The Rebel House

Needs way more vegetarian selections. Tonight's meal was a bit of a disaster. Two of us ordered grilled cheese, we each got different kinds of cheese and burnt kettle fries. My friend's meal was neatly put together but mine was a mess. My husband and son both got burgers and they got almost no fries! I told the waiter and he brought more, but man, this is poor quality control. This is the worst meal I've had there. And it's not cheap.

Just a local gem. Back patio is great. Service is very attentive and really nice chatting with other patrons. Lots of draft beers and cocktails on the menu. We had the wings - flavour was fantastic but overcooked. The kettle fries and dip was phenomenal. Next time will try a burger. Looked fab. Great spot to chill and catch up.

I have been here quite a few times. The staff is always super friendly. The food is tasty and well priced, and the place has a lived in comfy feeling. It's right across the street from Rosedale Subway Station. Check it out

Bruce and team went above and beyond for us in many ways. Due to terrible weather we called to ask if we could get the Burns Night special delivered via Uber and they sorted that for us even though it wasn’t on the menu. Bruce then called to apologize for the order taking so long, as Uber couldn’t find a driver. He kept us up to date and then when our food eventually arrived, not only was it so delicious they’d included a little something else to say sorry when it was no fault of their own. So appreciated and we can’t wait to enjoy the patio in warmer weather!

Had the Rebel Burger.very good! The fries are unique, and will definately try the poutine next time.

Went here on a date after a movie. I had the Club sandwich and my date had the grilled cheese with extra bacon. Both sandwiches were amazing, and the chips that came with them were phenomenal. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

We were disappointed with our burger and club sandwich! The meat to bread ratio was horrible. There was hardly and trimmings on either sandwich! It was expensive and not worth it!

Comfy pub. Decent selection of draughts. Good food - had pasta special and cheesy coins. Reasonable prices. Attentive service. Happy hour 4-6

Great food and beer selection. Comfortable surroundings and attentive staff. Summer patio is much sought after and worth the wait. As a vegetarian, I always ask for substitions and have always been happy with the chef's inventions. One of the best on the Yonge Street beat.
Updating post pandemic. Thanksgiving weekend the patio was still open but quiet. Still the same comfortable feel to the place.

Great bar with amazing owners and the crew just make you have a wonderful time. The beer selection is good, my husband likes beer and for me the food is what I enjoy the most and we asked fries and the humus that was delicious coming back to try more of the main dishes

Are you kidding? I LOVE The Rebel House! Incredibly tasty food, all sorts of choices on the menu, wonderful offerings of ale and beer and maybe, just maybe the best customer service in Toronto.kidding the service IS the best.

We go here weekly if not bi-weekly even! It is absolutely amazing. The food is TOP NOTCH and they have an insane amount of beer (draught and bottle) we will ALWAYS COME BACK. PS, Covid protocol was on point! We felt safe going in every single tike

A homey local pub. Lots of atmosphere, friendly people, good beer and everything under the sun. Food is hit and miss depending on chef. This time it was a hit. Service alway excellent.

This is a casual place. The food is great, the vibe is good, and the people (service and regulars) are friendly. Love the patio. Wish I lived closer so I could be a regular. For those who like draft, they have an excellent selection. I went here with my draft beer fan friend. I would be very comfortable eating here alone

Attracted by the cute backyard patio but the experience was ruined by the AWFUL service and blah/overpriced food. To the point where the waitress was annoyed that I actually expected her to correct the overcharge on my bill rather than apologizing after I pointed it out. Literally couldn't pay me to eat there again, whoever's managing the service staff
should explain they're not doing
customers a personal favor by waiting on them.

Rebel House is a classic pub with great food and service. I had the pasta special and my friend a few appetizers - both great. It was busy and had good atmosphere.

Sarah was a great host. Really appreciated her. The Roti was good, but felt it could use some more 'pop' in its flavour. Ginger beer was delish

The lower floor is a bit stuffy but we enjoyed the upper floor which has a cozy feel. Great service and good beer!

Excellent restaurant in Rosedale on Yonge Street, with a great reasonably priced menu, attentive staff, and a great patio.

It is always great to sit at the rebels house patio for a pint. Enjoy great pub food local beers and friendly service. The Rebel fries are fantastic and so is the poutine. Enjoy

The food and drinks are great and it's always so much fun! I LOVE the lobster meatballs and cauliflower ceaser. Brunch is also SO delicious - duck hash, pizza bagel and unlimited mimosas are a few of my favorites!

Amazingly friendly and warm staff, great selection of local beers on tap and a cute sunny patio to top it off.
