Angie, our server, makes this place very enjoyable. We've only been there for lunch but food is plentiful and mostly good. It can be inconsistent at times but there are many more menu items to explore.

Popular local neighborhood pub atmosphere with polished corporate feel. Friendly staff but a little short handed the night we went. Half price wings on most game NHL/NFL night evenings. Fish and Chips Fridays ($3 off) is very good. Top 3 pub in Stittsville.

Maybe I’m getting too old but the live music starts at 7: 00 pm and we could no longer hear each other at our table to talk with out shouting.

Angie was our server, while training a few new staff members. She took amazing care of us and our kids even loved her. We will definitely be back! Very attentive and made sure everything was great! Thanks a lot!

Booked my team part through Angie. Was on a Sens vs. Leafs game night, and she was able to make it happen. The night of the party, the service, food, and atmosphere were spot on! Highly recommended if you're having a team get together.

Amazing food, catering to Gluten-free, waitress Caitlin was lovely & service was awesome!

Really appreciated the service. Went for an early dinner and the staff did an amazing job. When our waitress was busy at another table the manager was stopping by to refill drinks and make sure we didn't need anything. Will be back

Do not order poutine to go. They give you a very small portion size in two small takeout containers.

Disappointed. We ordered 4 meals and there were mistakes on 2 of the orders.

Our original waiter didn't apologize for the mix up nor did he come back to our table until clean up.

We understand mistakes happen- but ownership of errors are important.

Another person came and asked what I wanted instead of my meal. The problem was. I went on a suggestion of my original waiter who said any burger can be made vegetarian. I shouldn't be made to feel.like it's my fault. I explained I wanted the meal but.the order that I requested.

Second.my wife's order had bacon.didn't come with it.when I said it was missing.a plate was brought with bacon.and no apologies of a second mistake.

No one came to talk to us about the mistakes and our bill was brought with no changes or discussion.

Very disappointing that this is the client service.provided today.

I have visted many times and ordered via takeout.and never had such a horrible experience like this.

Other tables were asked if they needed stuff.but we weren't. Why is that?

I had my meal.much after the rest of my family.

I even ordered a beer.and no one asked if I needed another.

Delicious hummus wrap, vegan options on the menu. Large open space, friendly staff, quick service, varied menu, and good food.

Our office decided to order lunch from the Royal Oak for a business meeting, we’ve eaten there before and it’s always a favourite. We get take out, but the food is still warm by the time it gets back to the office.

I usually get the spicy buffalo chicken wrap but get the cauliflower substituted for chicken. The wrap is always flavourful, and usually has the perfect amount of sauce in the wrap (and this was no exception). The fries are good, but the true star of the dish is the wrap.

My colleagues ordered salads, one ordered a goat cheese and walnut salad with chicken and the other ordered a garden salad. Both salads were fresh, with bright greens. I liked that they packaged the dressing so you can decide the amount of dressing and so the greens stay fresh. The goat cheese was panko crusted and smelled amazing.

All together, another wonderful lunch from The Royal Oak. Happy to have some great options in Stittsville!

We enjoyed the tasty craft beers available, the nachos, haddock bites and deep fried pickles. All delicious. No complaints. Service was friendly and more efficient than many places in Ottawa. If we weren't on a time crunch we would have stayed for the live entertainment.

Service was ok. The restaurant was clean. Beer selection was just a commercial variety. They should look to offer local craft brew. Food selection is of a standard pub variety. Burgers, Fish & Chips and such. I had the Crispy Chicken Burger.it was over cooked to the point of being burnt.black. Onion Rings had a cooked from frozen taste, but were ok. The girlfriend had the salmon, and she said it also had a cooked from frozen, and lack of flavor. We also had the Deep Fried Cheese Curds, which were yummy, but not fresh curds. Overall the kitchen could be a bit better, with fresher ingredients and attention to details.

It's a big box pub. The atmosphere is never going to be great. The food was solid.

Buddy of mine got the Buddha Bowl and it looked terrific. I got the Asian noodles. They were nicely spicy, but I would have loved a bit more veg.

I got an oak burger with lack of condiments and was supposed to get poutine not sweet potato fries. Very disappointed. Plus my fries were cold someone needs to fix this.

Ambience was good, food was decent bit service was terrible. Slow and uninterested staff. One staff member stood and chatted at the bar with a patron the entire time we were there, bartender ran around trying to do everything and food took forever to get to our table. Not a great enough experience to want to return.

Awesome buffalo chicken wrap and pub pies. Awesome live music on Friday nights. Good vibes! Will be back.

