Tshika gave me the most painless wax I’ve ever had today! She was so gentle and caring towards my pregnancy needs which is so appreciated. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The staff is so nice, super accommodating and they always make you feel comfortable, no matter what service you’re getting.

I now have two very happy feet, thanks to Tshika and her wonderful work. She is delightful and did a beautiful job in every respect. I highly recommend her and The Ten Spot.

I can’t say enough about our experience today at Ten Spot in BWV. My daughter and I both got manicures and it was so great. It was my daughters first manicure and the kiddie manicure was the perfect way to go! I also got a shellac manicure and the whole team helped me get what I was going for a glazed donut nail look.

Quick and friendly service, very easy to schedule online, and the atmosphere in the salon is great. Can definitely recommend it!

Probably the worst experience I've had in my life.

Ive heard good things about the Ten Spot and had been a few times over the years for nails and figured I qould try their waxing. I was booked for a Brazilian and it was the most painful and unpleasant experience. Likely a combination of lack of skill from esthetician and wax at the wrong temperature. This appointment ran long and the entire experience was her pulling at hair unsuccessfully and unapologetically. Ive had brazilians for the last 15 years and never had this experience. It startef off poorly and adter the third yank with no hair removal I asked her what was going on. One strip should only be pulled once. I mentioned several times the hard wax was the wrong temperature and wasn't hardening - and frankly she was pulling incorrectly as well. The esthetician kept trying to pry and pull on unhardened wax (which basically is just pulling goop - both painful and ineffective at removing the hair). I did end up with a full wax but two areas of bruising to go with it.
I seldom received an apology but rather the esthetician blamed ME for her inability to remove hair properly. I was perfectly still and she told me it was a problem with my hair type (which I've never had before).

The overall waxing room facilities are dated with the tables having worn leather and paint peeling off walls.

The only silver lining was they took 50% off the service and said a manager would call me to smooth it over (which they didnt). I would not go back. Go to Waxon bloor west instead.

I enjoy going to the Bloor Ave West Location. The staff are welcoming and professional. My only complaint is that I wish they would offer the more up to date OPI colours.

The best nail place ever! They have really friendly staff, a tv in the room playing movies and unlike other places they really want you to feel relaxed and enjoy being there. It’s a bit more expensive than some places but if you can afford it the quality and service are worth it 100%

I have always gone to the Ten Spot ever since I moved to Toronto. I’ve tried two of their locations and I have always been treated very kindly and respectfully. The space is clean and bright and the staff are friendly, welcoming, professional, and gentle.

The technician did for me named Cindy. Trust me I’ve been many places for waxing and she is the best. She could handle any type of hair, short, long, and her skills are just so good, and professional. Some places they don’t mind the clients, they did not put their hands on after they took the strips out, and on the same day, I came to the Waxon salon closeby this store, their staffs told me the clients need to trim themselves, clean it themselves and make it short perfectly enough in order for their staffs do the service, their jobs are just do wax - not trim, or cut the hair, so I luckily found The Ten Spot when they do your things, with care and respect. This is the first time I went and tried the service at The Ten Spot, you will not be disappointed, I guarantee! If she’s available, you should schedule the service you want with Cindy!

I love the ten spot so much. Their x membership program is SO worth it and keep me on top of my waxing. Basanta at the Bloor West Village location is the best! Highly recommend any of the ten spot services!

Super clean and professional. The only issue was that my lady didn’t know how to get my tough to reach angles right and I had to step in to offer moving my position otherwise she was struggling. I guess she was new but I never had that issue before with any waxer! Otherwise she was thorough and checked for missed spots.

This the T H E place if you want to feel like a TEN! I always ask for Arezo at the Bloor West location because she is soooo talented, kind and professional.
The ONLY thing that I'd ask The Ten Spot to improve upon is the user experience on a mobile device - I find that the text is too small and the grey is too light to read on my phone, but easier to read on desktop. Love The Ten Spot!

They turned me away because I brought my baby with me (in his car seat) to the appointment. For a company primarily serving women I would expect better.

