The value for money is not there. Over $100 for essentially press on nails to be cured to mine, no shaping, gel spilling onto my cuticles and the colour is transparent. Asked about fixing the transparent ends and she said she already gave me four coats.
The convenience and the Netflix on tv is not worth the poor results. Standard nail spots offer better results for less cost.

Really fine facial - have had many so I can compare. Lots of up to date techniques and tools used with professionalism and nice low scent, quality products. Thanks Erica.

Would avoid at all cost for waxing. I went to get my eyebrows waxed and left with painful first degree burns under my eyebrows. Even after 24 hours the redness had faded a bit but the burn marks were obviously noticeable

Super disappointed with my last experience. While the location is clean and staff were great, my nail polish chipped and flaked off the next day. Was hoping for a bit better quality nail polish, given the cost they charge for a pedicure.

Came here to (try to) get pampered 3 days before my wedding day. I've been a healthcare worker during the pandemic and thought I could catch a relaxing break here, well I was certainly wrong.
1) Asked for a simple brow wax / clean up and specifically told the aesthetician not to remove any width from my brows. I look in the mirror and see that she has taken a huge chunk out of my left brow - 3 days before my wedding!
2) I wanted to get my nails done and they didn't have the colour I wanted. They didn't bother to help me problem solve. They tried offering me another day, but my wedding is 3 days away at this point and I work in healthcare so I could only take a small afternoon off.
Most of all - the staff made me feel the furthest thing from relaxed. I could hear them speaking in french about me. They probably didn't know but I can speak french and could understand what they were saying.
I love other ten spot locations, but this is a place I'll never be going back to again.

Such a great experience. I got a brazilian and this is my new go-to place. There was a tv in the waxing room which really helped to ease my nerves, she was so quick, and she gave me a mirror to check for any missed hairs at the end. Wonderful service!

Everyone so friendly and everything on time!

I have been to many ten spots across the country and to this location a few times. I was dissatisfied with my most recent experience as the aesthetician appeared to be sick (blowing nose many times etc) I felt uncomfortable as a facial service involves the aesthetician basically breathing on you and standing over your for an hour. Also, there is no use of gloves. I asked her politely to mask up but I was shocked that the mask wasn’t over the nose by the end of the service and I’m assuming the whole time because I could feel breathing on my face. I think generally - any service where people are so close to your face, it’s beneficial to mask up (like dental hygienists and dentists). Unfortunately, I will go elsewhere in the future & hope I don’t get sick from this. I’m getting married this year and don’t want to risk getting sick before my wedding at appointments like this that have a simple mitigation strategy- just wear a mask if you’re inches from my face lol.

Don't recommend. I got a shellac polish job only to return home and see that a top coat wasn't applied to three of my fingers. Now, only a week later, the polish is already cracking and chipping on almost every nail.

You can walk up the street 5 minutes to Top Nails and receive 100% better quality and attention to detail for a fraction of the price that Ten Spot charges.

Got a pedi done as a self care treat for my bday, booked online about a week prior, super easy and fast…the gals were all kind and professional, Britney was awesome. Clean and happy atmosphere, I walked out with a nice blue shellac pedi! Will be back! Thank you!

It was my first time at the Ten Spot today. Very friendly service at the reception desk. My esthetician Emily was so welcoming, professional and warm. She made me feel really comfortable, being the pack of nerves that I was since I didn't get a brazilian done in a few years now.

It was a little more painful than I remembered haha but Emily was there to keep me grounded and her breathing technique for each strip really made a difference!

