Went here to get a speaker, the sales person was trying to sell us Bell's internet plan. We were clear that we were happy with our current plan, but the sales rep kept pushing for Bell's plan. After we said we just wanted to pay for the speaker and were not interested in the internet plan, our sales rep was clearly unhappy and was rude to us. I would prefer to shop on Amazon or go to the best buy next time since the price is the same and their sales rep is more friendly.

Who ever Phong is needs to be fired. Literally lies to people to sell new bell contracts. If anyone here offers you 4 free months for new home internet, TV, home phone etc. It's a lie. Bell Canada customer service were shocked when my wife and I called in to ask why they were charging us on the first month of activating a new account after Mr PHONG at this source location sold us the contract with the deal of first 4 months free. The agent at bell customer service launched an investigation because they do not offer deals such as this. Anyways, beware of the walking POS working here.

I was in a while ago to find a new SD card for an old Garmin. I had been unsuccessful until dropping into the store and John found what I needed quickly and it worked fine.

Today, I was trying to find a SD card for a a child’s camera and, again, was unsuccessful until I dropped into The Source. John was there and found what I needed along with the correct USB cable.

He really knows a lot about the technology and products and can answer all your questions and find a solution - very quickly.

A very nice and kind person as well!

I had an awesome experience shopping at this store. The staff were super helpful. Andres helped me find the right products and wasn't pushy, but consultative. Rafael or Raf as everyone calls him, was also very patient and helped me throughout the sale. Sagid along with Raf helped me get the best deals as well.
It's great to see an entire crew of staff be courteous and take their time to help you find products that best fit your needs. Kudos to you all:)

Mike and John are the best! Needed to switch all accounts from rogers to bell (mobile, internet, cable). The whole experience was extremely efficient and seamless. In and out in less than a half hour! Happy to be free from Rogers! Got better service and 2 new phones for less that i was paying with rogers! Been a client since Cantel days and the retention department didnt care, its definitely worth checking out Bell and the Source on the queen st entrance!

Just wanted to say thank you again to Maroof and Jay.
I had an issue with another store and Maroof was the one who had to untwist the entire situation.
He was kind enough to understand me as a customer and listen to my situation, as well as offer as much help as he could. I think he went above and beyond to make sure I was given what I was told I would.
Jay was the one who was setting up everything for me, he set my expectations at the beginning that it might be a bit of a longer process, but I knew he's being through and made sure to confirm everything with me and the manager to avoid future misunderstandings.
Considering I had issued at another store, I was expecting to be treated badly and I was dreading going by myself, but the entire staff was nice and kind and I appreciate their approach and understanding.

I specifically spoke to a customer service representative JAY at this location and bought a pair of beats pro which they didn't have in the colour I wanted I told him I specifically want black he said I CAN exchange at any store. So I go to another store and they say the same location I bought it at has it. When I go back to the location they say 1. They don't have that colour and 2. They're not doing exchanges until Monday because it's black Friday that policy is stupid and this is the WORST customer service I've received. More than one employee at the store were not trying to help and did not give me customer service I definitely will not be going back to the source to buy anything. Smh

Staff member who served me was impolite and argumentative from the get-go; repeatedly told me the item I'd requested was correct when a quick scan of the description line would confirm it wasn't. Found it tough to keep my patience with them. I shouldn't have to use YOUR in-store inventory system for you just so you can do your job. Also, a secondary item I required was listed as in-stock online, but evidently wasn't. A lot of staff just milling around the floor doing very little, despite a steady flow of customers. Despite eventually completing the transaction, thoroughly put off from ever shopping here again.

We went into the store and the worker Angela was very kind and responsive. She cares alot to solve the problem with my gift card. She spent so much of her time helping us. She and the gentleman who was working there I think his name was Jay were polite kind and super helpful.

Great store! Got a help from my guy Maroof, the Assistant Manager and he was really dedicatedly helping me getting the new iPhone 13 Pro! Was helping me and managing the store for 2 hours because there was an issue with my profile, he got that sorted and got me the new phone.

C. JUHSAF Was slow on exchanging an item and then had to refund it and charge me again which takes sales credit away from the amazing staff at dufferin mall. He also wasn’t wearing a mask properly. Won’t return to this location. Plus stop asking about my phone plan.

I was sold a Bell home internet + tv plan by Jasem with the promise of a 50$ giftcard to the source. I returned to the store 3 times to get my giftcard but it was never "ready". He promised to follow up with Bell but I waited 6 months before giving up. He asked me to give him a review twice when I came there with no actual customer service output. This review is a bit old and my experience was early 2019 but I just came across old receipts and had to add this.

The Source customer support email does not respond to my request, and it’s been a month already. Lesson: Online or in store, do not buy from sketchy little store!

