I'm not impressed for the sole reason that I can't try on clothes anymore. It forces us to return home and if the clothes don't fit, we can only exchange. And, the exchange happens when you return. If you don't spend what you're exchanging then you lose the dollar amount. Nice way of padding your bottom line folks!

A fun place to go and look around. If you do find something, it is reasonably priced. Also, you are supporting a good cause at the same time, and keeping our things out of a landfill site.

I use to LOVE going there until they closed there customer washroom. I don't go now because I think its disrespectful to not have a washroom just in case someone needs it. Sometimes I spend over an hour in there and sometime I may need to go, so now I don't bother going. I complained about it but they don't care I guess. If the washroom cleanliness was an issue because there workers also use it, then hire someone to come in every day to clean it. Customers are not that dirty you know.

Wide isles, friendly staff, unfortunately I noticed l salvation army stores in general are raising their prices on inventory (too much) clothes - which they get free, and is used. It's been a bit ridiculous, I've even mentioned to staff for $14.99 right now I can get new/modern dresses on sale for example, and $2+ for a basic used old dinner plate is too much. T shirts $5+, you can shop new at Giant Tiger as well as clearance racks or sales in stores and online. They need to be more realistic and rememeber they are selling used goods.looked at a fee plain non brand name broches for example as well and they were priced $6.99+! I think They will feel this if they keep this up.
* Thanks for your reply, but. I did mention it.
If your a person who shops and dontates at your storeS, I would imagine it's because, like me - you believe in recycling and reusing and are living on a tight budget and appreciate finding something nice at a bargain. Just saying, perhaps some managers should walk through some Different stores/malls, and look at some online pricing of NEW clothes and items, to better understand what I'm trying to explain. Just today an entire rack of 50+ beautiful new dresses in Carling wood mall are on special for $10 each, and I did point out the $14.99 dress as I was actually wearing mine that I bought new for the same price that day and advised your staff of it. She didn't take it off the shelf and to the back or advise anyone. I don't really care, I'm just saying, when you start pricing at same or higher than new especially different seasonal clothes, people won't buy/spend as much - mark it down a few bucks, and you won't need to make your 50 percent off sales etc because your products will move. Stuff isn't as expensive new as it once used to be.

My human rights violated by the store because I cannot wear a mask for medical reasons and they refused entry to me. Be warned if you have a medical condition do not enter the store.also everyone's reference ranges in a butterick are far too low especially vitamin c so that is why you are prone to infection. Be prepared to hear from a legal rep. Also research orthomolecular medicine

Always has great finds. Overpriced though. They thing they are a retail store now. It's getting that if you are poor, this will be too expensive for the family.

Staff are very helpful and polite, noticed a "supervisor" behaving rudely at cash with one senior customer, was about to intervene but rude Supervisor (lady with a heavy English accent) left right away and an employee stepped in to assist politely. It costs Nothing to be NICE (cheaper than Salvation A.goods).

Thank you Nicole at Salvation Army Head Office for correcting the injustice that occurred to me at this location. The employees at this location are very friendly and helpful making it an enjoyable shopping experience. The Store Manager however does need to improve on her customer service skills to ensure that all her customers feel welcome, safe, happy and want to return to shop again. Thank you.

Larger selection than other Salvation Armys. However, stock was not that good. The staff were all busy, which was good to see, but the place needed some cleaning. Feels very dated inside.

Best thrift store in town hands down. Some over priced items but mostly depends on if it’s a name brand.

All Salvation Army's are great but you have to have lots of time to look through all sizes and get a few pieces. There are usually something on sale on Friday and Saturday; you can sign up for emails on their website to know what they are. This is a smaller location with limited parking.

Great value and wide range. Best place for growing kids who like to play. Even nicer brands and smart clothes. Great stuff.

Yolanda is the most amazing manager and is always pleasant to deal with. Her staff is so helpful and this location is by far my most favorite place to visit. I make all my donations here.

They have tons of selection and great items but when thrift shopping my review comes mostly from the prices. They are very overpriced. Second hand stores get items for free and sometimes sell them for more than what you could get them new at other stores on sale. They would make a lot more money if they lowered the prices substantially because people wouldn't hesitate to buy the items they are eyeing. Instead they pile up with a ridiculous amount of items and do "sales". It's all about moving the merchandise through as fast as you can. I personally would have walked out with 10+ items had they been about half the price. A pair of somewhat okay used flipflops should not be $5. I would say secondhand stores have become a lot more greedy and I've heard the same complaint from many others who have taken to going to winners etc instead.
