to use the wheel and made 3 pieces to take home (in 6 weeks time) in a 2 hour workshop. Emails and phone calls can be slow but it's because this is a very popular pottery experience + Paul does classes for adults and kids as well. We are so happy we found this gem. The glaze and painting are done for you so that in the time you get you can focus on learning to control hand movements + pressure. Paul is an excellent conversationalist, very encouraging, and hilarious.

Highly recommend the experience for those who want to take a take off of work to do something creative and relaxing during the day on a weekday!

Had an amazing time with an amazing group of people. The classes are small so you get lots of instruction. Paul is a fantastic teacher and a great person all around. Will definitely be coming back, just need to find an opening!

You get to make 2 small cups/ bowls of not 3 (no handles). The class is bound to what you are told to make and you don’t get to glaze your work- it’s all done by the instructor and you pick up your pottery several weeks later. It was fun, I just wish there was more room to experiment and that I got to learn how to glaze.

I went to a two hour beginner pottery workshop and had a wonderful time. Paul was clear and helpful. I highly recommend the workshop for a place to feel creative with direction. I don't have experience with a pottery wheel but left having made cups that I can't wait to use.

Paul is an old-world craftsman. One taken from the land of many moons ago, where you could walk down the street and pass shops of artisans who excel at their craft. But unlike the cobbler in a fairytale, he is not a reclusive introvert who is so precious about his work.

A patient teacher, with a gentle hand and lightness about him, he is also a generous human being. It was a true pleasure to meet with and work with him.

Regarding the logistics of taking a pottery class, I've also done the math and crunched the numbers. His prices cannot be beat! The ease of free parking nearby is a huge bonus. Thanks Paul!

I have recently signed up for a class to give it a try for the first time. As I started, Paul was just a very great instructor and knows how to do everything right for my mistakes on pottering and it felt so great to him giving me a hand which I appreciated

My fiancé and I have purchased a 2hr class and have been trying to book an appointment for over a year. There are no available dates that a normal working person can book - there seems to be 1 *maybe* 2 dates in a month you can book and I have yet to see a Saturday or Sunday. As I look again, the only thing available this month is on a Monday at 9am.
Disappointing once again. I have been really wanting to have a pottery experience and was hoping this would be the one. As time goes by, I'm starting to lose hope it will ever be a possibility at The Pottery.
I realize now, that if I had looked on your website before purchasing a class then I would have seen the disclaimer that The Pottery doesn't operate on evenings or weekends, but I hadn't considered "double checking" (I purchased from Groupon) and had no idea these were the circumstances I was dealing with. I humbly accept my fault in this.
Have spoken to Paul via email and telephone - nice, but less than helpful as he just directs us to his website and says he is posting more dates. Exceedingly disappointing experience (or lack thereof), and to top it off, we can't get our money back.
Is there anything that can be done to rectify the situation?
