Bartender is awesome. In fact all the servers there are always presentable, positive and down to earth, great community feeling, happy, respectful patrons!

Lunchtime in the summer, great patio, inside was OK, nothing special. Food was good, service personnel were great. It's a shame they've moved so far away from their roots with their menu. 1st location on Bank Street had wonderful British food offerings including their spectacular British Breakfast on weekends.

It's a quaint local pub. Service was OK not the friendliest. The wings were ok definitely lots of salt and pepper.

Came here with a bday group after Dooly’s failed to honour reservations. Such a chill place with live music. Max the manager was such a champ and gave amazing service, despite being the only bartender/server. The fries were fresh and rly good. We moved our group to the patio and had a great time

I love most Royal Oaks, and this one is no exception. Good beer, friendly service, and tasty food esp the steak and mushroom pie. They've done the best they can with the location and outside area, and it's quite pleasant despite being next to a road. Would recommend trying it out, and say Will sent you. They don't know who I am, but I have a large ego.

Good food and friendly staff, enjoyed lunch on the patio with a friend on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy and food was quick.

Nice lil neighborhood pub feel. The service was good, beer was cold and the wings were top notch

Great atmosphere, cold drinks and great apps, I recommend the Cod dippers, mini version of Fish and chips, minus the chops

Fish and chips are great here! Don't ask for their packaged, frozen zucchini fingers. Service is friendly and helpful. If there is ever a problem with your meal, tell them, they'll make sure you don't go hungry. Great outdoor patio.

Love the restaurant did not like the attitude of the waitress so we finished by not having anything to eat we just paid our meal after our drink we were regulars there almost every week so it's too bad that that one experience they have lost a customer or a couple we loved the manager that was there he was there that he served us all the time when the senators would play we'd always be there but no more

Had the Chorizo burger and margaritas mix 75 bucks. Burger was bone dry and tasted like. Bad. The mix was so tart and cheap I had to toss it with the tequila I had already mixed.

I was so disappointed, paid 17 for fish and chips, tiny coleslaw, very few frozen fries I might ad and one piece of fish not to mention the cheap serving of a 12$ poutine. I won't be ordering from them again

Food was made quickly and ready on time. Great value for your money and a good variety to choose from. Enjoyed everything I ordered and will be back for more I'm sure:)

Has patio service which is clean and prompt. I like to go on half price wings day making them a good value. Good place for a beer with the boys. Staff has always been friendly and always wore face masks. The only reason I give it 4 star is that the only dark beer they have is guinness, but if you are not stuck up with your stouts than you will find the usual on tap beers fine.

Great service. We love Annie who is more often than not our server. She always remembers our favorite drinks and our names. Kuddos to Annie and the Oak for keeping her on staff.

Great pub! They even have a dart board on the patio outside. Good selection of beers and food. Friendly staff, what more can you ask for? !

I get that we're coming out or quarantine and things are tough, but everyone had to deal with the financial hardships and weird social landscape. So when I decide to spend my money at a patio and I'm greeted by a waiter giving who's short for no reason, it's not very enticing to return. It's not my fault you have limited patio space and people aren't keen to come out. Hate these "how to treat your waiters post covid" posts that are circulating too. Everyone had to deal with it, if you're going back to work just go back to normal and five friendly service. It's going to suck for a whole, but that's life. Forget the server's name, and I'm not looking for a witchhunt but I did not have a good experience.

Food came quick, tasted great and the patio was an awesome accommodation during these times. Right across from the pine view golf course so the perfect spot for a post-round pint. Thanks Royal Oak!

Came here tonight and the server took so long just to come serve us. She was just talking to everyone and then forgetting that we had orders and actually came back once and looked at us dumbfounded and then remembered. We were baffled about this then we asked for our bills because we couldn't take it anymore and she took another 15 mins to bring it to us. I would completely understand if it was busy but it was so quiet. I was just stunned. As were my friends. Disappointed in the service and I won't be coming here again.

Good food, reasonable prices. Our group was well accommodated and the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't talk, like some restaurants. There is lots of free parking and the place is disability/wheelchair friendly.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. The chorizo burger was disappointing. Mind you, I came during a lunch rush but that's not an excuse to sacrifice quality for speed. The patty was clearly frozen and not made in house and was relatively small. For an $18 burger, I want to be full, not want something better after. Toppings were stingy as well: A tiny dollop of guac, some shriveled up bacon and a giant piece of slippery lettuce that kept wanting to move and fight me. Their burgers are not worth it.

Great staff! Good food, decent beer prices. Could us a bit of a makeover to attract new people, but it's otherwise not bad at all.

Great service, decent price but the beef tacos were flavorless unfortunately.

The deep fried pickles were great. The pub-style service was good. Michael took care of serving our orders real quick as well as our drinks! A very pleasant time was had.

Really amazing food, good environment, very friendly group of people, this place is very clean.

Was asked to leave after my one and only drink that night. Clearly obvious the server had made up his mind when I walked through the door that I was not welcome!

Perhaps it was because I was quiet, non aggressive towards the staff and other patrons I just wasn't the type of customer they wanted.

If your looking for a place to have a drink and spend more than 5 minutes I suggest you go somewhere else!

Good food. Good service. Trivia night is really fun! They do not have a change table for babies and kids though.

I've been to this restaurant a few times and I've always had great service and the food is yummy
