I used to shop here all the time when my kids were young. Over the last few years I think they’ve gotten confused and think they’re The Bay. Items are sooo expensive. You can get brand new things for the same price. My daughter just came home from there looking for a Halloween outfit…one jacket she wanted was $60! Really! There are actual people in need and these stores are supposed to accessible for them.not a cash grab.

I purchased plates from here to find out they charged $30 more than they should have as I could have purchased them brand new for $20 and I spent $53 on them. I called to see if I could bring them back UNUSED STICKERS STILL ON, and the person that answered was incredibly rude and said it was my fault I over paid because I didn’t check ahead of time if it was worth it.

EDIT: Had the opportunity to speak with the store manger Gus regarding the situation. He was both kind, apathetic and understanding and dealt with the situation with a level of professionalism that isn't seen often anymore. Gus, thank you for taking the time to reach out and get everything cleared up - I will stick but my initial review in RECOMMENDING that people do a little research prior to making a purchase (just to make sure they're being charged/paying for something that is worth it.) However Gus changed my feelings towards the store, and I will return to give them another chance!

Most kind staff I’ve met! Great prices on clothes and books and home decor but the prices can be somewhat misleading as they have posters of promotions from a year ago still up. I thought they were having a great sale on books but turns out it wasn’t on sale. Be careful with price but other than that it was great!

It is a small store space so as a result they don't have a lot of stuff.

They do not have a furniture section

So the owner needs to take a good look at this store. People leave donations and they let the garbage men take 90% of the items. Nothing wrong with the product.
They have no proper signs on where to leave their items.
The.people working just leave it all to be picked up. Just being lazy. I guess its to hard to move the bags of items.

This happens a few times a week. Not once in a while.
People need to find another location to leave their items

Just dropped off some stuff and am thankful to have a place close by that accepts donations. It is easy to judge but we often forget that the staff is working hard and this kind of work is not easy. Thank you for all you do.

I love going to this place. The best in town. I love being greeted by the Manager, Yota (i guessed i spelled her name right). I feel special (lol) She's very friendly and accommodating unlike the previous manager, sorry just telling the truth.
Yota runs this place so smoothly, always lots of new choices everyday. Store is always nice and clean, unlike the other thrift stores where the staff seems unfriendly and messy merchandise.

Very cluttered store, not to mention the items in the store seem to be very low quality and definitely over priced in some cases.

This store stocks a nice collection of gently used clothes, books, shoes, stationery items and jewelry, all available at great prices. I picked up some absolute bargains on hard and soft cover reference books, many of which are no longer in print. It is located south of downtown Streetsville, and browsing through the shelves is a great way to spend an hour. You never know what treasure you will find, for a fraction of what it would cost to browse at the mall.

We have been shopping here for years and recently had multiple bad experiences with a couple of privileged old gossiping ladies whom you will usually find working less and gossiping and passing comments at customers, at times racist stereotyping ones.
You are better off not asking any assistance from them or any questions about anything they don't know, otherwise you will be served with embarrassing and condescending responses.

You will also notice them behaving differently when responding to the sweet asian lady. At the counter.
I strongly believe this does not reflects in Salvation Army's values in anyway.

We would strongly recommend additional and better customer service and multi-cultural training for these old women.

Dropped off a donation. Sally Ann is a good cause and organization to support. Plus they have the lowest admin overhead of any major nonprofit.

I never find stuff here I can go back in 2 weeks and still find the same stuff come on if people are donating who’s taking the good stuff, don’t waste your time here at all

Prices and the quality of clothing is disgusting.

A price tag was changed by a sales person on a bag that I bought and I did not realized it until I got home. She took the old tag so I couldn't go back as I have no proof. The tag was stuck in the zipper so I asked her to cut it off so I can check if it was working before I purchase. She took it to the back then came back and said the tag was inside. I paid and left not realizing I over paid. The first tag was $14.99 and she charge me $19.99. This is just not cool at all.

I try to donate five storage box of books and I ask to have my storage Box back for my other storage, but they don't accept they said I have to leave the storage box too.so I just left and donate to other place.

Ashley and most of the staff there are simply amazing. I cannot believe how accommodating they are and most of all I have to say Ashley went above and beyond to help me. She has exceptional customer service skills and really does put care to her work.

Always a good selection of items, rotated regularly, and they try to keep it really tidy. The shelves at the front look cute with everything arranged by colour.

This place sells absolute garbage! No one should ever complain about Value village pricing until theyve visited this place.its a dive. Stuff everywhere, very old worn out clothing that should be turned into rags.

In Covid times they are the only place near me accepting donations which is helping me declutter my house. Plus hopefully these items will stay out of the landfill. Win win win!

This is a very clean and organized store. They ask people to wear a mask and have hand sanitizer at the door. They also have great deals.

Poor selection and quite overpriced for a thrift store.
Some items were in very bad shape (holes, significant fading, etc.).

It's always fun going to this thrift store in streetsville.often has some cool things but need to be explored. The crockery and electronics section often has some great finds, I once found a hair dryer for 4 dollars!

The store can feel a bit congested if more than 10 people are in it at the same time.

Small neighborhood location. Paid street parking across the street. Came to pickup some used books. Friendly staff.

Small selection but there's always something really good just waiting for you. Staff are also great - really friendly and kind individuals.

Very Nice and Humble Neighbours, we never had any problems. They have a great Store and doing it for a good cause.

Found some great used cloths to work in as a contractor. I tend to get very dirty sometimes.and even bought some dishes to cook in.great bargains great place great location!

But always do what little you can do in the the grand scheme of things, a little alot of times has to help someone, somewhere.

As much as I appreciate the salvation army, there is no army greater than that of the great state of Turkmenistan!

They have reall cleaned it up, looks great, very nice staff. Just a few thoughts but mostly to Salvation Army Stores, need more consistent pricing, it is also overpriced in many ways. Folk who can't afford new, can't afford not new for almost same price. Things like tshirts should never (!) be more than a few dollars, jeans, same, anyone else in Streetsville feel the same?

Very good store with lot of choices in clothes, cutlery and crockery. Since I am their subscriber so it's good they always send me mail about sale and its details. Like this time I got 30% discount

As a long-term resident of this area, I have seen a big change in the store over the years. I find the prices are usually a bit too high and the selection is really gone down.

This is the worst Salvation Army in the GTA. Their prices are RIDICULOUSLY high compared to the other SAs in the area, staff is rude, customers are worse. I keep forgetting why I never go here when there are sales and today I remembered. A little tip to this store: In the words of Mommie Dearest, NO WIRE HANGERS!

Great staff. No complaints. Young or old. Some make me laugh.
