The Salvation Army Thrift Store

Management team sucks. Regular customer who comes almost everyday is LGBTQ+ community member.when assistant manager knew he ran from him and never wanted to take him on cash as if he will eat him up. They still need a lot of education on how to treat everyone equally. They are very racist. When customer comes and ask them to price less management team wouldn’t but someone they like they will give them ($300 items to $40). All the prices are really high for the free stuff. When they get new items they are supposed to price them 3rd of the original price but they don’t. They price everything almost the same price as retail. Good stuff doesn’t make it through inside door to out.

This has a much smaller selection than it’s for profit competitor across the street, but I try to come here first before going there to support a non-profit.

They have lovely promotions for those signed up for mails that come up frequently and you could easily find yourself buying quality items for very little.

I got some shirts. Caters more towards women's fashion. Some nice 26oz glassware for liquids aswell. I think I remember mattresses in the back right side too, I think

I feel they are pricing WAY TO HIGH for FREE CLOTHES. Some prices are over the retail price. Please, if you want to sell these clothes faster because you keep getting new DONATIONS, LOWER PRICES. NOT MUCH is under $7.99

As I was trying on 2 sweaters, I removed the sweater I came in with (mine). The sweaters didnt fit but instead of putting my sweater back on, i put it in my bag. This was done clearly in front of the store, by the change rooms with nothing to hide. The older cashier came and said, "you put a sweater in your bag and your not allowed to try on sweaters. " I told her firmly that it was my sweater i put in my bag. She said "okay but you cant try sweaters due to covid". No apology, no remorse. Its winter, we all have sweaters on. What if I put it back on, would she then accuse me of putting on the stores sweaters? What was I then supposed to do? Carry it around in my hand from then on? Not a big deal though, I won't ever come back to this one again.

Medium location with good assortment. Staff could do a better job of keeping clothes sorted properly on the racks though, and asking customers to help in that regard with overhead announcements. Fair parking lot experience.