I will be sure to return for any 'brazilly' need:)

I usually don’t like writing reviews but I need to tell my experience in hopes this doesn’t happen to someone else. On Saturday august 27th I had an appointment at 11am for a Brazilian. I’ve been getting this service for about 2 years now so I’m definitely not a beginner and I know what to expect. I’ll add that I just moved to Ottawa a few months ago and this place is close to my house and had good reviews so this is where I’ve been getting my Brazilians since moving here. I arrived to my appointment a bit early so I expected a wait. But I wasn’t taken for my appointment until almost 11: 10, I also noticed that a lady that had just finished giving a pedicure to another Client was going to be doing my wax. During my appointment I noticed that the girl seemed a bit inexperienced, her techniques were very different that any I've experienced before and weren’t as effective for pain and getting the hair. She also dropped something half way through my appointment and went to pick it up with her gloves on, which is a huge health and safety issue. I asked to stop and come back another day to finish my wax. Please avoid Britney from the ten spot. By the time I got dressed and went up to pay she was already doing another clients nails. Multiple red flags. I also spoke with the manager and asked if the lady I went to was experienced and she said no then quickly apologized and said yes she is. Very disappointing. Please avoid seeing Britney for any waxing services.

This was my first visit to this franchise of spas, mine located in the Glebe Ottawa. Not one complaint. Clean, bright, friendly, professional, efficient and welcoming. I had Denise for brows and threading, (extremely accommodating and so skillful and careful, Emily for manicure and pedicure, a sweetheart and careful and experienced. My daughter gave me a gift card for Christmas, best gift ever. All of the services I had done were amazing. Both girls were so great at their jobs. If only I could I would go back monthly!

The service was good, however very pricey. I was charged $68+tax for just a shilac manicur with no extensions or build or special design.

Emily is absolutely amazing! I have been seeing her for my last few visits and she is always incredibly friendly and funny, which makes the experience so much better! The front desk staff is always very kind and welcoming. Awesome job ladies!

Very clean and thorough pedicure service. Seats are fairly close together in case that is something that bothers you. I wish they had dip powder!

Last time I was in, about a month ago, I made an appointment for myself and my friend to get manicures - since I found any phone calls I've made in the past to be very confusing.
Arrived at the appointment, and turned out it wasn't made properly by the staff at the desk when I made it.
The manager at the desk made it seem like this is somehow my responsibility to ensure the appointment was made - and didn't not offer an apology for the mistake, but instead put the blame on me and asked constantly if I got an email to confirm the appointment.
After my last manicure coming clean off after a week, and this more recent super unapologetic visit I had - I will say this location is not worth your time or money.

I've been here many times, and Emily, the wax esthetician, has been amazing, and I never fail to give them a good tip. However, I was ten minutes late for my appointment today due to my toddler. Upon arrival, the receptionist was extremely rude and told me they had cancelled my appointment. Apparently, they had called but they’d been calling the wrong number. She gave me this attitude as if we’re not sorry we cancelled your appointment.left a really bad sour note after that. I am reconsidering looking for another place.

Really great experience! Everything was clean, on time and as expected.

The one issue: I was told they looked good, however, my toenails were not completely dry when I left the salon. When I got home I noticed that the polish on two of the nails were ruined. Disappointing that I didnt even get to enjoy them looking their best for 5 mins!

Immaculately clean and prompt service. The space is bright and airy, and the services rooms are quiet and relaxing. I got a lash lift done and the results are still going strong after 4 weeks. Would definitely recommend.

My spouse thinks this Ten Spot location is dreadful. She had an atrocious Brazilian wax experience. She called to complain and the owner offered a free service instead of a refund. Went back for a gel manicure that was horrific quality. Returned again today for an eyebrow wax and her appointment was delayed by 30 minutes with no apology from the receptionist. Will never be returning. Avoid this place at all costs. There are better locations such as the one in Westboro, where you’re actually treated as a valued customer. Also, the woman doing the waxing got hot wax all over my new glasses and I’m not sure if it’s going to even come off. Wish I could I could give less than 1 star.

Almost 6 weeks ago I went to have my healthy, thick, eyebrows laminated here. In the process, they waxed and removed most of my brows. No consultation, and very defensive when I articulated my shock on seeing them. The purpose of lamination is for your brows to receive a fuller, more even look. Instead, I was left looking like I had plucked them into oblivion. I received a full refund but it will take me years to regrow my eyebrows. Manager’s excuse was that “not everyone likes lamination”, without acknowledging the actual removal. Very upsetting experience.

