Pretty great, though I expected more from THE premier 5 star hotel of Toronto.

Everything was great, but not excellent. To be honest, it felt like a 4 star hotel. No complementary drinks, had to request bathroom supplies like a toothbrush and toothpaste. Also the concierge was not picking up the phone for ~1 hour between 3pm and 4pm.

They did honour our requested early check in and late check out, which was nice.

This is not a 5 star hotel, solid 4 star at best. The room is dated, small for a five star. The swimming pool is small. Service is okay, nothing special. For the price you pay, the value is low. For similar price, you’ll get better bang for your buck at Four Seasons, Shangri-la, St. Regis or even Delta.

Overall, really nice hotel. Staff were friendly and the rooms were really nice. Only area of improvement would be I asked them to bring up a delivery and was told they would not do this. I expect this from 3 and 4 star hotels but when you're paying for the Ritz, I would like better service.

Had a WONDERFUL Anniversary weekend at the Toronto Ritz.staff is over the top Fabulous. Special shout out to Ali & Amy, Joella, Vincent and Zach from Toca and Emilya from Epoch.it is special to meet such genuine people who know how to make for a wonderful couple of days away. My Fiancé and I had SUCH an amazing experience at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto this past weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by their friendly staff at the front of the building and the check-in experience was so smooth. Special shoutout goes to Yuya at the Front Desk and Carlo at Concierge for being extremely welcoming, offering endless suggestions for dinner spots based on our interests, and ensuring we had everything we needed for the duration of our stay.

The ambience of the main lobby is gorgeous and smells great! The rooms are also beautiful and the bed we had was so cozy - we booked a King Deluxe room. The team also sent up a birthday treat for my Fiancé which we thought was so thoughtful and sweet.

In addition, we also booked massages and the spa experience was also amazing. There are so many amenities available to compliment your spa treatment like the steam room, lounge, pool, jacuzzi, and snacks to name a few. The staff there are also so kind and our RMTs, Raphael and Natalie gave us the best Swedish/Aromatherapy massages.

We will definitely be staying at The Ritz again in the future! Everything was also within walking distance so we had no worries about going out to quickly grab anything if we needed to. Lots of restaurants and attractions nearby as well for those who are visiting from out of the City.

Really impeccable service and staff. Really enjoyed the mixology class and dinner at TOCA. Our room and room service was really lovely. The gentleman who brought us our breakfast was so kind and friendly. He also paid great attention to every detail.

My stay was more than I could have asked for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a good first experience at the property. My treatment cut short to 40 min instead of one hour - very poor communication through to the staff, Was waiting for my valet car for 5 min and arrived 10 min late to the spa which was my fault but i assumed due to covid you are not allowed to come earlier. No one mentioned that my treatment wont be extended and instead of getting 60 min treatment it was 40 min. Not happy

Room was beautifully done, and the staff went over and above to ensure our group was well taken care of. The road is under some construction so it took a bit longer to get in and out, but no fault of the property.

My partner and I stayed in a Club Level Deluxe Guest Room with a view of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower. The customer service at the Ritz-Carlton was excellent and the event we attended at the hotel was lovely and well-organized! The food delivered in-room was delicious. However, the room itself was lacklustre. The decor is bland and there are some design flaws, including the fact that the main washroom door (the wooden sliding one) did not stay closed. The in-room coffee station did not include enough milk/creamer, sugars, stir sticks, etc. However, ultimately, we had a great stay at the Ritz-Carlton and the members of staff we interacted with were very helpful and kind! Our car was well taken care of.

Nice comfortable rooms and great food at the restaurant in hotel! Beautiful and spacious! Staff in the hotel very friendly! The spa was good but booked and paid for a 60 minute spa treatment and only received a 40 minute which felt rushed, expected a bit more from a luxurious spa at the Ritz! Would have loved to use the spa amenities like the thermal bath and steam room which is what I believed was included in the high spa prices. It’s unfortunate to be the last appointment of the day as I didn’t feel like I got the same experience as perhaps the morning as staff would of given. Staff seemed to want to rush and get closed up, had I been told this I would of gladly went earlier to receive the full experience and time I booked for

Overall: Amazing hotel, feels super classy and luxurious.

