I've been a few times and had mostly good experiences. Three out of four times, the staff were helpful, and attentive, and answered questions I had (I was new to D&D).

Strangely enough, after months of play I went back to buy some minis and had no more newbie questions and definitely felt like I was inconveniencing the staff. I don't know what minis are with collections/sets (okay, does that make me a newbie still?) and in the end I didn't find what I was looking for and it seemed like I had really put them out. If the staff doesn't want to show items kept behind the counter, a better system is needed to help people find what they need.

I'll probably go back but not for anything they keep behind the counter.

We were running a draft last night and needed basic lands desperately. This store was the only one that was open at the time. They overcharged us significantly. I didn't raise a stink in store but I won't be coming back.

Cool store and good products, though looking at the dice sets can be difficult.came in a hour before closing & when asking to look at the sets, whoever was working told me “they didn’t have a lot of time to do this, as it’s restock night”. Made me kind of uncomfortable - did buy some dice but feels awkward to go back to check dice if it’s gonna cause conflict

Less swords than you’d imagine but all around great place.everyone who works here looks like they would work here and I don’t say that out of malice I am just making an observation. Knowledgeable and polite staff. #respectfully

Amazing place, great staff who are very knowledgeable about 40k and table top RPGs and much more so if you enjoy a good chat and some nice people with common interests definitely recommended it

Fantastic place to find all of your miniature battle table top needs. If you're looking for a place to play mini battle games with friends this is a great place to do it too with their in-house gaming room. Looking for a particular hard to find piece for your army? These folks can help you find it. I've never seen a shop of this kind that's so well organized too. A must-visit.

Prices of magic products (boosters), bcw cardboard boxes and dragon shield sleeves are pricier than other stores around Toronto. Would recommend meeplemart or 401. Or try any other smaller gaming/hobby shop.

This spot is good because it's local to me. Sometimes the atmosphere is a little lack luster, as it is a small store, bit their collection is fairly vast. The host a slew of tournaments from pokemon to yu gi oh to MTG

Had a great experience! Didn't catch the name of the person who helped us out but they showed us the house dice, were helpful and enthusiastic, and even showed us some of the fancier dice they were fond of that I definitely want to come back and buy later!

Very satisfied with the dice I bought. They're good quality and the colors are lovely. The store has a cozy, personal feel to it, and I'm excited to come back and buy more stuff.

Never visited a place like this before. Friendly staff and it was fun to test a game that my friend made.

Came in near closing and understandably the employee seemed pretty annoyed. Just wanted to pick up one small thing 10 min before closing but was give some attitude when I asked a beginner question

Here's my $1.50 on why I won't be going back to this hole after a handful of visits.

If you need specific singles, stay far away from this place.
You can tell immediately from walking in they have 0 interest in serving you. Go in with the expectations that this isn't a game shop, it's more or less a housing for product and the staff are only interested in filling online orders and not interacting with customers directly.
Asking for singles (mind you in the $30+ range and multiples of them) is a headache and is shown visibly on thier faces the second you ask. The amount of "we don't have it" before they even look is common.
The staff are meh at the best of times and rude most of the other times, the owner makes it known very clearly that they're bothered by any request to see products or cards. Most, if not all of my card Crack buddies have had similar experiences with them as well, which is a shame since they usually have what other stores don't.
401 Games has a better staff and Face to Face is always down to chat about decks and games and will happily fish singles out for you. Worth the extra couple bucks you'd spend there.
All in all, I won't be surprised if they go strictly online and keep it that way. Good riddance if they do too.

Amazing hobby store and great source for Magic products. D&D/ttrpg dungeon masters will appreciate the bounty of tabletop products on offer. They have a large basement for events, but be sure to bring a mask/vaccination records (as of March ‘23) since they are very strict on this.

Id give it hhigher but the mask wearing to this point is ridiculous, if the people that work there feel they personly need to wear a mask so be it but demanding people still doo is ridiculous.

This is the best games store in the city. They mostly do rpg but the staff really knows what they’re talking about with board games. Great selection and wonderful at recommending! If they don’t have it they’ll get it. Huge fan! Thanks guy for the continued help!

Good deals and AMAZING deals on second hand warhammer. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff.

Walked in today around 9pm asking if I can pickup a few mtg cards. Was told that I had to email the store, which is totally fine but the clerk said that no one in Toronto sells cards via walk in and I responded with "I bought cards from A&C this morning. The clerk said that I was lying. Seriously! What reason would I have to lie about that.