Good electronic store. They have great set of headphones. They also have a iPad iPhone accessories. It all looks the same. Interesting Apple gadgets as well as the wireless headphones. Not sure if they could work on their engagement design.

Horrible customer service.there were about 5 associates at the front and NONE of them greeted me.it was boxing day as well! None of them were busy.i approached one guy and asked if they had a usb to hdmi cord and he said no and ran back over to his friends without even considering the fact that i had more questions to ask. DISGUSTING.

Went in for a black Friday cyber monday deal with Virgin mobile. Tristen helped us out a lot! Went back to have the original phone replaced since we didn't like it (nothing wrong with the unit itself just wasn't happy). It was a breeze to have it changed. Great job guys! Great customer service here! Anthony and Tristan were polite, kind and informative. I literally walked in here to kill time during my break from work and ended up making a purchase just cause! Lots of cool gadgets and electronics. Fair prices and a well kept store. I ended up with a Maclaren!

What's the point of having 7 employees on the floor during Christmas rush of all of them are going to be on their cellphone or ignoring customers.

I came in with an item which they had in store according to their website and they did not even want to check their stock.

Hi! I am super disappointed with the service of The Source in Eaton Center. I bought an Xbox one digital for my nephew in South Africa that came as a bundle. When we tried to redeem the codes it was not working. We phoned The Source branch and they did not want to help. I then contacted Microsoft, the parent company for Xbox and they confirmed the the gift codes were redeemed 2 months prior to us purchasing the Xbox. I phoned the Source customer care 7 times and they said that I should visit the store where I bought the product.

The store manager offered to exchange the product but i explained to him that it was in South Africa. He refused to believe me that his store sold a fraudulent product and already redeemed codes.
He was extremely rude and embarrassed me in the store. After emailing him the correspondence and proof the Microsoft confirmed that the codes were redeemed two months prior to the purchase, he offered a $75 gift card which is 1/3 of the value of the digital games.
The value of the games was $178, as per the Microsoft site, which I had sent him the direct links. I had to do all the investigations as the store manager Steve refused to assist. The Source did nothing.

In addition, for all the inconvenience of the issue, he did not want to even consider a compensation.
Please sort out ASAP!

Wish I could give 0 stars. Never shopping here again. I spent several hundred dollars at this store and one of the products I got was heavily tampered, it was missing it's battery and even after I got a battery the product wouldn't even work. I went back with the reciept and product, and instead of apologizing to me and replacing it, the extremely rude manager told there was nothing he could do since the packaging was torn. Don't shop here.

Horrible horrible experience. Avoid and better of buying from amazon or Best Buy. Went into the store to buy a wifi booster. They were different types and brands and I was so confused which to buy. When I did ask one of the source staff about what’s the difference between the 2 different boosters, she could not answer. Had to bring another person and then another person and then another person.they were like we don’t know and kept tossing me around. At the counter, I EXPLICITLY mentioned to the lady that I need a gift receipt IN THE BAG and my receipt on the side. She puts in the original receipt in the bag and gives to me after waiting for about 10 mins. Luckily I did check the bag before leaving and I had found out. Had to go back to the store and ask her to fix her it. She brings a more experienced gentleman. He was able to get me the gift receipt but I had to wait for 20 mins

Very unhelpful as they danced around their piece match guarantee, which as it turns out, wasn't a guarantee at all. Off to a competitor.

Wish we could rate stores zero. This one doesn't deserve even a fraction of a star. The one rep was decent there but his manager was rude and didn't know what he was talking about.

I went in to return a item I purchased online and they had system problems which I could see but he told me that my debit refund would take a week to process. That is a outright lie, debit card refunds are refunded immediately. They took my headphones which are almost $600 and handed me a paper that clearly says "Error timed out" with a code, the first guy says yeah it didn't go back on the card so we should give him back his item and the rude guy said ignore that it's gone back to your card. If it doesn't come back next week. Great more time out of my day to go deal with something that should have been done right then and there.

Seriously unprofessional behavior here now i have called into their online support 3 times to get a answer. Avoid this store at all costs

This is awful. One of the sales men pretend to deceive customers. He pushed customers to buy a new phone with lies. He told us if I trade my old phone, I could take a new phone as a free, but he charged over $100 then in the beginning, he said it was tax and at the end, he told us he made a mistake in calculating for compensation about my trade in phone. In addition, he said I would not charge full bill payment from old carrier and it would be calculated by dates. But, it was wrong. My old carrier charged me full payment. I feel really mad and I swear i will never visit The source eaton centre location again. I think they think customers are dumb

Wanted to buy a router for 34.99, as it was on sale. Ultimately I was supposed to pay 50 bucks instead because they forgot to change price tags