The worst Brazilian I’ve ever had. I’ve been getting consistent Brazilians for over 10 years now and I’ve never had an experience like this. I am bruised and still in pain. It is difficult to walk without pain. I took the chance to try out a new place and Would not recommend.

Men! Do not send your ladies here. My girlfriend got a gel manicure on Sunday. By that night her nails were beginning to peel. By Wednesday she was only left with 2 nails that looked decent. Upon leaving her nails looked streaky. She is very disappointed in this experience.
10/10 would not recommend to my worst enemy. Unless you're into that kind of thing

This is my third visit to the salon and it has been outstanding every, single time. We were welcomed by such a wonderful and bright staff. They were even able to accommodate my sister who also had a pedicure. The aestheticians were friendly, professional and did a great job. I will definitely be returning!

I decided to book a mani pedi here because my usual spot was booked and ten spot had good reviews. Unfortunately the experience was not worth the price. With a pedi w bio gel for 71$ and mani w bio gel at 50$ I expected maybe an offer of a drink or soemthing to elevate the experience but no.
The shop was cold in more than one way, cold temperature and design. My estetician was kind but not 71$ amazing. With that said my nails looked good.
Unfortunately I will not be back due to the price and how cold I felt the entire time.

I’ve been here twice for a manicure and pedicure and the service has been fantastic. The ladies at the front desk were very kind and were great at answering my questions over the phone and in the spa. The esthetician Sara did a great job and was very clean and precise. I’ll definitely be back again!

I would like to thank all the staff that welcomed us so warmly at the ten spot! This is my second time in this week, the first for a manicure and this time for a pedicure with my Husband. A special thanks to Taylor for taking good care of me. Hope to see you all again soon.

I had my waxing session with Denise and I could not recommend her / The Ten Spot enough! Denise was very kind and talkative which helped distract from the waxing pain. She was also very quick, hygienic, and knowledgeable! This was one of the most painless/quick waxing sessions i've ever had! 10/10! Will definitely be going back:)

Although I was warned that one of the girls was in training so the service would be free, my daughter-in-law was refused the pedicure and offered a manicure instead. The trainee’s work wasn’t checked or monitored and although free, was not well done. My daughter in law commented that she thought the trainee was rushed and her advice would be to slow down and get it right.
I realize that the salon is has just reopened, and appeared to be very busy. My pedicure was fine but it will be awhile until we book another service.

Fantastic experience at THE TEN SPOT the Glebe.
It was the first time I've ever been there and they nailed it. I went for the Brazilly and underarm wax - never had a wax before, I was a little nervous needless to say. Sarah made me feel so absolutely comfortable with her genuine and professional attitude throughout the entire process. The room was incredibly clean with all COVID mask protocols being followed. I have already booked my next appointment with Sarah in a month from now. 10/10 recommend this location for their waxing services.

I wish I can give a 5 star review, however I’ve tried 2 services here and I honestly feel it’s not worth the price nor a satisfying service.

The staffs are always warm and I love the cleanliness and vibe of the place. However my pedicure was not thorough enough compare to other places, the heels and cuticles were not at all taken care of. It was a lot shorter then the time expected, which was listed on the website.

Lash lift was a new service, and there’s literally no lift. For $90 it costs a lot more then most places, however I wanted to give it a try because of the convenience of the distance. However there’s literally zero lift, and I left with a lot of gunky glue still on my lashes. Perhaps more experience is needed? But it definitely was a lost of a lot of money.

With the service and the costs, regretfully I doubt I would revisit. I’d like to stress that the staffs and the place are very nice.

Paying 90+ dollars for a pedicure should mean the service is outstanding. Unfortunately the service was basic, easily gotten elsewhere for a better price. The worst part however, was that the employee doing my pedicure said they don't do foot massages during covid. When I asked why, she said she didn't know, possibly to "save time". Really? Reading the reviews now, I see that other customers also weren't offered foot massages even pre-Covid. Despite the fact that I think most people look forward to a foot massage and assume its part of the price, this price was not adjusted. Not worth the hype.