Room: very well designed, with high end finishes. Lots of full length mirrors, with great lighting. Bathroom was spotless and very clean. Super tech first toilet. Bathrobes we're the most comfortable I've ever tried!

Service: everyone I interacted with was super kind and polite. They proactively offered me a late checkout for being an Ambassador elite, which was awesome.

Food: breakfast was delicious but pricey (as expected). Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to check out the gym, etc. I hope to try it next time!

Orange M&M’s are the most common color in my box of M&M’s. According to my M&M data chart when you compare the total count of each color out of the total 103 M&M’s, 27 of those M&M’s were orange. When compared to the other colors included in the M&M’s, orange is the highest at 27. In my M&M data chart orange also has the highest percentage. When you compare all the percentages together, those percentages being 18.4% are green, 11.6% are brown, 8.73% are yellow, 26.2% are orange, 22.3% are blue, and 12.6% are red, the data shows that orange has the highest percent at 26.2% of the total 103 M&M’s being orange. For these reasons I believe that orange M&M’s are the most common color in my box of M%M’s.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton last weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday. From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, the level of service and helpfulness from the staff is something we have not yet experienced at a hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was large, and had amazing finishes in the room. Valet, front desk, restaurant staff, and housekeeping all made us feel welcome at one point during the stay. The location is convenient to Union Station, as well as St. Andrews subway station. Eaton Centre is approx 15-20min walk. Countless bars/restaurants, coffee shops and shopping surround this hotel. The pool and hot tub are very small and can get crowded. The pool area is shared with residents of the attached condo. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would not hesitate to return.

Always have an amazing stay at the Toronto Ritz Carlton. Excellent service/food at Ritz Bar - Robyn, Brent and Carleen are great. Olga from Club Level / Room Service made our stay last visit when so happy to see us again… Rooms are always clean/comfortable and luxurious feel without being stuffy. General manager make a point of checking in on guests at breakfast. Amazing spot.

The girls and I made a trip to Toronto, the hotel was amazing but what really made the stay was Jaya, Jaya was extremely kind to us and welcoming since day one - she was so genuine and made sure we were having fun and that the room was always perfect. We can not thank her enough ️ Please if you read this let Jaya know how much we appreciated the hospitality- good job and we will for sure be returning to see Jaya.

Outstanding hotel. My second time here and I thoroughly enjoy the rooms, the service in the rooms/at valet/front desk. Very professional. Nice atmosphere at night at the bar and pleasant breakfast in the morning. A great hotel for business/pleasure.

What could I say about the Ritz-Carlton other than it's everything you've heard about it. Very clean, very friendly and lots of amenities. Our view is overlooking a park, the Convention center and the Rogers Center and CN tower are like I could reach out and touch them beyond that Lake Ontario!

From the minute we pulled up it’s been a great stay. Impressive venue on its own but the valet, front desk and room service, all of the staff are so warm and courteous we felt really comfortable and welcomed. The entry is beautiful and the room was lovely (10th floor, 1 king bed). Comfortable bed & linens, high end finishes (love the thick room darkening velvet curtains that work like a dream), the stylish furniture and smart lighting, big bath tub and nice finishes in the bathroom too and also enjoyed the Toronto views out our window. The room service food and wine was terrific (I had a Cobb salad, white wine, lemon meringue & decaf coffee). I also appreciated in room coffee from (I think) nespresso. The perfect cup of coffee and the machine was immaculate. The whole place is immaculate for that matter. I got lucky when we booked on Hotwire for a 5 star hotel. I have loved every minute being here and do not review things often unless they really impress or disappoint. Hope to come back and try the funky restaurant bar downstairs and hit the spa another time. I’m very curious about the reviews from families with young children that said they had a great time. This stay was just hubby and I but I would be curious to try staying with our little ones. Sounds like other families had a nice time too. So, if you're blue and you don't know where to go to

My fiancé and I had a great stay. All the staff members provided great customer service. The valet service, the front desk and room service were all excellent. They really went out of there way to make sure we were welcomed and comfortable. We will definitely come back again and recommend this hotel to all our friends!