My first pedicure since COVID hit and it was great to go back here! Friendly, professional staff; super-clean (as always) ; and, as always, great job on my pedi (Montana was amazing!)! The one thing I miss is the beverage service. I understand why they haven't brought that back yet, but I hope they can bring it back soon!

Great experience. I've had two appointments so far. Tanya and Arezo were great at making me feel comfortable during my appointments. They clearly explained the entire procedure, talked me through it, and what to expect with aftercare. Couldn't be happier with the service and how safe I felt with the Covid safety measures they have in place.

They were able to accommodate me as a walk in for a pedicure one afternoon and they did such a good job I decided to get a manicure as well. This is the first nail salon I’ve been to that didn’t make any silly comment about my short nails. Everyone was very kind and professional. Thank you!

Very unprofessional service and staff, i was told that my son (8 years old) could wait for me at the reception so I booked an appointment for me and my mom, arrived to my appointment and one of the girls told me he can’t stay because they don’t have extra sits, i said it’s fine he can just sit close to the window and he will have my phone with him, then she said actually he can not seven sit on the floor but that outside on the street there’s plenty of sits and he can wait for me by his own outside. Of course I canceled my appointment! Can’t believe she actually suggested me to leave my kid by his own on the street. Staff need better training and common sense.

Had a great, professional and COVID-safe quickie pedicure today with Tanya. From the moment I walked in the door, she was friendly and efficient and did a wonderful job on my pedicure. Will come back again for future services so I can rest easy and not worry about cleanliness. This location has always been super clean and sanitized, even before the pandemic. Their prices are higher than most of the smaller independent nail salons, but I think (and hope) that reflects that they pay their employees a living wage and don’t re-use material or skimp on products. This is my go-to nail spot.

Excellent place to get laser. I've gone three times and it's been super efficient and thorough. Montana is exceptionally professional and makes the experience as pleasant as possible. And throughout the pandemic when we kept having to reschedule my appointments, I got personal emails to rebook. Highly recommended.

I went to get my eyebrows shaped for the first time and I left very disappointed. My eyebrows were full and long. Now my brows are short and uneven. One eyebrow is shorter than the other and the lady took off almost 1/4 off of each eyebrow. I did not get what I paid for.

The Ten Spot in Bloor West Village continues to be a space that offers great service and a clinically clean space with materials you know have just been sanitized! As someone who used to get her nails done all the time pre-COVID, The Ten Spot in Bloor West is the only beauty bar I've frequented when not on lockdown. The staff are extremely friendly, and they offer great creative advice when you're stumped on polish colour choice. The Ten Spot team takes their time with each appointment, always following pandemic preparedness guidelines, and helping customers feel more like themselves again, despite the uncertainty in the world among us!

Everyone working at this location is lovely. I felt a lot of anxiety about my laser appointment but Arezo put me at ease. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and will be coming back as well:)

I normally go to the Tenspot on roncy but Bloor west is much closer, I was anxious about going to someone else but I’m glad I switched.
She’s also great to talk too while you’re there. She’s so personable.

I'm pretty disappointed with the facial I had today. The lady that did my facial only did extractions on my nose, leaving all the other areas (such as forehead, chin or the sides of my face) with many blackheads. I thought I would get extractions done on my whole face since the whole purpose of a facial is to remove impurities and leave the skin feel clean. But I guess not. The massage part was good, except for the fact that I could hear people talking and footsteps outside of the room which didn't help me to fully relax. I received great recommendations on products to use on my face but the service I received wasn't definitely worth the $135 that I paid.

I received a manicure and pedicure done by Montana and Jasmine. I was very pleased with the service as they were both attentive to my needs and detail. The spa was neat and tidy. Great experience!

I had Nadia who waxed me and I was very shocked at how painless it was, she's amazing and I'd love to see her again! I'd give this a 5 star if it was a little bit more on the affordable side.

Came here for the first time in October. Great experience. Definitely going back again. At the time I had gotten a brazilian wax done for the first time in YEARS and the experience was SOOOOOOO much better than what I remembered when I had done it years ago at another salon. I'm pretty grateful you guys have that technique mastered!
