Beer was cold. That's the highlight of this place. Ordered an individual nachos with guacamole. Cost $17, which is about the same number of chips on the plate.

We were excited to order from the special lobster menu. However, both the lobster rolls and lobster salad were very disappointing as there were no discernible pieces of lobster, just a ground mixture of?

Service was friendly and quick. Food was amazing! The margarita was good but not strong enough.

The food and drinks were great, ambience is also good but the service is quite slow because it was understaffed.

Wonderful place, great food, lovely outdoor area and plenty of TVs if you want to catch your favorite team play.

We were a group of six and wanted to sit outside and the manager on duty refused to put 2 tables together! Without even giving an explanation …. The restaurant was completely empty and it makes no sense why you would not want to accommodate paying customers. We did not even see the manager the server did the dirty work.

Great service, great beer -the Pilsner. The have been great accommodating my hockey team.

Normally a pub style fish n' chips for me but had the Sheppards Pie and it was beyond delicious. Will definitely order this again. A couple gluten free tacos made with a gluten free wrap and a Buddha bowl made for a great meal and a nice evening at the Oak. Cheers!

Poor service, microwaved and overseasoned food. The only good thing was the beer selection and the dessert was ok.

Great location on a quiet street near Meridian Theatres, perfect for dinner before a show. Nice patio overlooks some green open space rather than a busy street or parking lot. Reservation was easy, good food and drink selection, staff were friendly, fun and polite. Definitely will return if we are in the area.

Ordered from skip the dishes and got burger with totally burnt petty. So disappointing. My guest had to rip the burnt part to eat it. Not going to order from here again.

Out on the patio or inside, friendly staff, good food, prices are reasonable, good spacing for patrons. Prices a little higher, but still pretty good.

A shout out to our server Emma. Due to an unforeseen circumstance Emma found herself working alone Monday night, hosting, serving tables and attending bar. She did an excellent job and I hope the owners/management appreciated what she did for the restaurant.

They need to turn on their air conditioning. We sat inside and sweated like crazy. All because they said they could not accommodate 8 on the patio. What ever happened to moving tables together? Also, you need to update your menu. So many pubs are adding heart healthy choices, you need to get onboard. It’s unfortunate that you are the only restaurant next to Centerpoint Theatre. Will choose more wisely next time.

Great meal before great show at Meridian theatre. First time there, will definitely go back.

I’ve had such a terrible experience there yesterday night. We went there after midnight and ordered few drinks and wings, my bf’s card declined while paying. He asked the server to do it again, but she was arrogant enough to say ‘Maybe you don’t have enough fund in your account’. Seriously? Our dinner got spoiled by her attitude. Is this how you talk to people? Also, in the wings there was no dip! I had to walk to the bar and ask her for dip. Her attitude was so bad and definitely she is a racist! Server didn’t provide us plates cutleries napkins or even water. When I asked for napkins she didnt even said that she’ll get it, instead she just dropped it in the table and walked away. This is my first terrible experience from Royal Oak. I believe servers name is Dani or Daniel. Please don’t hire people with bad attitude for services, they gotta have welcoming and a happy face Atleast.
