Great pub. Good beers on tap. British pub vibe. Great staff. Been going here for 20yrs and always a good time. Great food!

Been here twice, enjoyed the wings, and first time I was here I loved the calamari, second time it was way different. Consistency is key when I come a third time if the calamari is not the same again I will degrade to 3 star. Otherwise decent food and a fun place.

Been twice loved it both times. Food was perfect. Service both nights was impeccable. I am sorry it took me so long to try this little gem.
I ordered both nights fried pickles my entree was blue cheese burger. Perfectly cooked both times.

Came here for my grandfathers 80th birthday. Will be the LAST time we ever come here. Was told that people “couldn’t get through” in the parking lot when there was more than enough space. When my grandfather who is deaf simply asked for clarification the server was completely RUDE. She waved her hand right in his face and STOMPED off. He was simply asking a question. If you want servers who are rude and disrespectful to the elderly, this is your place! Oh and management, when confronted they will do nothing about it. GREAT PLACE.

I visited this past Friday and had an amazing experience. All the servers were amazing and caring. We had a birthday and they tended to our every need. They even gave us a free dessert for her birthday. My grandpa frequents the pub with his buddies and always raves about their server, Erin! We had her and she just went above and beyond. Not to mention the food was amazing! 10 out of 10 recommend!

Something to eat for everyone, even my picky eater.

Also best chicken wings in the area. The dragon sauce is a great flavor and hot. Not just extra vinegar.

The beer on tap is always fresh. Staff is friendly, service is great. I wish I found this place sooner; it's been around forever. A staple of g-town

Stull a fun and friendly place even 20+ years later. Dance floor was a bit tiny and it was really hot. Perhaps open a door.

Great pub. Best pub food in town! In my humble opinion, their extra large wings are miles ahead of any other spot in town. Friendly staff!

Cold beer, good food and great music! Absolutely enjoyed the Cajun fries, vegetarian curry and music performed live by Urban Sky. This is what Friday evenings are all about!

Great food and apps. The staff were nice, even though being short staffed. Tried the Yorkshire it was really tasty and had a good amount of gravy to eat with the whole meal plus the Yorkshire itself.

Stopped in today for lunch. Had the crab cakes and a cold pint. Great food/service and beer! Can’t beat an English pub.

Clean facility. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Great service. Great food. Will definitely recommend it and will go back.

We have decided to make this our Friday night spot for dinner. It takes us a total 5 minutes to walk there. The service isn't always the greatest, but the food, drinks, atmosphere and company always make up for it.

Update: Came here in person 2 more times and the server lady was lovely and the drinks were nice!:) I got a side of onion rings with my burger and was given 8 of them, which I thought was not a lot but I also left not feeling bloated which was nice! But if you have a bigger appetite than me it might be too small. Tasted yummy though!

Sadly disappointed. I'm hoping the quality of food is bad just because of Covid19, or maybe it was a slow day so there was lots of extra food. I will try returning when it is open to dine in again, because my fries were cold and rubbery and my burger tasted more like charcoal than meat. If you've had a good experience with the food though I encourage you to keep supporting the business, it is just too expensive for me at the moment for the quality I received.

Went today and server didn't prioritize people who came in.served wrong drink and disappeared. Left before eating and went to the Piper for a great lunch!

Yorkshire pudding was amazing. Bread gravy roast beef mashed potatoes & veggies (inside a bowl of bread)
So good (comfort food)

Great night great friends. That's what life's about. Everybody else seemed to be having a great time. Great vibe. Might have been the alcohol though. Better than Brampton bats these days

There is just something classic about this pub. It hasnt seemed to change in years.
Food is delicious pub fare. The "belly buster" fish and chips are the best ive found anywhere, and the beer selections are plentiful.
Only downside is that food prices seem to have risen quite a bit (everywhere has), and although I totally understand why they need to, it still makes it hard to justify going to eat out.
All in all though, George runs a great pub and i highly recommend it

I am so disappointed in our attempt to have lunch at The George. It's total discrimination that because we were not vaccinated we were not allowed to eat in. We asked to sit outside and the hostess said the patio was also considered inside. Really.

Ordered the curried chicken (had it before) not as good this time, not enough curry sauce very dry. Will not order it again.

Outdoor dining was nice, service was great, and the food was suprisingly good! Mosquitoes were a tad annoying but nothing unmanageable.

