I've been going to The Root other the last 3 years or so and I am so pleased with the level of commitment to your care both Dr. Lauren and Dr. Stephanie have. Following a holistic approach to healing has worked wonders for my health and I could not have done it without the support of the wonderful doctors at The Root. Both Dr. Lauren and Dr. Stephanie (Doctors I have personally worked with) showed the utmost care and support throughout my healing journey for several health issues. They also recommended me to a fantastic family doctor who I continue to work with. Words fall short of how amazing the team is at Root and I wouldn't doubt you'd be in great hands with whoever you work with. The clinic itself is also a calming and peaceful atmosphere. The only reason I've given a 4 star instead of 5 stars is because of the price and how that's changed over the years which does make it quite expensive. Of course taking into account how things change it is expected for prices to rise. Highly recommend otherwise!:)

My acupuncture appointments with Mary have exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I felt a sense of tranquility. Mary is incredibly skilled and attentive, carefully explaining the treatment process and addressing all my concerns. The sessions themselves are a harmonious blend of gentle needling and soothing background music. I immediately felt a wave of relaxation wash over me, followed by a subtle but noticeable release of tension and pain. Mary's expertise and compassionate demeanor made the experience truly exceptional. I leave my appointments feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the positive impact it has on my well-being. My first Naturopath experience and it was amazing! Dr. Roxanne was knowledgable, patient, inviting and I felt heard. The office was calm and soothing. Very clean.

Dr. Laura Smith is amazing! She's changed my life for the better and I can't thank her & the entire Root staff enough. I came to the Root completely hopeless thinking I will never find a solution to my symptoms but Dr. Laura was there to help. She is so patient and kind and takes the time to actually listen which is a nice change from the norm in our western medical system.

Altogether, I cannot recommend this place enough and their telemedicine option makes quality care that much more accesible.

Stephanie Fairborn is super attentive, approachable, non-judgemental, and compassionate. She always take the time to delve into your symptoms, underlying causes, and potential remedies. She has definitely earned my trust!

I have found this place on the web and decided to book a consultation with one of the naturopaths there, because it had raving reviews. Well, so far I’m glad I did! I had a very nice consult with Dr. Amanda, who is a very sweet individual. Super polite, professional, definitely knowledgeable and overall very helpful. I came in to see her to get advice and guidance on my first pregnancy! As well as a couple of other personal health stuff. She carefully reviewed my filled out form and we went through absolutely everything step by step and she actually even ended up going a bit overtime with me, without ever making me feel rushed. I feel so comfy in her presence. My previous naturopath was a bit ‘pushy’, whereas Amanda was nothing like it. She recommended good vitamins and supplements for me, an amaaaazing tea which I’m loving so much and overall made me feel really good after the visit. I like the clinic a lot, hence 5 stars.

Dr. Amanda Capasso is fantastic. She addressed my concerns specifically, explaining their root causes in a simple, digestible way. She also explained how my concerns were all connected which was enlightening.
Her prescribed treatment has been incredibly manageable and included some simple lifestyle changes that have yielded major positive changes in my health. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I went to go see Doctor Capasso in the summer for a cupping treatment. Doctor Capasso offers the highest quality in care that a patient can ask for. She was tentative, compassionate and thorough. After my cupping treatment, I felt relaxed and recharged. She even took time after the appointment to listen about my lower back concerns and extended the session to give me some helpful tips and advice in regard to alleviating lower back pain. It was so nice seeing someone who did not rush the appointment and took time to make sure I was always comfortable. I definitely recommend Doctor Capasso! I saw Doctor Amanda throughout my pregnancy. I left my first appointment with her learning more about what to expect pre and post partum than I did in six months of seeing my OB. I highly recommend Doctor Amanda for all things pregnancy related, including fertility, diet, supplements, acupuncture, preparation for labour and delivery and then of course, health and wellness for your newborn:)

I saw Dr. Amanda a few months ago when I was still pregnant. I was having some pain in my lower back and hips. She did some acupuncture on me as well as massage. I was nervous at first because I've never received acupuncture before. She did a excellent job of explaining what would happen and how it would benefit me. And it didn't hurt at all! The next day my back and hips were noticeably better. I've recommended her to lots of my family and friends, and definitely recommend her to anyone who is pregnant, she is great with all pregnancy related topics.

Dr. Amanda is amazing! I had no idea what treatments I needed since I had never seen a naturopath, and she worked with me to decide on a course of treatment that was tailored to my needs. The cupping and acupuncture performed by Dr. Amanda helped my upper back pain more than anything ever has. And she's so lovely that I always looked forward to my appointments!

The Root Natural Health Clinic has been amazing for me for the past few years. I started out there with small issues like acne and fatigue. I began competing competitively in Ironman and realized the doctors I have had my whole life were passing me off as "healthy" but I truly wasn't. I was walking around with stubborn fat, exhaustion, acne, hair loss, etc. It wasn't until Dr. Laura and Lauren who began to dissect and treat my problems I had been researching about for years. This clinic is your one stop shop for all answers women related. They have helped me tremendously on my journey to a better self. I highly recommend Laura or Lauren who not only breaks down concepts simply but will truly get to know you on a personal level. These ladies care. I whole heartedly thank you both! See you soon.
