Atmosphere is nice, the reception was very welcoming.
The girls who did my nails was kind of quiet, which is fine but all I got was a xmas gel mani with red tips and I asked to add a snowflake on one nail per hand and she wasn’t sure if she had enough time - ummmm ok but I’m here with two other ladies and they are far from being done, just didn’t really understand that. Which is what it is, but, now that it hasn’t even been a week since the service and I already have a nail peeling. Not worth the price in my opinion. But receptionist was super cute!

Do not go the manager is very rude and abusive. Also rather than be kind and problem solve she I as about lying and threatening customers. Or maybe just the ones that have disabilities or are minorities. I have never in my life been treated like this after being kind to staff and paying their full price to be threatened and thrown out because I had a different skin tone. Made a report to mall security -

I had my first pedicure here and was pleased. It was very clean and bright, and I feel the service was well priced. The polish selection was good as well. When I got home I realized 2 of my nails had smudged but that is MY fault for not wearing the right sandals. I did notice a bit of flooding on a cuticle but my nails are very small so I am not surprised. The music was a little loud for my taste, and I wish they offered unscented products.

I like the bench style seating and the plastic basins instead of the massage chairs and jetted basins. It felt very clean!

I would return here for another pedicure or a manicure.

Everything about my visit was excellent, professional, very clean, All the ladies there were so kind and didn't miss telling me anything or doing anything. My esthetician Alicia was the best and very, very gentle and checked in with me and made sure the water was to my comfort level for my pedicure.

Just had the best experience with Jordyn. She was polite, friendly and quick! Will be rebooting again!

I still can't get over the prices I paid! And I have had far better mani, pedis for half the price! The fact that there is alcohol helped me not say anything while I was there!

I’ll start off by saying that I owned my own salon prior to relocating, so I tend to be overly critical and pay very close attention to the cleanliness, professionalism and health board standards. I had a gel overlay and shellac done today and it was bar none the best experience I have had in a very long time. I see some reviews on here complaining about price or the time it took for their service and it absolutely blows my mind. These ladies are all individually educated, by very reputable schools and the health and safety of their clients is their utmost priority. Sure, there’s a nail salon on every corner, probably faster and cheaper. But I will take quality service each and every time over dollar value. Furthermore, this is a new establishment, there are going to be a few kinks to iron out. But every review I’ve read highlights their cleanliness and customer service. Keep up the great work ladies! It’s a saturated market out there, full of unlicensed “techs”, I appreciate you!

Excellent service! Very thorough and careful technicians! Victoria did an amazing job! My feet are thankful and my red nails are perfectly dazzling! Jordan did a fantastic job on my daughter’s hands and ticklish little feet. She was so patient and very easy going! Thanks Ten Spot for creating a spa experience in a salon! I had the gel overlay done by Zoe. Manicure was done with care and precision and I am very satisfied with the end result. The place itself is clean and cozy and the whole staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place as a great beauty salon in Peterborough.

Great first experience tinting with Alicia! My lashes and brows look amazing and she totally nailed my notched brow. The entire place is spotlessly clean and the staff was constantly cleaning equipment. Definitely will be back!

I booked a quickie Pedi for an up coming wedding this weekend, and what a wonderful experience it was! Not only was the staff super friendly they made you feel very comfortable, Becky & Jordan made me feel right at home. The atmosphere, music, décor and cleanliness was amazing. Very professional I would recommend Ten Spot for anyone.

I went for waxing, wasn't get done properly, staff wasn't professional as she should be, spent $176 but not worth it. Never go back there.

I love this place! I have had multiple services here. Eyelash/eyebrow tint. Lash lift. Mani and pedi. Staff is friendly and professional. The place is extremely clean and relaxing. I highly recommend if you are looking for an experience above and beyond the typical nail salon.

I absolutely LOVE this Peterborough location. The atmosphere alone sold me on how positive, inviting and professional the establishment truly is. From the extremely attentive and kind greeting when I walked in, to the care and follow-up call after my nail appointment, 5 STARS! The products and setting of the location were kept very clean and organized. During my visit, I watched how all guests were treated with respect and attentiveness- no matter what age or ethnicity. Due to my busy schedule, long-lasting manicures/pedicures are a must and it has been a good few weeks with my shellac manicure still beautiful as ever! The atmosphere at Ten Spot was super relaxing, not pretentious like some spas.
Shelby was myn esthetician and she did a great job.

The shop was clean and bright. I took my daughter for her first mani/pedi and the staff were patient, nice and did a stellar job. Thank you for the impeccable services.

The place is super nice and upbeat. Staff is friendly. I had a facial done. It was so relaxing and exactly what I needed. They also knew a lot about the products they used which was helpful. My skin glowed for more than a week! So radiant!

As a reasonable person I do understand that mistakes happen, with that in mind here is what I have to say.
The place looks great, new and welcoming. First, an issue with booking the wrong service we wanted a shellac but got booked for regular polish. Again mistakes happen.
We arrived early, a 45 min service was booked for us for 1: 40pm, but shellac service is 50 min. Instead of just extending it, we were told if we still want it, they would have to cut out some other part of pedicure like massage etc.we agreed. The actual service didn’t start until 1: 53pm and finished exactly at 2.25pm. So we got cut another 13 minutes of pedicure which was already very brief.
A 2 star off for starting late and not giving us at least a 45 minute booked service. A star off for charging us a full price for shellac pedicure and receptionist telling us “there is nothing I can do, I don’t make the prices” it wasn’t about the price, but about not getting what was promised for that price, mind you $80 each. The two stars are for, being actually clean and for aestheticians being friendly.

Clean place with friendly staff! However, my shellac manicure only lasted 3 days before it started chipping and falling off - disappointing!

Edit: they contacted me and were very apologetic. Insisted that they have me in to fix it as this is not something that should be happening - look forward to going back in to have it corrected! Changed to a three star.
