We took our new puppy caramel there and they did an incredible job it was his first groom and he looked like a totally different puppy I love that he was able to mingle with the other puppies too.the staff was so nice

The owner is so pleasant, I’ve brought my 5 month old teacup
Yorkie there for a shampoo & then for his first groom and I’m very pleased! Thank you We appreciate you & will be back soon!

The groomer and staff were amazing handling my rescue dog who is very fearful. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone. Will be returning in the future! Thanks again.

Took my son's dog last week and had a wonderful experience. Friendly staff who calmed the eager pup down right away and gave him a rocking haircut that got rave reviews from everyone. Benny appreciates the Mohawk and the dragon's tail very much!

My dog has been a long time customer of this place but im never ever sending him back. I don't know what has changed in the last year or so but ever since I got my new puppy, not once has the service been good. I have two dogs, a yorkie and a husky, the last couple of times i've bought them in, one service or another doesn't get completed and i need to ask them to do it again.today was the final straw through. Today when I asked the girl that normally sits in the front to just slightly cut the hair at the back of my huskies leg, as it wasn't done right the first time, she went and SHAVED him down to the skin. If you know anything about double coated dogs, you would know that they are not to be shaved unless medically necessary. She also did such a horrible job that the other lady spent 20 minutes trying to fix it and it still looks terrible. Its completely inexcusable to shave a double coated dog without permission.

In addition to that they have repeatedly left cotton in my smaller dogs ears after the haircut even after i mentioned it to them. The cotton was also shaved so far into his ear that It was barely visible and incredibly hard to get out

The owners were lovely, very friendly. The place is very cute. I used to take my old dog here and brought my new one and after her groom I barely recognized her. She looked amazing and so adorable. Would definitely recommend the puppy’s place to anyone.

The puppy place is the best place for your dog and puppy to come and get groomed bring your dog or puppy to the puppy place they will have the time of their life making new friends I love it here the staff are so nice and professional experience at their jobs 5 Star salon.

This was my first time taking Lucky there. I was worried about him at first because he suffers from anxieties but they took excellent care of him and he was good. And happy. I will definitely take him back regularly.

This is the only place i take my dog to have his nails trimmed.they have always been so accommodating and professional even though he can be a handful.i wouldn’t trust anyone else with him!

Honestly, I never leave reviews but just felt as I should so everyone is aware. I brought my 8 months old dog here for the first time today & honestly will be my last. Today, I was called because I was on the wait list to get my dog groomed (bathed, fur trimmed and nails trimmed) at around 10: 30 AM because they had a last minute cancellation. At around 2: 30 PM I noticed they hadn’t called & when I called them to follow up, they first told me it would be another hour & I was truly confused because we had dropped him off so early. When they finally called me to come pick him up, my mouth dropped. I had no idea who the dog I was looking at. They completely disregarded what I clearly asked them to do and shaved all of my dogs hair off. When I asked the lady at the front what happened to my dog, she acted like she didn’t know what I was saying. After going back and forth, I finally left upset. This was my first time but will also be my last time. Stay away from this business as it clearly is a trend for them not to take responsibility for their actions. Don’t ignore the bad reviews.

Thank you for taking such good care of Stormie when he comes for his grooming and his nail trimming appointments. He is always so happy to come through the doors of The Puppy's Place. This coincidently makes my wife and I very relieved to know he is left in good hands. Thanks.

I love this place, they are always happy to see our pups. Even though my big pup is a handful. Maui and Alex are always happy once they have been nail trimmed. Thanks to the team. You are great!

Used to bring my husky here for a bath. This place eventually cancelled my appointments, stopped picking up my phone calls. Completely ignored me. I found out through a friend (that still takes her dog there) that they did not want to take my dog anymore as he makes too much noise and was peeing on them. Which I find very funny actually haha.

They did not mention this to me even once. Every time I asked them how he has they said oh he was amazing. Why lie to your customers? Why not tell them upfront as to why you don’t want to take him in anymore?

This place is very unprofessional. I take my dog elsewhere and have no problem.

Very kind and friendly owners and atmosphere for dogs. It's like an extended family for Maggie.

I use to go to Petsmart ajax, but after "last minute" cancelations and excuses on short staff I decided to try this place out. The staff were super nice and accommodating from beginning to end. I will definitely book another appointment for our little Gucci.

Edit to review and response! From owner! TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! NEVER once did I say she looked good. Me and my daughter were in shock with how she looks. If you close at 4pm then don’t make an appointment if you don’t have time to do a proper job. I have read so many reviews where you blame the dog or owner - how about you look at yourself and your business and see the trend that is happening. Getting rid of Kate was your biggest mistake! She took the time and her day didn’t end at 4 if the dog still needed to be groomed. She took time with the dogs, gave them breaks, treated them as her own. KATE was the puppy place! Now it is awful!

The place deserves NO STARS but that isn’t an option. Don’t take your dog here! The butchered my moms 6 month Bichon. They shaved her to the skin and it wasn’t even a smooth shave. They called her by the wrong name all day. They just cared about being out by 4pm. This wasn’t just a bad cut - it was an awful and unprofessional experience.

Had a great relationship with the old owner but not the new one. Brought my dog for grooming and noticed some blood stain caused by a cut. The groomer denied causing the cut which is very irresponsible. Have found a new place to take my frightened dog for grooming.