Our first visit to this location. Right across from Giant Tiger on Hazledean. I didn't realize it was there.
Great spot for lunch. It has both inside and outside dining.
We sat in but the flies at our booth were terrible. We moved from that spot to more in the middle and we still had a few. I asked for some fresh mint leaves to help get rid of them but they didn't have any.
I realize this is a pub restaurant, so house flies and beer go hand in hand but you need to take care of this issue asap!
We'll be back though, hopefylly no more flies!

Great, hearty French Onion soup and I had the turkey brie sandwich with pub chips. Sooo good! The garlic dip they offer, amazing

Good food value /serving size. Wings are solid, nice atmosphere. Ask for Josh at the bar and give him grief, he loves that.j/k - makes a mean old fashioned. 20 beers on tap, Baked honey hot wings.but also the seared ahi tuna is beautiful.

We are regulars this Royal Oak location. We went there last Friday and I showed my proof of vaccination, which was done with our other visits and we had to leave because it wasn't on my cell phone. I have never been so furious with a restaurant. We went to another restaurant of equal quality and we had no problems being served. Went to another restaurant on Saturday and again we were served without any hesitation after we showed our proof of vaccination cards. We will not be going back to this location and take our tips somewhere else.

Excellent food, wonderful service and a very pleasant atmosphere all around.

Total rip off. Ordered the Philly cheese steak. Super tiny. Like kids size portion. Do not get it. For $20 it's not worth it one bit. It's just a tiny little sandwich.

I had breakfast here about a month ago. The service was top-notch throughout - lots of spacing in the restaurant, servers were very serious about Covid protocols. No issues from that angle. The breakfast itself was pretty mediocre, however. The sausage was nice, fresh and tasty. The potatoes were your standard home fries - nothing to complain about, or write home about. The eggs were overcooked and falling apart into little shards. The toast was cold, barely toasted and had a tiny, unmelted pat of butter in the dead centre. When I asked if I could send it back and get an English muffin instead, they gave me a well-cooked English muffin, but again with only a pat of butter in the dead centre. I asked for more butter so I could spread it myself and they wound up giving me a whole cup of butter packets. Ah well. On the strength of the service, and the fact that this is really an easy fix (just spread the butter over the whole freshly toasted toast), I would still go back.

Very disappointed with the dinner we ordered two weeks ago via takeout. Small portions (sandwich and butter chicken) for the cost of it all unfortunately.

Tried their wings special today. Medium size wings. Took awhile to be served and got one pound of wings for one person and it wasn't that busy. The waitress was jolly and helpful. However, kitchen got my order wrong so they promo another pound for free.but still got the wrong sauce but I didn't say anything because I already had to go. With tax and must have a drink cost $12.50.a little high to me.

Wow, went back to check it out after a year of covid. $25 for wings and a coke. Could of had a steak for that price! And was extra charge for a small container of sour cream.really? Shouldn't that come free at that price?

Please don't waste your money. Food is ok, not good but not terrible. Service was horrible and very overpriced. I would go to a Boston Pizza or Kelsey's a million times before this place.tells you how terrible this place is. Had to go up to bar from table to get drinks as our server never came by.said they were under staffed, saw 4 servers standing in the bar and there were only 2 tables of people, the place was dead. Food was cold and poor quality (green hard tomatoes in August), order was wrong, bill was wrong (please check your bill carefully).

Stoped by fir a coffee and lemon lavender cake, excellent costumer service, respect of social distancing, check of Covid vaccination at the gate, keep up the good work, will comeback to try something else

Had an amazing breakfast a couple of weeks ago. We went back for dinner on Saturday evening and three of the four meals were disappointing. We left leave feeling the feedback provided to our server would never make it to the kitchen manager.

Restaurants have had some extremely challenging times, hopefully staff can improve the quality of the food being served.

Food was good, but wait staff seemed a bit flustered. My bill was wrong and had to be redone. It's a nice place and we may have gone on an off day.

Sorry to say it was just okay. Our server was very good, the food was meh. The covid excuse was used, short staffed etc.

My new favorite place! Great pub food, amazing drinks and delightful servers. So happy restaurants have opened.

Nice new location! We stopped for a quick lunch! I got wings and a beer! The wings were awesome for wings! Cooked perfect I was very close to ordering another pound! Service was good very friendly! Great job!

First time coming here and was not disappointed! Food was great and service was even better. Our waitress Krista went above and beyond to make our experience special. Highly recommend!

Very good experience, quality food, amazing service, and a good understanding that you need tons of napkins when eating out.
