Wide range of selections. Good for just looking around (little tips and insights on the side) or buying stuff. Great customer service. The staff are very knowledgeable. I got what I wanted and felt welcomed.

The Runners Shop isn't my closest running shoe (and supply) place. But, when I need new shoes, I am happy to make the trip. The service has always been great in my experience, and I really appreciate the information, advice, and encouragement I get. Fair prices and a very positive experience overall. The team there is really helpful.

Such an amazing experience with Tara at The Running Shop. She was patient, kind and not pushy when it came to trying things on. Even when I thought I found the best pair she still brought out another option and took the time to explain why I would love it (and I did). She also convinced me to try a different size in running shoes and I’m really glad I did! No more shin splints or leg pain while running. I was fitted for shoes last week as a brand new runner and it was the most friendly and welcoming experience i could have asked for! I was nervous to go in as a newbie but the staff made me feel welcome and cared for and also spent extra time giving me tips about layering as we get into winter.i love this place

I heard about The Runners Shop via an add on Instagram, and went in for a shoe demo that they had on with Asics. Going in without expectations, I left blown away. This is an amazing store and the staff are fantastic. I believe that I was looked after by the store owner. She spent at least 30-40 minutes with me checking my gait, listening to me questions and recommending shoes. I must have tried in at least 7 pairs based on her recommendations. They have a mini track inside to try the shoes on properly. I have never had such amazing service in a retail store as I did my first time in. I ended up purchasing the shoe that was showcased in the demo and some energy gels. I will be returning for their free Saturday morning runs, and this will be my first choice for running gear moving forward even though I don’t live anywhere nearby. Don’t waste your time at places like Sportchek or MEC, take the time to check out the Runners Shop, you won’t be disappointed.

This was the only store that stocked the shoes I was looking for. The web site was easy to use and the shoes with shipping cost less than they would have at a store in the US. They were shipped the day I ordered them and arrived from Canada to Washington, DC in 6 days. Very good experience.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Greg while picking out ‘baby’s first marathon’ shoes! He was so incredibly patient with all my questions and requests (and need to try on the shoes 6x each) and he was so personable. I felt like he was personally invested in my process (and hopeful success) and that made the experience feel much less daunting.

Wonderful collection and staff. Bought a NB 880 GTX recently, but needed some stability, so got an insole with it. Had to replace the insoles and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

These guys are amazing. Staff are really helpful, take their time and offer great suggestions. My mom is an odd size but TRS actually had them, AND helped her switch them out when she accidentally ordered the wrong size. Lynn was incredibly friendly and the outcome was a very happy one! Highly recommend if you're a serious or novice runner. You're in good hands!

I was looking for 15mm cross country spikes, which is a difficult length to find, but with sloppy and wet conditions out here on the west coast, definitely something that is needed! After some online searching, I came upon The Runners Shop in Toronto. I made my order and in less than 24 hours - and on a Sunday too! - I received a confirmation email that my order had been fulfilled and was going to be shipped. I was surprised and pleased with how quickly the order was filled, but more than that impressed to have gotten direct email communication from Greg to let me know that it would be shipped shortly. I cannot express how much I love The Runners Shop for both purchasing my running gear and being part of a pretty awesome run club!

I joined The Runners Shop back in June 2019. I was looking for support to improve my half-marathon time. I emailed Lynn asking for more information about the run club and received a very kind and detailed response the next day. I joined the group for an introductory run a few days later and signed up to be a member of the run club the next day. I have never looked back!

Not only has The Runners Shop helped me achieve new personal bests but it has also opened up my world to a community of amazing and supportive runners. Everyone is so kind and respectful of everyone else, regardless of paces or running goals. I am very grateful and proud to be part of this club!

I absolutely love this place. I’ve only been twice but each time I left smiling and feeling like a marathon runner. Staff are so delightful and knowledgeable. Shoes were recommended to me based on what I needed and both times they’ve been perfect. I see why it has 4.9 stars.

My experience at the Runner's Shop was A1 from the start. Greg, the Sales Person, was knowledgeable and personable from the start and was able to handle my need for serious walking shoes (as opposed to running shoes) easily. If you are tired of always buying the good-looking "lifestyle" shoe (as opposed to the shoes that are actually good for your feet), this is the place for you (AND you get a good-looking shoe, as well).

The staff here is amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about running. As a runner, it feels like a big welcome.

I ordered a pair of New Balance FuelCell RC Elite v2s from The Runners Shop on the weekend and it only took one business to reach Canada's Capital from Toronto. They were very welcoming when I went in. The sales person I worked with listened to my concerns and needs, and his best to find the right shoe for my needs. When I returned almost a year later he recognized me and remembered what I needed. They were attentive and efficient without rushing.

I had a gait analysis done yesterday and it was super helpful. Greg took the time to explain everything so that it was very clear. I was able to learn things about my running technique I had not known before and came away with pointers about things I can do to improve. I did the gait analysis as I have had a range of injuries over the last while and wanted to be sure I had the right shoes. I came away feeling well equipped. Thank you, Greg!

What an excellent in-store shoe purchase experience I recently had at The Runners Shop. I love the short rubber "track" in the store that allows you to run a few strides with different shoes. During my visit Lynn provided exceptional and personalized service. I highly recommend this place.

Great place to be fitted for running shoes! Buying sneakers online does not compare to the experience of getting personalized advice on the right shoes for your feet, your running habits and local/ seasonal running conditions. They also carry other running gear, which makes it a one-stop shop. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Justin helped me out in getting fitted and really made the experience unforgettable for me. I went to two other bigger runner shops in attempt to get fitted prior and they just grabbed the shoe sizes with not much input. Justin, however, looked at the structure of my feet and thoroughly assessed my running form before giving me a range of offerings.