We didn’t stay at the hotel, we are on the patio dining and let me say the food was good. The service was excellent, the waiters were very friendly. All I have to say it they just need to invest in regular sized plates. I felt like I was eating on a children’s tea party set. Also the knife was so dull i couldn’t even cut my bread properly. Would come again:)

Stayed here for valentines, and the staff went above and beyond to plan with us our entire weekend. Due to Covid we had tasting menu's delivered all weekend, they had cutlery and platting arrive before every meal for us to enjoy on! Their Toca valentines experience was fantastic and made this valentines a very special one. Look forward to staying again!

June 2019 - I would have been more impressed if I did not just stay at the St Regis the day before. The hotel is nice but needs some renovations in the room as the style is a bit dated, and some wallpaper was flaking.

The room is spacious and has a large bathroom. We had a view of the CN tower. The indoor pool was large and there is also some hot tubs. It was empty when we went, which was a fun bonus.

Service was nice, but I found that the lag time between a request and the service rendered was a tad long.

Overall, good location but I think there are better options around.

The newly renovated rooms are exquisite.

But before I get there, the guys at the front door were pleasant and welcoming when I arrived.

When I checked in with Pradita, she was so professional and kind all at the same time. She recognized my Ambassador Status and let me know that she has great upgrade news for me.

The hotel lobby has two bars and a restaurant upstairs. The location is so good just off the entertainment district.

The pool, hot tub, spa and gym are all first rate. I love coming here to Toronto when I can stay here.

Where do I start? From the amazing greeting, to the incredible service, to the serene seating, to the fantastic views (lots of art), to the comfort, to the music, to the to the to the. I can’t stop. Truly a place that will always have a piece of my business-heart. Came here to do my work and I was helped in every way I asked. No need to say it, but, I highly recommend it!

The hotel was nice and the free breakfast in the morning was tasty. Hotels are very clean in my opinion and the only thing wrong is that the second floor smells and the pool is dirty sometimes and high school kids hog the hot tub.

Enjoyed the Christmas Day brunch buffet at the Ritz Carleton. Service was impeccable and the food was excellent. It never felt crowded and the food items were replenished often. Our family really enjoyed the experience and plan to return next year.

High Tea was a bit disappointing. Within our first five minutes we were told three times that we need to leave by 5pm (once would have sufficed) The tea was tepid. Staff was good about switching the pots up, but my second pot was a different variety. Our dessert trays arrived 12 minutes before 5. To be fair, they did not press us to leave at 5.

Stayed for one night. Have stayed at similar establishments in TO and this one is at the bottom. Room was small and poorly lit. The TV worked for approx. 10min. Had to call front desk so they could bring up an extra light in the bathroom. My wife got ready in the shower because the bathroom was so dark

I had really a bad experience at DEQ bar recently. It was my first time at ritz toronto and i was so exited to feel the ritz carlton dinning experience. However, everything went wrong! It took them a long time to take my order even though the place was not busy, the server showed no professionalism, no care! Food came in cold and took forever! Drinks were not what i expect at Ritz!
I asked the server to see the manager then i was introduced to the F&B Director “ Mr. David Nack” that he extremely surprised me by his weird attitude! I was explaining to him the situation and at the same time he was GIGGling " I really felt like a piece of crop"! And showing me no care! He did not even apologize or ask me if he can do anything for me to make me happy. Instead, he was telling me that he s facing a lot of challenges and that he is facing a hard time to manage his team " this was the last thing i wanna hear""
It is really a shame for Ritzcarlton to be run by these type of individuals
The worst experience i had with Ritz throughout my life! I won t be back and i do not suggest this place for anyone!

