I find the BEST stuff at this Salvation Army. I have never left here empty-handed (which is good and bad hahaha). They encourage you to donate and get coupons for your next purchase. Everything in the store is organized pretty well. Prices are not horrendous. This is the thrift store to come to in the Mississauga area.

Love this location. It’s the cheapest in the thrift industry for kids clothes. For example girls leggings $2-3 dollars vs talize which starts at $5, yet you can buy the same leggings brand new from Walmart at $5. Staff are always friendly. Store is clean and organized.

Store was clean and very well organized. Staff were abundant to answer questions and help with the checkout process. Prices were good on most items

Good products at affordable reasonable prices that you could afford to shop I think value village could learn a lesson I have their prices are way unaffordable at least I could afford to shop

The staff is polite and the store is small but they are really slow putting out new stuff
Unlike other locations of Salvation that strive to jeep the inventory fresh and put out several racks
It's very noticeable that no one is pushing out new stock
They get a large volume of donations but they fail to put them out in a timely manner

Racks of dishes and household items are slowly brought out and sometimes just sit in the back room
Too many items that have little value are o er prixes

Only Great "non-profit" thrift organization that jobs, profits, go to helping low income families! Only place I'd ever drop new or used goods at. Pricing still the better than the other Thrift stores!

So clean and well organized. Really nice place. Why buy anything new, when you cn find everything you need from a shop like this.

The prices are pretty high. Highest I've seen across Canada. Cheapest is Kerr Street in Oakville. But it's well organized convenient and I always find great deals. Too bad Nancy isn't there anymore

Nice place with amazing finds, I bought this brand new rice cooker for 10$ which is listed on amazon for 82$ on 4 april 2022. Its working absolutely fine although i was scared after reading other reviews. I would highly recommend this store.

Absolutely Disgusting.

Linksys avaible on Amazon for $19.99 to $23.99 and even Cheaper on eBay $15
Hockey Figures: like them? They are $ 4 each Kennedy Salvation Army
Sealed book set is on sale on Amazon for $17.99

Keele Salvation Army where I purchased my Xbox 360 for $10.99 and some games for $4 each

Dont think 6 pieces die-casts for $120 is a good deal, they go around 10 to 20 on ebay.

And ladies you know that there are better deals at Winners, I mean why would you pay $50 for this poor beige high heels

People who live in the neighbourhood, for the sake of god do not donate or shop in this location. There is Goodwill 10 minutes drive.

Absolutely Disgusting, shame on this location for ripping people off.

This store is such a joke. Cookbooks are individually priced, what a shame. Some of the books that could be bought at dollarama are being sold for $6 at this location! I guess that gouging is the name of the game these days, and this store only cares about making money. This is supposed to be a thrift store, not a high-end store. I guess that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I have to say, the prices here are laughable. Not saying I haven't found good deals here before.but for the most part, the prices are seriously offensive for a thrift store. I thought value village was getting bad.

*Super clean
*Well organized
*Great variety
*Price are alright for most areas, some are bit over priced compared to other Salvation Army stores. Such as their pictures, household decorations/nicknacks.

Staff are very nice and helpful

This place is a gem, nearly undiscovered, especially for clothes. Not to mention that their sales goes towards feeding the unfortunate. Always a returning customer, always a happy customer here.

Poor customer service at this location. Very rude manager she dont know how to talk to customers she was telling her staff near fitting room that keep an eye no one take tags out from shoes. We donate and shop at Salvation Army only because we appreciate what Salvation Army is doing not because we cant afford going to other retailers. One of the sales associate told me that dont be surprise by this attitude we deal with this every day and then i said no i want to talk to her one short dark skin girl with curly hair comes from the back and says to me sorry she is busy doing some important work you can come some other day and talk to her. This is ridiculous. I am very disappointed.

Manager needs to learn how to talk to people she is very rude. Never going to donate and shop at this store. Worse experience ever.

Great place for shopping with limited budget, have great variety of things, 10 days return policy, nice staff, lot of offers like sales, some cards that gives you 50% off on your next purchase even if there is no sale

Great little store with fun items for various holidays. I usually check out their electronics section for random items as part of my hobby, decorate Halloween costumes were a blast too. Very well priced thrift store and very close to port credit.
17 January 2020 11:21
Another store that doesn't care about books. What a waste of wall space throwing books without any kind of grouping. A right ordering will increase notoriously the sales of books and CDs.