My daughter and I went here for the first time, today, for pedicures. They were extremely well set up for COVID-19, while still maintaining the friendliness and peacefulness of a spa. The location is beautiful and perfect if you enjoy people and dog watching! Emily and Andi were amazing and did a terrific job, and the person at the front desk was awesome. Thanks for the pampering - we look forward to visiting again soon!

I've been going to this Ten Spot for over a year now and have had, for the most part, great appointments. Andi, in particular, has provided exceptional service. I highly recommend her!

I've been to different locations of the Ten Spot in different cities but this is by far my favourite location. The staff is really nice, the waxing is quick and painless and the beauty salon is clean! Wish they had a student discount though.

Great clean atmosphere, I have high confidence that the tools they use are sanitary.

I went in for waxing and with a quick look in the mirror, I was satisfied. However, when I went home, I noticed that some spots had been missed entirely. I called back to express my concerns and was understood immediately. The manager offered a fix up for free (which I would expect) but then added an offer of half price on my next service.

I was pleasantly blown away at how quickly and efficiently my concerns were dealt with; and with my follow up appointment, I have the results I was looking for. I share this, because shops and people can have an off session and it’s all in how they respond to a complaint and recover.

With this kind of service and goal of client satisfaction, I will continue to be a client. Thank you!

I got the ten spots signature brazilly wax here for the first time ever this morning and my technician Denise was fantastic! She made the experience as comfortable and painless as possible from beginning to end, was very professional and the facility is very clean and inviting.

Great spot for services in the Glebe! Great location just past the queensway. Had a fantastic experience with laser (4 sessions) and nails. Recently got a quickie mani and thanks to a promotion I saw on Instagram, I also received a free brow wax. The service was efficient and professional.

This place is amazing and the women who work there are fantastic. I started my day with a pedicure. The technician was knowledgeable, super friendly and made my toes look fabulous. I then did a facial and it was honestly the best facial I've had. I was so relaxed, the products made my skin hydrated and I felt confident walking around with no makeup. I would highly recommend the Ten Spot Glebe location!

My second time getting a shellac manicure here - and every time I feel spoiled with the amount of care they take in their work. They have good music playing which adds to the atmosphere and they always have a good movie on. Their staff are very kind and refill your tea just in time.

It was also my first time getting a detox facial done here - and I felt absolutely spoiled when leaving. If you need a bit of a spa day like I did as a pick-me-up after a hard week, I highly would recommend going to the Ten Spot in the Glebe for a shellac manicure and detox facial. You will not regret it.

Cleanest space I've ever entered (not just for the type of facility, but generally speaking), friendly staff, and the services are major value for your dollars!

Unfortunately, the eyebrow wax was a disaster. The two brows were not even and the skin was ripped in one spot. This has never happened before at other places, including Ten Spot in Westboro. I will not be back.

Sarah is great! It's always nice to be comfortable when getting a painful beauty treatment! Having my fave show Friends already playing makes a wax appointment! Top Notch! Thanks again and see you in a few weeks!

Excellent service, very accommodating (I booked the same morning). Emily was professional, efficient and very friendly. Her neck & shoulder massage was soon worth it.

I did one session of laser for bumkini 4 weeks ago and it worked like a charm. Didn't even have to shave once over the four weeks. I was very impressed and happy with the service. Went back for my second session today and everyone there is lovely and professional. Why did I not try laser sooner? !? Thanks the Ten Spot, I will recommend everyone to you and especially Sarah!

Loved my first visit to this tenspot! I’ve been to the Westboro location but I found this location both friendlier and more cozy both in terms of vibe/atmosphere as well as the space. I would definitely recommend it!

She was very professional, accommodating when I needed a short breather, and paid attention to detail to ensure I was more than satisfied with my result. She mentioned that I was the quickest session she has provided, and I was equally impressed with the thoroughness of our appointment. I would recommend her services, as well as the kind reception I received upon arrival and departure at this TEN SPOT location. I look forward to returning!