Did take out for my family last night. Had a variety of dishes. Shepards Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Saint Burger, Turkey Burger, and Chicken Tetrazzini. Overall the food was very good. Showed up exactly at the 30 minute mark they had told me but the food was already cold unfortunately. Will be back for Dine-in

Great service, fair pricing, amazing food. Highly recommend their wings and Snake Bites, though my brother tells me their burgers are top notch too. Their pickup arrangement during COVID is also well-organized.

Service is terrible, staff and management are very rude. Would never go back. Food is not the best, so so.

So happy we decided to order turkey dinner take out. It was hot when I got it home and delicious. We normally have 20 here, because of covid-19 just the two of us. Thank you for such a great job.

Not overly expensive. Good place for a birthday party because you can be far enough away from others to be safe. Staff person was nice. There were just the 8 of us, but it was quite pleasant. Everyone's food was nice except mine.

I ordered the "meaty Chicken Wings" and they were certainly meaty, but not a speck of fat in them so they were crunchy, chewy, dry, hard to rip off the bone, and rather difficult to enjoy, so stay clear of that dish.

Seriously overcooked, but everyone else had a good time, and with the friends and conversation it was still a good night. Birthday boy was 73 so I wasn't gonna make a fuss and upset the party. Just stay clear of the chicken wings—they are completely horrible.

The Tuesday wing special has gone up in price significantly, 2lbs for $20 and you can't mix flavours. Since Covid they won't sell you a Schooner, I guess the glasses are gathering dust. It's back to Chucks Roadhouse for me, until The George goes back to normal.

Great little place to go for a warm tasty meal. A favorite of my family's. Sometimes the crowd can be a little excited if there is a big game on tv, but it's a pub, what else would you expect? The food is great and the servers are always polite.

An excellent English pub in downtown Georgetown, with both well known draft beers from UK and Ontario Craft beer. The English mates I was with highly recommend the Yorkshire pie, or "authentic English pub fare. " I had the chicken parm which after a 6 hour hike in the near by Limehouse Trail, was sufficient for the price. I enjoyed the Wright House Red Ale from Furnance Room Brewery (a Georgetown brewery).

Georgetown's most authentic pub, in my opinion. Laid back atmosphere, killer food, and decent prices. A nice selection on tap.

Atmosphere is great but the food wasn't good at all. We had chicken wings that were way overcooked and they weren't busy. A staple food at a pub. Come on guys you need to up your game! Maybe they should be featured on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

Had an amazing good time here and the band was awesome. Service was really good. ONly had drinks so did not try any food so i cannot comment on the food part.every thing else was great

Decent pub. Food is good but a bit too expensive for what it is. Service was great. Wouldn't be opposed to visiting again but wouldn't go out of my way.

Food is okay, but this place can get quite busy, which effects the quality of service unfortunately. Also, parking is terribly congested. Not sure how they are able to accommodate such large amounts of people.

This spot obviously knows how to satisfy their clients. Consistently with a super nice mindset. The food is conveniently priced, always delicious and clean.

My absolute go-to in town. Always at the top of “where do we go for dinner”. Hosts are always great and with the food to match. Either sharing or ordering on your own, there’s always something.

Very busy, short staffed with a party going on. Signature burger over cooked & meatloaf the same. Made me question the quality of the meat or the quality of the cook. Standard pub fare, nothing special, but filled our bellies.

Popped in hear on our way home from a hike at the Forks of the Credit provincial park. Nice classic English pub with lot's of TV's for watching a sporting event. Food was delicious. I had the curry which was very spicy and the waitress warned us about that. I ordered the coconut shrimp for an appetizer not expecting much from an English pub but there were perfectly cooked with good coconut flavour and the dipping sauce was nice and spicy.

We celebrated a family birthday there and they were very accomodating. The food was excellent as was the service.

Great patio and nice atmosphere. The menu has lots of choices and the food is really good. Reasonable prices to. Gets pretty noisy inside to the point you can't hear your friends talk and the patio, which is great, is Street side and very noisy with the traffic. Hence 4 stars

After years of patronizing this restaurant/pub with family I am downgrading my review due to serious inconsistencies in billing. We often get take out.same items.always ALWAYS different price charged. When questioned I was told there is a 1$ takeout fee.that according to their calculations was charged one time of 4 transactions. Still not accounting for the price range difference in the other 3 transactions. None of the 4 bills accounted for a takeout fee. I believe the staff to be pricing as they see fit and taking advantage of the patron to not question the amount on pick-up (as it was my daughter collecting said order on all occasions). Btw.not even an apology from them in our correspondence with them about this. Well done.