Just had a corporate party on this hotel (4th Floor) and was one of the worst holiday parties I ever had.
Aside from the ballroom space that felt deserted, and completely unwelcoming the most awful and surprising experience of all was the food.
People who prepared this food should feel ashamed for serving it. Even though that food was served to a generic corporate event with people that you think will not come back that often, the food was still supposed to represent a top luxury hotel but instead was beyond disappointing. After this experience, I know for sure I will never even think of trying their restaurants in future.
Hotel people who organized this event should change jobs. It is totally unacceptable to have an event like this where the food runs out in the first 15 minutes. The food was very bad but the worst was that many people that came just few minutes late could not eat anything. I trust that people who organized this event knew how many people were coming and should have prepared a decent amount of food.
For the hundreds of people who came to your hotel and left hungry and disappointed this will probably be the only experience they will ever have with your hotel and your brand.

Always great customer service and very nice amenities. Valet parking can take a while if it is a busy time of the day. Just ask for your car in advance to save time.

Great property. The staff were friendly. They are building a fireplace for the holidays and you can donate to a great cause and have your name on the wall. Rooms were nice, Spa was great. Concierge staff (taller man, forgot his name) was very helpful with reservations and recommendations.

Great hotel. Excellent service. Classy staff all the way through. Good gym. When I was working out this morning the Denver Nuggets were also working out in the gym. Room service is hit and miss. Service was good but the Minestrone soup was poor and Cobb Salad was basically a regular salad. Disappointing. But the chicken wings were great and so was the ceasar salad. Rooms are big enough and clean / new with nothing missing. Recommended.

I had the brunch at Toca and it was a wonderful experience. The place was incredibly well kept, staff was polite and quick to their feet with their services, food was fantastic. If you're interested in going for a upscale celebration, this is the place to go.

Amazing hotel, definitely worth the money! Me and my boyfriend spent one night this past weekend for our anniversary and I am amazed at how excellent the facilities, the room service, the size of the hotel room and the amenities, definitely will be coming back.

My wife and I have been traveling to Toronto for the past 3 Falls and we use the trip as an opportunity to get away from the kids and spend some quality time together. We're Starwood members and we were excited to stay at our first Ritz, now that they are combined with Starwood properties. The suite we had was awesome because the space felt large and luxurious as well as it was totally reasonable with points and an additional $300 Canadian for the upgrade. Great value from our perspective, but the suite finishes were a slightly older compared to the Shangra La or the Adalaide. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I'd say that Francisco and Josh stood out in the two bars. Thank you both for your excellent customer service as well as allowing us to watch the Michigan/Wisconsin football game. To future guest, I'd recommend hanging out at the Ritz Bar, near the entrance on a Friday or Saturday evening. You never know who you might see walking in or out of a famous hotel like this. All in all, a top level service experience within a beautiful hotel for a reasonable stay based on points. We look forward to visiting again!

We had dinner at Toca in the Ritz. The service was amazing and the food was pretty good. I would recommend trying the pasta dishes as they are very good. The meat dishes are ok, but definitely overpriced for the flavour.

I was very disappointed with this Ritz. I’ve stayed at the one in Montreal twice and was extremely happy with what we got in the room. This one was not special at all. The bed was very comfortable but that’s all. I was also upset at we had booked a week in advance and asked for the room with a lake view with one king bed. When we got there they have us 2 queen beds. They changed us to a room with a king bed but were not able to give us the lake view which I really wanted.
The staff were nice and we didn’t make a fuss about it, but I was still bothered.

Went to TOCA for the Saturday brunch. Service was amazing, and food selection was great! Had a very attentive waiter, and our seats were pulled out for us when we were brought to the table. Cocktail shrimp were huge and juicy, and all the seafood was fresh. Would definitely recommend coming here for special occasions, as it is $64 pp but definitely worth it if you love seafood (ayce crab legs, fresh oysters, lobster stalls, shrimp)