Clean, lots of varieties, quiet music background, quiet staff. Items set out neatly and separated in sections.
21 July 2019 21:53
Fun place to bargain hunt. You never know what you will find. They give a discount if you make a donation too.
22 April 2019 0:17
Horrible service. I am waiting in line to pay and an attendant near by unbothered was taking her time to organize ornaments in corner nearby. She saw us wait and did not bother to step up and help us cash out at the counter adjacent to her. I am not sure if these ornaments or their customers pay their bills. Poor and horrible customer service.

Is this place a joke? I donate bags of clothing and they take my items and price them outrageously. You can get this coat at winners brand new for about 70 dollars. They are so greedy and taking advantage of people.

Some people come here to look for items to furnish their homes with because they have no money and they price a chest of drawers that looks like an antique at 300 and 400 dollars.

How about I walk right in there and take back what I donated to you and bring it back home and donate it straight to a shelter without going through you? This jacket was bought for less than what you are selling it for.

Also I have seen/ watched the workers scouring items that they later bought when their shift was finished. You can hardly find designer items for a bargain anymore because the workers take everything for themselves.
29 January 2019 1:02
If any one want to get housewares items at very low price, they have to visit the store. Many of the items are offering at the lowest rates.

I im a very loyal thrifter and really love shopping at your stores, but recent years ive found some prices to be ridiculous at your stores, which are supposed to be a charity to provide affordable clothes for people in need. Every year I donate 10 bags or more of clothing and textiles and I hope they will help someone in need, but with my experience working at value village and watching the CBC documentary which shoes salvation army’s recycling facility, you aren’t doing your part in ensuring the clothes go to a good home. Why are the prices so high for the quality that they are being donated in, and in the intent to be purchased? 7-15$ for sweaters, used, broken (at the sole) shoes 15$ and up? (which fixing would cost 20$/more, totalling 35/more) I am heartbroken to see the ridiculous amount of clothes that are DONATED and TRASHED or “SOLD” to other countries.unsure of where they will go and what will happen to them. Prices need to be adjusted, because people will not pay more than 5$ for a sweater that can be bought new for 7$ at Walmart.and used, old shoes? Jackets start at 30$ - 40$, how are you expecting homeless people to buy a winter jacket when you barely make it possible to afford, at a thrift? Homeless people, people who are too scared to ask for help trying to get by, are counting on you, are being deceived, and these prices are obliterating. Coats I’ve seen ranging from 20-50$ even, are not being sold, sitting in racks and eventually landfill or auctioned off by the pound for a minimal price? Why don’t you just lower the price so that us Canadians who ant afford to pay 40$ can buy them off here instead of selling them cheap to other countried or landfills? If you are periodically getting rid of sales merchandise to make room for MORE that’s a sign that your prices aren’t aligned with your customers budget? Why are they priced more than 10$ when someone who can barely afford their living fees is trusting you to provide assistance with affordability? There are goodwill outlets in London who sell their unsold clothing by the pound for 99 cents and they don’t need to have a façade, a warehouse to hold unsold clothing, which will eventually end up in landfills and shipped to third world countries, where any of the clothing will still end up in landfill? I am disappointed in the pricing system and the AMOUNT of clothes that go unsold every year, and then thrown / “shipped away”. After working at a thrift store myself I am in disbelief at the amount of trust and faith that candians put into donating clothes, where over 50% of it never gets sold. If they weren’t so pricy, I would buy the entire store but every year the prices don’t make it worth it. Once I was donating a bag and an employee thought it was appropriate to break the bag open, and pour the contents of the bag to examine whether or not they merited a 10$ off discount coupon. I feel devastated that I need to go through such lengths to find a deal, and even be treated like this, after being such a loyal donor, and believing in this company. I am disgusted by the policies and pricing, which aren’t flexible towards buyers, OR DONORS whom 90% of their clothing will probably end up in a landfill without them knowing, and playing the “other countries” card isn’t going to work, because the CBC documentary clearly outlines how the warehouse receives TONS and TONS of clothing- I doubt that they are capable of shipping everysingle piece there and once they are sold/auctioned off to thrift world countries (at ROCK BOTTOM prices, which in the first place, if Salvation Army was able to give us CANADIANS in the original store a good price, they would be making a greater profit, but of course they don’t do that)
I am hoping for a change, and more clarity between donors and consumers,
